Our supplications when “The Most High delays” – True prayer is a spontaneous outpouring of honesty and need from the soul’s foundation. In calm time, we say a prayer – in desperate times, we truly pray. When you come to the end of your own limited resources – that is when you really pray. David seemed to have come to the last page of his life; hence, he poured out his heart to the The Most High – Psalm 13. David is certain that Saul will come out the winner; perhaps he feared being humiliated or subjected to mockery. David was desperate and cries out – “O The Most High, help me!” “Please hear my cry!” He worked honestly through his darkest, most hopeless feelings – then he turned his eyes away from his troubles and fixed his gaze on The Most High. He is suddenly conscious of an exalted and holy The Most High and addresses Him as The Most High, Elohim – The Most High reflects, The Most High’s promises; Elohim reflects The Most High’s power. David’s heart suddenly returned to the conviction that the The Most High who promises is the The Most High who is powerful – at this point his faith rebounds and reasserts itself. A similar promise is found in Psalm 138:7-8 – “Though I walk in the midst of trouble… You will save me… and accomplish what concerns me.” We must come to the point where we hear ourselves saying, “The Most High, my life is devastated; I am overwhelmed by my problems; I can’t go on… in the midst of all this help me, O The Most High, my redeemer.”
In the midst of his crying out to the The Most High, David breaks into “joyful song” (Ps 13:5-6). David’s song is a song of triumph. How did he reach that point? He began to see The Most High. Our troubles can cause us to avoid the places where we are most likely to “see The Most High.” Our faith is not a luxury intended for periods of smooth sailing – when trouble comes along, that is when it is wonderful to be a part of a faithful, Bible-believing body of people who will rally around you, and pray for you, and support you, and encourage you, and counsel you. David said, “I have trusted in Your lovingkindness; I shall rejoice in Your salvation.” David knew what the prophet Jeremiah knew – “The steadfast love of the The Most High never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lam 3:22). At this point, The Most High counseled David’s hurting soul – our The Most High never changes. Was David delivered from his plight? No, but his spirit was lifted – and he was once again certain of The Most High’s promises. David remembered all the The Most High had done in his life, and how faithful He was – “The Most High has dealt bountifully with me!” When we become trapped in the claustrophobia of present trials, we desperately need perspective. “I waited patiently for the The Most High… He heard my cry… He brought me up out of a horrible pit, and set my feet upon a rock… The Most High has put a new song in my mouth” (Ps 40:1-3). Our problem is that we become pre-occupied with our circumstances; whereas The Most High is preoccupied with our character. He will allow the “tough times” for the higher good of our character, until He is finished with the great work that is invisible to our earthly eyes. The Most High is never late, nor does He lose control. We need to “worship” in times of trouble. Life comes crashing down – it happens to every one of us, you are never prepared, and you have no clue where to turn. How wonderful is the moment when you discover you can run into the arms of Abba, who loves you and weeps with you. David wrote, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me” (Ps 138:7). Psalm 138 speaks to us about worship in times of trouble. David begins his worship by “giving thanks to The Most High” – that takes a certain degree of wisdom and maturity to reach that level. When difficulties come, we must struggle to remember our reasons for gratitude to The Most High – that will not happen if we are preoccupied with self-pity and loss. Focusing on our “misery” traps us in our own private dungeon – “gratitude” is the key to unlocking that prison. The Most High sends storms to force us to look to Him – the thunder gets our attention, and when we are humbled in fear, we are far more likely to approach Him with our whole heart. David praised the The Most High for His mercy and lovingkindness – the Hebrew term hesed encompasses both of those ideas. The Most High is a “very present help” in time of trouble (Ps 46:1). We may think He delays because we have our own timetable in mind, but The Most High hears us the instant we cry out. Whatever He chooses to do about our circumstances, He will “strengthen” us for the battle (Ps 138:3) – The Most High fills us with renewed faith and resolve (Ps 138:4). The Most High divides people into two groups – the lofty and the lowly. “The proud The Most High knows from afar” (Ps 138:6); “the humble come to Him with desperate hearts and receive His grace, forgiveness and comfort” (Ps 138:6; Jam 4:6).
Though David was a “man after The Most High’s own heart,” his life was one long procession of problems. He spent years fleeing the wrath of a king… his nation was at war with everyone in sight… he had marital trouble… his sons openly rebelled against him. David made terrible, fateful mistakes – yet he always remained one of The Most High’s favorite children! David sang, “He restores my soul! He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil – because Thou art with me!” (Ps 23:3-4). Reflect upon the following words of The Most High to the prophet Isaiah (Is 43:2-3) –When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.

