Today we are walking in: Sin According To The Scriptures










Exodus 29:33 And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, H3722 to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.

Today we look to the word H3722 kaphar -- to cover, purge, make an atonement, make reconciliation, cover over with pitch




The Torah testifies.........……

Exodus 29:36 And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and thou shalt cleanse the altar, when thou hast made an atonement H3722 for it, and thou shalt anoint it, to sanctify it.

Exodus 30:10 And Aaron shall make an atonement H3722 upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement H3722 upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.

Leviticus 1:4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement H3722 for him.

Leviticus 16:10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement H3722 with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.







The prophets proclaim..................

2 Samuel 21:3 Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, H3722 that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

Nehemiah 10:33 For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement H3722 for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our Yah.



The writings bear witness............

1 Chronicles 6:49 But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement H3722 for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of Yah had commanded.

2 Chronicles 29:24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement H3722 for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.













Shavua Tov Fiveamprayer family! Happy Day 1!! Lets Prepare Our Hearts For Yom Kippur!! We have to get a real UNDERSTANDING of what sin is according to the Scriptures..... Sin is the by-product of having no standards, and every man doing what seems right in their own eyes. Anarchy, lawlessness, Mayhem, wars and rumors of war, all stirring globally because man has rebelled completely against the holy Creator, and His righteous Commandments ( Judges 17:6). The night is far spent, the day is at hand, it is a time to heed the warning of the Shofar blast of the trumpet from heaven, alerting those who have ears to what the RUACH is saying, that it is time to TESHUVAH and turn away from our sin ( Romans 13:12, Revelation 3:22). This brings us to a big question, since the standards of righteousness have been removed, What is sin? It is written, Sin is lawlessness, breaking the Commandments ( 1 John 3:4). Sin is a by-product of having no standards, and every man doing what seems right in their own eyes ( Judges 17:6). Anarchy, lawlessness, mayhem, wars and rumors of wars, are all stirring globally because man has rebelled completely against the holy Creator, and His righteous Commandments ( Matthew 24:6) Thanks be to our YAH, that there is a world wide remnant, who loves the Almighty with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. Whether they live or die, their hearts are set on glorifying their YAH and Savior with all their hopes set on things above and spending eternity with their beloved Savior and eternal Bridegroom!! We have a choice, we are either going to behold and follow our precious Lamb who shed His blood to redeem us to be a holy obedient people or we will fall under the terrifying judgments when He returns as the Lion of the tribe of Judah!! It is time for Teshuvah, THE SHOFAR IS SOUNDING!! It is written, If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not The Most High Yah done it? Surely The Most High Yah does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets!! A Lion ( from the tribe of Judah) has ROARED!!!! Who will not fear the sovereign YAH!! LAWGIVER AND JUDGE HAS SPOKEN!!! Who can but prophesy? ( Amos 3: 6-8!!) The most vital prophetic words of these last days are, TESHUVAH THAT YOUR SINS MIGHT BE FORGIVEN, RETURN TO THE MOST HIGH YAH AND OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS AS YOU BEHOLD THE LAMB OF YAHUSHA AND BEHOLD HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD. Little time remains, you must be ready for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect and you will be unprepared if you are not making ready now ( Luke 12:40)!!! HAPPY DAY 1! HAPPY SHAVUA TOV!! BE READY FOR YOM KIPPUR!!! ALL PRAISES TO THE MOST HIGH YAH!!!!
