Fiveamprayer would like to welcome Pastor Thomas who is bringing the word this morning!  Thank you for letting God use you this morning to send us an right-on-time word!

We are walking in today:  We Hold These Truths To Be Self Evident.

On this day, the fourth of July, the number four in the numerology of theology is the number of creation.  On this day, our country birthed and created an opportunity of independence.  Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.  That is what the independence of a believer is today.  The Declaration of Independence is a written document that we as a country stand on and believe in.  We as believers also have a document that we stand on and believe in and that is the written word of God.  A declaration is something that we have declared, announced or stated.  As believers we find ourselves living based on a declaration of interdependence.  We are dependent on God--needing and depending on Him.  That is and should be the essence of our praise and worship to Him.  As we read the word, it deepens our devotion to God, because we see the love He has for us.  As we give Him praise and worship, the Bible declares that He inhabits the praises of His people.  We get His attention and He shows up--2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.  We are to give Him worship and praise, in declaration for who He is and what He is able to do!  He shows up on the scene and creates liberty in every area of our lives!  Liberty by definition simply means to be free--to have freedom of choice.  The Bible declares in Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.  We find ourselves living to please God.  Simply by the liberty that He has laid before us!  Let's look at the statement, declaration of independence:  to declare something as in Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.  We as believers, find ourselves making declarations everyday.  And we should be making declarations every day, declaring the liberty afforded to us by God through the precious blood that was shed.  It is that freedom from the world, to right standing with Him that we must seek after!  This liberty is already made available to us!  When ever you are living, bound to anything, the first step to getting free is to begin to declare that, "I am free."  Anytime you wanna get away from somebody, you tell them, "I got to go."  As we believe, God--every single day, we must get up and declare His word over our lives!  The scripture goes on to say, the light shall shine upon thy ways.  The light that is shinning is the light of God.  Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  God's light shines on our ways as we decree and declare His word of liberty over our lives!  The Declaration of Independence is the reason that we celebrate today--which was birthed out of the American revolution--the resistance to a government or resistance to something that is binding.  We must get up every morning and begin to declare the word of God over anything that is binding us.  That we might be set free. That we might create a resistance to the enemy.  James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  We must begin to resist and declare on a consistent basis, the word of God!  Declare the promises of God, over every area of your life!  The Bible says, in Isaiah 57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.  So as we declare freedom, God creates freedom.  As we declare peace, God creates peace.  We must be constant in our resistance of the enemy--not co-signing nonsense, giving in, or allowing an opportunity for the enemy to come in!  We must have a consistent path of resistance.  Creating our own personal revolution!  We each know what it is that we must resist and declare freedom over!  We see that Jesus shows up on the scene, and changes the way that we think about our freedom.  He changes the way that we seek God.  This solidifies the freedom that God has promised us!  That we find inside of His word.  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Since we know that Jesus is the word made flesh and that the Bible also declares in John 8:36 (AMP) So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.  The word of God has become our written document of our independence, signed and written in the precious blood of Jesus. We must be willing to fight for it!  We must be willing to find ourselves in such a deep study of the word and dependence on God, that when anybody asks why you are free, you will have the ability to tell them.  "The word says so and here is how the freedom I have, that can be extended to you!"  We must become so entrenched in this understanding of this precious document, that we have--that we build our very lives on it!  Just at this nation has built everything on the Declaration of Independence.  We therefore as believers, build our lives on the word of God!

Fiveamprayer, we decree and declare by
His precious blood and by His Spirit:  We hold this word of God, to be self evident--a clear and true word, that we build our very lives on it!  Amen!  Amen!