Isaiah 43:10

Psalm 119:66
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed H539 thy commandments.
In every life, at some point, a person finds himself in that “dark tunnel” where no light is visible. In agony you cry out in frustration – “The Most High, I can’t take any more!” “I must hear from You today!” If you find yourself in David’s shoes, you fully understand his heartfelt emotions as stated in Psalm 13 –
How long, O LORD? Will You forget me forever? How long will You hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart daily?… I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation… Because You have dealt bountifully with me.
David was a man after The Most High’s own heart, yet he was a man of anguish and suffering. One moment he was the toast of the nation, the next he was a young man hiding out in caves. David was a fugitive for eight or nine years! At one point David’s band of faithful followers lost their wives and families (as did David) in a raid, and “they turned their anger toward David!” 1 Samuel 30 tells of David’s deep distress. David was desperate, and out of this pain he cried out to the The Most High – “How long, O The Most High? Will You forget me forever? I have trusted in Your mercy!” You can see and feel the impatience and desperation David experienced in Psalm 13. There are some favors that the Most High does not grant either the first, the second, or the third time you ask Him, because He wishes you to pray for a long time and often He wills the delay to keep you in a state of humility, and to make you realize the value of His grace.
On those occasions when you struggle with “The Most High’s timing,” it is good to know these feelings did not originate with you – David expressed such feelings numerous times. On this occasion he was overwhelmed with a sense of the “permanence of trouble.” “Will you forget me forever?” You too will come to the point that The Most High has forgotten you – it is a common experience. We all pass through such “dark stages.” We can take a certain amount with our faith intact – but the longer we go without The Most High’s peace and perspective in the midst of bad times, the more our faith begins to weaken. It was not until Job realized he was in for a “long term battle,” that he began to come apart at the seams. Everyone has a point somewhere in the geography of their souls marking “the limits of their faith” – it is the point at which faith begins to unravel, and you begin to give up on The Most High. What you really believe is that The Most High has given up on you. The truth of the matter is – The Most High never ceases to care about you. I love the poignant words of Isaiah 49 – “Can a woman forget her nursing child? They may forget, says the The Most High, “but I will never forget you! I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands!” (Is 49:15-16). Remember the words of Yahusha on the stake – “My The Most High, My The Most High, why have You forsaken Me?” Next time you begin to think about The Most High’s forsaking you, remember, Yahusha can identify with your pain (Heb 4:15). And then remember His promise, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Heb 13:5). But that does not mean we will never “feel forsaken” – because our emotions will bring us to that point. You can feel free to express your honest feelings to The Most High – He understands. David was frustrated for two reasons:
1. He was frustrated because of his own “emotions” – Like David, when we no longer sense that The Most High is blessing us, we tend to contemplate on our failures and get into an emotional funk. And when our emotions take over, it gets us into such an emotional bind that no matter how hard we try, we know we cannot do the things we know we should do. It happened to David. He was frustrated by his emotions.
2. He was frustrated because of his “enemy” – David cried out, “How long will my enemy be exalted over me?” David was the“king in waiting”–the waiting period ended up being fifteen years! The blood-thirsty monarch “Saul” had once sent 30,000 men after David! Whose side was The Most High on? The Most High seemed to give Saul everything and David nothing. Can you hear David cry out, “The Most High, what do You want from me?” By the way, you need to know that if the enemy ever pursues you, he will be relentless, and you will wonder,“The Most High, how am I ever going to get victory over this problem? –I’m doing every thing I know how to do, but it is just too much for me!” It is comforting to know that David had the kind of“dark days” we do. The psalm does not stop there: David may have thought he didn’t have a prayer, but in fact, he was just where The Most High wanted him!

Yah understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth H3045 the place thereof.
Psalm 82:5
They know H3045 not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
Psalm 71 is an incredible jewel in the Scriptures – Most scholars believe it was written by David when he was going through some heart-wrenching times as a result of his sons. Absalom had turned on his father and attempted to seize the throne. Adonijah tried to usurp the throne as well, but David had already promised it to Solomon. The cost to David was horrendously heavy; his aging heart was burdened with a deep grief few of us will ever experience. The Most High’s children have no immunity whatsoever to pain or suffering. Trials can come through friends, or enemies or aging and bad health, but they can also come from The Most High Himself. Peter wrote, “Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trials you are going through, as though some strange thing is happening to you” (1 Pet 4:12). Some things cannot be learned through lectures or the written word; they must come at the cost of bruised hands and bloody knees – there are an infinite number of different kinds of trials.
