We are walking in today: Under The Influence!
Acts 2:12-18 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy. I know you have heard of DUI's and people being drunk--being under the influence. They do some stuff that you never thought that they would do. They walk in places that they would never go, because they are under the influence. But I am talking about being under the influence of the Holy Spirit. We walked in a weekend meditation of stir up the gift! Now we are under the influence of the Holy Spirit! Acts 2:12-13 tells the story of this point beginning in Acts 1:5 then 10 days later, on Pentecost these men who witnessed them--thought that they were drunk and under the influence of something natural. They were acting strangely--it wasn't normal for people to be that happy, so early in the day. As we look to the word, we will see why they were thought to be drunk and hopefully we too will be found under the influence! There must be a substance to be influenced by! They were were thought to be intoxicated with new wine, this intoxication caused people to act differently--some laugh, some sing and some cry. Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. When you are under the influence of the Holy Spirit it shows what you are pursing. What are you after? They said they were under the influence and it showed that they were by the way they spoke and how they leaped for joy. It has to be new containers--Luke 5:37-38 37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. 38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. The old man can't receive it! Take off the old and put on the new! 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. We are under the influence! Moses was under the influence as he parted the Red Sea. Mary was under the influence, as a virgin she conceived. The three Hebrew boys walked through the fire under the influence. Peter walked on the water, under the influence. Under the influence, Lazarus got up from the grave. Joshua asked the sun and moon to stand still, under the influence. We must operate under the influence of the Holy Spirit at all times. Because the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth! Do you think you can get up at 5am and shout the way that you do, unless you were under the influence of the Holy Spirit?! Do you think a mighty move of of God could take place this early unless we were all under the influence? I want the Holy Spirit to show up in me! I want the Holy Spirit to move like never before! I want the Holy Spirit to tell us things that we would never know on our own! Seeing the unseen clearly! Asking God to do the impossible thing under the influence we walk by faith, not by sight. We are under the influence we speak those things that be not as though they are! We are under the influence and we are not anxious for nothing but we seek Him in prayer for all things. We seek Him with prayer and supplication under the influence. We are to pray without ceasing. We know that men ought to always pray and not faint! While we are under the influence, we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us! Under the influence we know that greater is He that is within us than he that is with in this world! Look to He who gives sight to the blind! The Lord our God is giving us new revelation knowledge you are getting not only getting His insight but are also being stirred up on the inside! You are now under the influence! That's why you seek Him like you do! You are seeking Him like never before! That is why do you dig deeper and deeper into His word! That you go off and do some research. Now you are under the influence! Now you are in the place that the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob has brought you to. He comes to let us know He is the Lord God, the great I AM that I AM! He alone is the Living God! Anybody under the influence of the great I AM? He woke you up in your right mind this morning. He comes to let us know that it is ME that lives on the inside of you! He is directing and ordering our steps in His holy word. Fiveamprayer is under the influence!
Can't nothing stop me! I am under the influence! When I act crazy and jump for joy, I am under the influence! They give you a DUI--driving under the influence in the natural but for us we are not to quench the Holy Spirit! 1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. When you are under the influence, you would not let go nor did you go crazy! All because you are under the influence! Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. I am under the influence! The Spirit of God has fallen on me! Look at Moses he was under the influence to part the Red Sea with a staff. The three Hebrew boys that would not bow to anyone but the true and living God, they were under the influence! We can't loose! The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob has allowed us to see some things! He has sealed us and stirred us up! Then today He comes to let us know that we are under the influence! We have been made more than conquers I am under the influence! I am victorious, I am under the influence! I am a force to be reckoned with! Get up and praise Him for being under the influence! Doing things like never before! That He has us asking questions, keep seeking Him--I am under the influence of the Holy Spirit! We are hungry and thirsty and You, God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob--have filled us! We are under the influence! Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Fiveamprayer, is under the influence! I have tried Him for myself! I have called on His name when I prayed, I am under the influence! Now when we look at the word it is in high definition and three dimension! We once were blind but now we see! Our spiritual eyes have been opened under the influence! We even hear differently, our ears are peaked to hear what thus says the Lord! So much so that He is just dropping revelation knowledge on us and sending us back to His word to read it again. Now that you are under the influence, somethings are gonna change, with the stirring up of the Holy Spirit! No more carnal but a rising up of our spirit-man. Seeking Him like never before! We went to a new dimension on Friday--the word says that we will dream dreams and prophesy. He gave us the word and power to cast down imaginations and cast out demons and to move mountains when you are speaking under the influence! He gave us the power of life and death in our tongues--we are under the influence! Thank You Lord God in heaven! You are the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! We are under the influence and can do all things through Jesus Christ which strengthens us! Like Peter who walked on water, we are under the influence! Thank You for the stirring up! We are now under the influence! Thank You Holy Spirit! He is so good, He comes by to give us daily bread! If we would operate under the influence of the Holy Spirit we would have peace that surpasses all understanding! No more thinking about what is going on, you are focused on God! Not in fear but walking in the power, love and sound mind that our Father has given us! We have to know who we are and who's we are! I am under the influence now! You can't stop me devil! Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Thank You Lord God in heaven! Thank You Holy Spirit! I am thirsty and the water You give I shall thirst no more! That is the difference in your mind, you are under the influence of the Holy Spirit! Seek the truth, know the truth and be made free! Thank You Lord! Aren't you glad about it? Tell someone today, I am under the influence! The Holy Spirit is stirred up on the inside of me! That is why we can stand on His word--2 Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. The Lord our God is with us! That is why we are a force to be reckoned with! We can stand now because we are under the influence! Thank You Lord! Don't you see and feel differently now? You are under the influence! This is some kind of substance, it is like no other! It is an anchor for our souls and the source of all things! Thank You Lord! We are under the influence! And it was done by nobody but God! Only He can do this! The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! See how His word flows together, when you are really seeking Him! Thank You Holy Spirit! Thank You Lord God in heaven! We lift up fiveamprayer this morning for the scripture we are walking in today--Acts 2:12-18. You said that there will come a day that You would pour out your spirit on all flesh! They thought that they were drunk on natural spirits but we know and are experiencing the high from on high of Your Holy Spirit stirred up in us and influencing us! We will dream dreams and prophesy. Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. We lift up all prayer requests, we know that it is already done, already finished! Walk under the influence of the Holy Spirit! Just like when you were a kid there were certain people that your parents did not want you around, that they may influence you in the wrong way. Perhaps in their choices or speech. The influence that we are under is the influence that will lead, guide and direct us to all righteousness! Thank You Holy Spirit! We repent for being afraid, in doubt, fearful or in unbelief. I can speak a word and the enemy has to flee, mountains have to be cast into the sea! I can ask for and receive the impossible by faith! I have no doubt just trust and believe His word is true! I am under the influence! Thank You Holy Spirit! What a mighty Lord God in heaven we serve! He is the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! He is awesome and amazing! He brings us a rhema word everyday on this line. I am under the influence! Thank You Lord God in heaven! You do it Lord! If You don't do it, then it won't be done! We are under the influence! We are but earthen vessels, yielded unto You service! You can't stop me, I am a force to be reckoned with! Thank You Lord! I am under the influence! The enemy will try to move you out of position! Let Him know, I can't be moved--I am under the influence! Thank You Holy Spirit! Thank You Lord God in heaven! I am expecting a mighty pouring our from our Abba! There is a shift going on, He has been building us up. The Lord is building up His army and He is giving us wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Thank You Lord!