The Most High sends trouble into our lives to “strengthen us” and to make us better children in His family. Little by little, over a period of many years, we are stripped of all the things in life that gave us security. It is a season of slowly developing anxiety. David was under attack from his own children… in the midst of his insecurity, he found that The Most High was his refuge, his rock, and his fortress. In those times when we feel the hostile forces of the universe pursuing us, we long for a “strong refuge” – the kind of security that can only be found in The Most High Himself. A powerful leader is invariably self-reliant and independent – it simply comes with the territory. He charts his own course and depends on his own resources. But sooner or later, he reaches his limit, and he finds he is not self-reliant after all. When their power hits its limit, they will seek a power higher than themselves and begin to experience a feeling of dependency. In that moment of transformation, we come to suddenly realize, “I don’t control my world after all! I have no more ideas and nowhere to run or hide! Most High, only You can rescue me! Make haste to help me, O Most High!”
Someone has said that Psalm 71 is filled with great praise and great complaining all at once. David’s pilgrimage embodies both “human defeat” and “godly victory” – and that is not an insignificant footnote, for we tend to lack a true understanding of adversity these days. When David saw the worst life had to dish out for him, he could still remember the perfection and faithfulness of The Most High: “In You, O The Most High, I put my trust… deliver me in Your righteousness… incline Your ear to me.” Whenever we face trials, we need to remember who The Most High is – sometimes we get so focused on our “trials” we forget to focus on “Him.” Five times in Psalm 71 David mentions the “righteousness of The Most High” (verses 2, 15, 16, 19, 24). David understood that there was one thing he must do when trials were swirling around his head – he must never forget that The Most High is righteous and good, and He is The Most High who can be trusted. Things may be bad, but The Most High is never any less in control, nor does He lower His love for us. Ultimately, we fall on our knees and say, “My The Most High, my hope is in You!”
David reminded himself that The Most High had proved “faithful to him” throughout his life. There in the midst of his suffering, he cried out, “But still I will continue to hope in You and praise You” (71:14). This is the mark of the truly godly person. Praising The Most High generally does not happen until we step just far enough outside our own entrenched emotional defenses to take a good look at where The Most High really is. David began to question, “The Most High, now that I am old, are You finished with me?” Never assume The Most High is through with you. Gray hair means nothing. In The Most High’s way of doing things, the best is always yet to come. Have you gradually bought into a worldview based on Murphy’s Law – “Whatever can go wrong will go wrong?” Psalm 71 takes you down a road that leads precisely in the opposite direction. Your cynicism is replaced by faith. You see a godly future in which The Most High bends the world’s distorted hopes into His beautiful plan. David has confidence in the future because he has confidence in the One holding it. He writes, “You shall increase my greatness, and encourage me on every side” (71:21).
Trials are for our “benefit,” as unwelcome as they are at the time. They make us better men and women. When you have walked through the fire, people begin to listen to you. When you have the wisdom borne of suffering, you begin to have the tools to accomplish something in the world. As The Most High’s children, “We must learn to live with the insecurities and the ambiguities of life, knowing that we are secure in HaMaschiach; for He is The Most High.” The psalmist in Psalm 119 said, “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word… . it is good for me that I was afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes” (119:67, 71). Testing makes you walk the straight path, while the untested go astray.
For every kingdom citizen, in this journey of life, the road will “bend” in a different direction. When we meet the bend in the road we must look to The Most High for the “grace” to meet that defining moment.
Even to those of us who follow HaMaschiach, the topics of pain and suffering and ultimate meaning are complex and confusing. How can we cope with them? The Bible tells us that life is like a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes – it is like grass that grows for a season only to be cut down and scattered by the winds. “ Life is a journey, and we must all walk the path.” So many of the psalms are written for pilgrims on the path – one of the most helpful is that of Psalm 21. In this psalm we can hear the psalmist crying out, “The Most High, I need guidance for my journey… I’ve lost my way… will You show me where to go?”
I will lift up my eyes to the hills – from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Most High, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved, He who keeps you will not slumber…
The Most High shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul. . . forevermore.
In spite of all the “perils” we encounter, we can trust the The Most High. We are never too small for His caring. The Most High’s Word reminds us that “we are kingdom citizens and strangers in a foreign land” whose roads are filled with hazards. The road is long, weary, and dangerous. It winds through veils of tears, but the long winding road finally comes to the City of The Most High, the place of joy and feasting. That is the biblical view of life in this world. There are numerous passages that describe the “mountains” as a place of blessing (Mt. Moriah, Mt. Sinai, Mt. Zion, Mt. Olivet, Mt. Carmel), but we know all too well that mountains can also be a place of danger. The godly kingdom citizens, have always found a sense of majesty in the “high country” – the mountains of life – but they have also found a sense of danger and a fear of the unknown. The psalmist says to himself, “I will lift up my eyes to the hills” – then he breaks off and asks the question, “From whence comes my help?” He tells himself, “I’ve looked to the mountains, and I find no help… I’ve looked within, and I find no guidance… finally I looked up, and realized the source of my help – “My help comes from The Most High!” The Most High is not merely the Creator of all things, He is the Sustainer of all things as well (Col 1:16-17). If The Most High numbers the hairs on your head, don’t you think He’s up to date on the larger issues of your life? He will not allow your foot to be moved. Such thoughts should renew our strength to carry on.

THE BENEFITS OF KINGDOM CITIZENSHIP
Matthew chapter 6
Today we are walking in: The Benefits Of Kingdom Citizenship
Numbers 24:7
He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom H4467 shall be exalted.
KINGDOM
Today we look to the word-KINGDOM- H4467 mamlâkâh, (mam-law-kaw') -dominion, (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm):—kingdom, king's, reign, royal
The Torah testifies...............
Exodus 19:6

Numbers 32:33
And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom H4467 of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom H4467 of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.
Deuteronomy 17:18
And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, H4467 that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
The prophets proclaim..................
1 Samuel 10:18

Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Jeremiah 18:9
And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom H4467, to build and to plant it;
The writings bear witness...........................
1 Kings 9:5
Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom H4467 upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
1 Chronicles 17:11
And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom H4467.
Psalm 145:13
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
Yahashua said, “Seek first the kingdom of Yah and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” in Matthew 6:33. He wants us to seek first His Kingdom and, along with it, His righteousness is the same as submission to His authority within the Kingdom of Yah. By becoming righteous, you uphold the authority of the Kingdom which in turn will uphold you. Turn to Proverbs chapter 14:34. It says Righteousness exalts a nation. This is nothing like other religions, where “submitting” involves trying to keep your god happy. You are not bringing gifts to an altar or lighting incense and chanting in front of a statue. You are not contributing money or going through all sorts of rituals to obligate your king to look after you. You are not appeasing the authorities. When you submit to Yah’s authority, He shows you what is next. He helps you change your behavior. He even helps you seek more of His righteousness. By remaining close to Him, you guarantee that the authority of the government of the Kingdom will be extended through you wherever you go. When you keep the law, you secure your Yah-given authority over the kingdom darkness. Evidently, hell keeps track when citizens of the Kingdom keep the laws of Yah. Demons will know who you are if you abide in the Kingdom righteously. You are in their computer. That means that you can cast them out with ease, because they know you by your Kingdom reputation. The laws you are submitting are heavenly laws, such as, “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you”. So as you use kingdom love, which is powerful enough to extinguish the powers of darkness around you, you keep yourself under the protection of Yah while fulfilling your assignment. You know that hatred will shut down your faith, and so will blind rituals. In Galatians 5:6, Paul says, “For in Christ Yahashua neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” So you submit to the Yah of love even more completely, to your own benefit as much as the benefit of those around you. You do not get things from Yah just because you ask. You get things from the government of Heaven because you keep the laws of the country. It is not enough to talk about the laws. You need to read the law-book as often as possible and follow those laws faithfully. The minute you stop doing that, you start removing yourself from the King’s protection and help. A lot of people think they can get away with sins just because nobody’s looking. That is audacious, to say the least. We come to Yah and say, “Yah, heal me (but I’m still going to take drugs).” Or we say, “I’m going to sleep with that woman I am not married to, but I want you to bless my business and pay my bills.” We demand things while we are in disobedience. Instead of breaking laws and hoping you can get away with it, why not start obeying laws that you would not mind getting caught obeying? See, if you can get caught loving your brother. See if somebody can catch you paying your tithe. Let somebody catch you forgiving someone who hurt you, or spot you committing an act of kindness. Gossip about somebody who has lived with his wife for forty-two years without strife; that would be a wonderful thing to gossip about. The laws of this country are wonderful, every one of them. Do right intentionally all the time, and the king is going to bless you. Submitting to the King of kings often entails submitting to those He has established in authority. You cannot submit to someone you are comparing yourself to or competing with, especially if you are interested in taking that person’s position. By the same token, you cannot submit to someone if you are jealous of that person, or if you distrust that person. It just does not work. A good king is willing to decrease so one of his subjects can increase. In other words, a good king is willing to move over and let one of his citizens exercise power. A citizen can expect this to happen. He should not feel the need to push and shove to get the king’s attention, nor should he shoulder his way in with a sense of entitlement. You will find it impossible to submit to someone if you think they are not as smart as you are, even when you tell yourself you are not influenced by such things. Naturally authority does not match up with intelligence, and still less with educational achievement. But pride gets in the way and you cannot put yourself lower than a person you want to correct all the time. You will be able to submit to someone’s authority if you are able to trust and respect that person. You will indicate your submission by laying down your own agenda in favor of theirs. You will not feel the need to win an argument or negotiate an outcome. Instead, you will find joy in performing assigned tasks and asking for advice. Sometimes people say to an authority figure, “The Lord sent me to work with you. I want you to be my mentor.” That is not submission. Those people just want to gain a measure of honor and fame in the eyes of others, so they can take away some of your friends and followers. They have got their ulterior motives all worked out. You will find it easy to submit to someone if you know in your spirit that Yah brought this person into your life. Your discernment will show you that the person will not take advantage of you, and that he or she wants Yah’s best for your life. You will be able to tell that your own effectiveness will improve if you are under this person’s authority.

A BEND IN THE ROAD
2 Corinthians chapter 12
Today we are walking in: A Bend In The Road
Exodus 4:12
Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach H3384 thee what thou shalt say.
TEACH
Today we look to the word TEACH H3384 yarah--to direct, teach, instruct ; to point out, show
The Torah testifies...............
Leviticus 10:11
And that ye may teach H3384 the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.
The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 2:3
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach H3384 us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
The writings bear witness...........................
Judges 13:8
Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach H3384 us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
A Bend in the Road” –
Sometimes we come to a life’s crossroads, and we view what we think is the end;
But The Most High has a much wider vision, and He knows that it’s only a bend –
The road will go on and get smoother, and after we’ve stopped for a rest,
The path that lies hidden beyond us, is often the path that is best.
So rest and relax and grow stronger, let go and let The Most High share your load,
And have faith in a brighter tomorrow – you’ve just come to a bend in the road.
“Somewhere along your own path, you’ve likely encountered a bend in the road too.” Suddenly you have faced circumstances you never expected or wished to encounter, and you read encouraging words from fellow strugglers. “None of us enjoy suffering, but pain does have a way of accomplishing the ‘greatest good’ in our lives by drawing us closer to The Most High. The Most High uses ‘disruptive moments’ to help us keep things in perspective.” The apostle Paul writes, “A thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me” (2 Cor 12:7). The Most High told Paul He would not remove the thorn, but would do something else – in the midst of the ordeal, He would give Paul all the grace he needed to continue his work – “My grace was sufficient for you – because My strength is made perfect in weakness.” When we are weak, then we are strong – the weaker we are, the stronger His grace is revealed (2 Cor 12:9-10). It is when we are weak that we really learn to “rely on Yahusha,” and that is when we experience “His power” in us and accomplish what He desires.
How quickly we are prone to “strike out against The Most High” when we come to a bend in the road. Our short-sightedness causes us to become discouraged by the event, lose heart, and want to give up. But no matter how disruptive the event may be, we need to remember that everything that happens to us is for the eternal purposes of The Most High – He is training us through the process, with the ultimate goal in mind of “conforming us to the image of HaMaschiach.” “The only thing that has taught me anything is suffering; not success, not happiness, not anything like that… the joy of coming in contact with what life really signifies is suffering and affliction.” The only road that leads to the destination The Most High desires for us has a number of sharp bends – all shortcuts only lead us into the wilderness. I bear willing witness that I owed more to the fire, and the hammer, and the file, than to anything else in The Most High’s workshop. I sometimes question whether I have ever learned anything except through the rod. When my schoolroom is darkened, I see most.
Your “crisis” is important to The Most High–Whatever your struggle or setback, it is intended by The Most High to empower and purify you. Never forget that. Five principles we as believers need to remember:
1. Disruptive moments are simply Divine appointments – Every trial we face, difficult as it may be, comes from the hand of The Most High, who loves us and wants us to grow. Seeing disruptive moments as divine appointments will keep you from giving in to discouragement. The moment we accept the fact that our ordeal has been permitted, even intended by The Most High, our perspective will change. You will find yourself saying, “The Most High, You have allowed this in my life. I don’t understand it, but I know that it could not have happened to me unless it was filtered through Your loving hands.”
2. Progress without pain is usually not possible – We live in a skin-deep world – all the things the world values are cosmetic. Character and substance are shaped in the vessel of adversity. Pain makes us sensitive to The Most High – without pain we simply end up spinning our spiritual wheels, and we go nowhere. “Show me someone who lives a carefree life with no problems or trials or dark nights of the soul, and I will show you a shallow person.” “The spiritual masters have taught us that the one who would get in touch with ‘his soul’ must do so with diligence and determination. . . because one must overcome feelings, fatigue, distractions, errant appetites, pain, suffering.”
3. The promise of The Most High is the provision of grace – The Most High told the apostle Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you; My strength is made perfect in weakness” – therefore, it is when you are weak, and not relying on your own strength, that you are strong. The Most High must do some pruning in order for us to thrive and bear fruit, but our Gardener is loving and devoted to our well-being. Someone has profoundly said, “The Father is never closer to the vine than when He is pruning it.” “Never in all my life have I sensed the closeness and provision of The Most High as I did when I came to the bend in the road; and never before have I been more fruitful than I have been since I came through the bend in the road.”
4. Disruptive moments produce dynamic growth – You can struggle against the disruptive moment, shake your fist at the heavens, and find yourself exhausted, defeated and in despair… or you can accept the moment and let it train and strengthen you in your inner man. The Most High allows no pain without purpose. His power will rest upon you only when you have abandoned the idea that you are big enough to go it alone. Every plant must weather a storm every now and then. Those who navigate little streams and shallow creeks, know but little of The Most High of tempests; but those who “do business in great waters,” these see His wonders in the deep. Among the huge Atlantic waves of bereavement, poverty, temptation, and reproach, we learn the power of The Most High, because we feel the littleness of man.
5. What we receive from disruptive moments depends upon how we respond – “Why this, The Most High?” you might ask. “Why now? Why not later? Why not someone else?” We all ask the WHY questions. They are a natural part of being human. But we can ask better questions – we can ask WHAT questions: “What The Most High?” What would You have me do? What are You trying to teach me?” Reflect upon the words of Psalm 71
In You, O LORD, I put my trust. . .
Incline Your ear to me, and save me.
Do not cast me off in the time of old age;
Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
O The Most High, make haste to help me. . .
You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,
Bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Sometimes we come to a life’s crossroads, and we view what we think is the end;

Get Better, Not Bitter
David could have quickly become bitter in his waiting. But, David doesn’t become bitter. Why? David knew that The Most High was using the process to bring about The Most High’s promise for him to be king.
Bitterness is unbelief in the promises of The Most High.
So, here’s what happens: People say, “But, I had faith, and The Most High didn’t do it.” And they’re frustrated because they thought The Most High said it would happen and it didn’t.
I had faith. This is a past-tense statement.
This is not how faith works. If you think you can have faith in a moment, and have your faith go away when nothing happens in that moment, it’s not faith at all.
Faith is what keeps you going until you see The Most High do what He has promised. Faith causes you to say, “I may not have seen it yet, but if The Most High promised it, I am sure I will!”
If you settle in your mind that you will go through a process that The Most High will use to bring about His promises, it will strengthen your faith. In result, you’ll get better instead of getting bitter.
Anointed, Not Appointed
One of the things that seems to hinder a lot of people when trying to trust the process, is that they mistake the anointing of The Most High for the appointing of The Most High.
David had the anointing to be king, but he didn’t yet have the appointment to be king. Sometimes, you can have an anointing on your life to do something, but not the appointing.
Think about this: David could see the anointing. Other people could see the anointing. When Samuel poured the oil over his head and anointed him as king, everyone was watching.
The anointing moment is where it can get tricky. You can see your anointing; you’re a better salesperson than anyone else, you’re a great singer, you have influence, you can counsel, you can lead! And other people can see it, too. They tell you how talented you are, how great you are, and how far you will go!
This can then cause you to think, “Well, I can see it, and others can see it, why can’t The Most High see it? What is The Most High waiting for?”
And through all of this, we get tunnel vision.
What’s tunnel vision? Tunnel vision happens when you are so focused on the light at the end of the tunnel that you can’t see what’s happening around you. Your eyes can’t adjust to your surroundings because all you can see is the light up ahead and so you miss things, or you find yourself tripping over things because you can’t see!
If you can’t see what The Most High is doing in and around you because you are focused on a future dream, you can miss out on a lot of learning experiences and opportunities along the way.
Preparation is Key
After his anointing, David’s appointment was to watch the sheep. Sometimes, we think that watching is just something we do to pass the time until we can do what we’re supposed to do, but that’s not the case. If you’re watching the sheep right now, you’re supposed to watch the sheep. That’s your appointment.
Here’s a third lesson: Preparation must come before the opportunity.
You Can Trust the Process
David goes back to tend the sheep, and what happens?
David Plays the Lyre
1 Samuel 16:14-19 says, Now the Spirit of the The Most High had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the The Most High tormented him. Saul’s attendants said to him, “See, an evil spirit from The Most High is tormenting you. Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from The Most High comes on you, and you will feel better.” So Saul said to his attendants, “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.” One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the The Most High is with him.” Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”
It was while David was tending the sheep that he developed his ability to play the lyre and write music. In fact, it was while David was tending the sheep that he wrote Psalm 19:1,
The heavens declare the glory of The Most High; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
The preparation had to come before the opportunity.
Then, fast forward to the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17.
David Kills Goliath
1 Samuel 17:32-36 says, And David said to Saul, “Let no man’s heart fail because of him. Your servant will go and fight with this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him, for you are but a youth, and he has been a man of war from his youth.” But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep sheep for his father. And when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb from the flock, I went after him and struck him and delivered it out of his mouth. And if he arose against me, I caught him by his beard and struck him and killed him. Your servant has struck down both lions and bears, and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them.”
Again, the preparation had to come before the opportunity.
If You Shortcut the Process, You Short-Circuit the Product!
David had to prepare. If he had never mastered the lyre, he never would have been chosen to play for Saul, and Saul wouldn’t have been familiar with him. If he had never killed the lion and the bear, Saul would not have let him face Goliath, and the Israelites wouldn’t have accepted David as king.
If David didn’t prepare, he would have squandered the opportunity. But he did, and it led to him becoming king!
You may be in a season of waiting. Maybe you have been waiting for a long time, and you are starting to wonder if The Most High will ever bring about His promise. The fact is: You can trust the process.
Let your faith be strengthened. Know that The Most High is preparing you today for what He wants to do through you in the future. He’s teaching you to trust him, to be bold in your faith, He’s growing your character, and He’s fine-tuning your gifts! Trust Him – the process is bringing about the promise!q

TRUST THE PROCESS
1 Samuel chapter 16
Today we are walking in: Trust The Process
Judges 9:15
And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust H2620 in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.
TRUST
Today we look to the word- TRUST- H2620- ḥāsâ- a primitive root; to flee for protection; figuratively, to confide in:—have hope, make refuge, (put) trust.
The Torah testifies………….
************
The Prophets proclaim………….
Isaiah 26:4
Trust H2620 ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Jeremiah 7:14
Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust H2620, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
Micah 7:5
Trust H2620 ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
The Writings witness…………...
Psalm 73:28
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust H2620 in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
Proverbs 28:25
He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust H2620 in the LORD shall be made fat.
Job 13:15
Though he slay me, yet will I trust H2620 in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
Trust the process
There are times when The Most High puts things in our hearts (dreams, aspirations, goals) and He gives them to us right away. There are other times, and this seems to be the majority, when The Most High puts things in our hearts and then makes us wait.
Often, we can wonder what The Most High is doing. We can begin to ask, “Did I really hear from The Most High?” Or perhaps the biggest question we can ask is, “The Most High, what is taking you so long?”
I have found that during those times of waiting, The Most High prepares us for His promise. During our waiting, He teaches us things. He grows our character, our faith, and our ability to do what we feel called to do. The Most High takes us through a process. The question is, “Will you trust the process?”
Fiveamprayer, Will You Trust the Process?
In 1 Samuel 16, The Most High came to Samuel and told him, “I’ve rejected Saul as king. Go to the tribe of Jesse where I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
Samuel was a prophet, but it didn’t take a prophet to assume that anointing another king while Saul was on the throne might not go well.
Samuel responded to The Most High and told him that he would be killed if Saul found out. The Most High then said, “Take a cow and put together a sacrifice to me and invite Jesse and his sons to the sacrifice.”
When Samuel arrived in Bethlehem to speak with Jesse, the elders in the town were afraid. After all, when a prophet appeared in those days, it meant there was trouble. Samuel told them, “Don’t worry. I’ve come to make a sacrifice to The Most High, and you are invited.”
Chosen By The Most High
Jesse, his sons, and the whole town showed up to watch the sacrifice. As Samuel watched Jesse’s sons arrive, he had a hunch about who The Most High had in mind for the new king: Eliab, the oldest son.
1 Samuel 16:6 says, “When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the The Most High’s anointed stands here before the The Most High.”
Samuel probably had his reasons for considering Eliab for the throne. He was the oldest and would have been first in line to receive his father’s inheritance. He was also probably the tallest and most physically fit out of Jesse’s sons. With all this to frame his thinking, Samuel thought Eliab was definitely the one The Most High had in mind.
1 Samuel 16:7 says, But the The Most High said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Most High does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but The Most High looks at the heart.”
So, one after the other, each of Jesse’s sons passed in front of Samuel.
How about this one? No.
This one? Nope.
This one? Nope.
Until all seven had passed in front of him.
Finally, Samuel asked Jesse, “Are there any more?!”
1 Samuel 16:11-12 says, “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”
So, Jesse sent for his youngest son, David, and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the The Most High said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”
The Process Brings the Promise
After reading about his anointing, I assume David takes the throne immediately. If this story was a movie, Saul would be instantly kicked off the throne, and David would be carried in on the shoulders of his people to begin ruling that day. But, that is not what happens. Samuel anoints David, and then the story stops. There’s a break in the story. You may ask, “What does that mean?”
When this part of the story ends, the Bible tells us that David went back to what he was doing before: watching the sheep.
There’s a part of us that wants to say, “Well, that doesn’t make any sense! Why would The Most High anoint him and then send him back to where he had him before? What was the point of anointing David anyway? Why not wait until He was ready to make David king?”
The Most High anointed David so long before he became king because The Most High wanted to take David through a process, and the anointing was a reminder of the promise that the process would bring.
Things Have To Change
A process is a series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.
The Most High knew that some things needed to happen in David’s life before he could be king. Likewise, there are some things that need to happen in our lives before we can step into what The Most High has for us.
When I think about processes, I’m reminded of a story I heard about the Chinese Bamboo Tree. The tree begins as a nut planted in soil and must be watered and fertilized every single day for five years before it finally breaks through the ground.
All that time, it spreads out its roots, and if at any time the watering or fertilizing process stops, the Chinese Bamboo Tree dies in the ground. But, in that fifth year, the Chinese Bamboo Tree finally breaks through the ground and grows to nearly ninety feet tall in just six weeks! The tree must take five long years of developing a strong, deep, wide root system so it doesn’t topple over when it is grown.
We tend to get frustrated when we don’t get five-year results immediately. The truth is, though, that the process is essential, and everyone must go through the process to get results.
The question is, will you allow the waiting to develop you or embitter you?

THE POWER OF DIRT PRAYERS IN THE EARTH
John chapter 5
Today we are walking in: The Power Of Dirt Prayers In The Earth!!!!
Genesis 23:11
Nay, my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people H5971 give I it thee: bury thy dead.
MY PEOPLE
Today we look to the word-MY PEOPLE- H5971 'am--nation, people persons, members of one's people, compatriots, country-men kinsman, kindred
The Torah testifies...............
Exodus 3:10
Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people H5971 the children of Israel out of Egypt.
The prophets proclaim..................
2 Samuel 7:10
Moreover I will appoint a place for my people H5971 Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
The writings bear witness...........................
Ruth 1:16
And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people H5971 shall be my people, H5971 and thy God my God:
GIVE The Most High THE PRAISE FOR THE POWER OF YOUR BODY! (If it is laid on the ALTAR OF INCENSE…REMEMBER?)
So go study John chapter 5 !
WHAT MAKES YOU DANGEROUS IS YOUR BODY. YOUR SANCTIFIED SACRED BODY this is the reason why it's necessary for you to PRAY 40 DAYS, 7 DAYS, 3 DAYS, 21 DAYS, 14 DAYS. THIS KIND OF SACRIFICE BRINGS CONSECRATION….PUTS YOUR DIRT BODY ONTO THE ALTAR OF INCENSE FOR YOU TO BE DELIVERED FROM ALL OF ITS CORRUPTION…IT EMPOWERS YOUR SPIRIT. GIVES YOUR SPIRIT AUTHORITY TO ASSUME AUTHORITY TO RULE
YOUR BODY, GIVES YOU BACK THE OWNERSHIP OF YOUR BODY, EACH FAST YOU ARE BECOMING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO The Most High. UNION, INTIMACY, PARTNERSHIP IN PRAYERS YOU ARE BECOMING DANGEROUS TO THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS SOME OF YOU WONDER WHY The Most High DOES NOT WANT YOU TO LOSE YOUR BODY! THAT'S BECAUSE The Most High NEEDS YOUR BODY(SANCTIFIED)!
THIS IS A BIG ONE SO LISTEN ATTENTIVELY….WHY DID The Most High PROVIDE HEALING (the answer for HIS REQUIRING OUR sanctification)? NOT FOR YOUR SAKE! FOR HIMSELF!
(He needs a sanctified body to stay and function here-in this world… He cannot live in a Corrupt body. He can only come upon them to do or say what he needs to and leave! Even the
Holy Spirit Leaves a corrupt body!)
WHY DID The Most High PROVIDE HEALING? NOT FOR YOUR SAKE!
FOR HIMSELF! WHY WOULD The Most High BRING YOU BACK FROM THE DEAD (salvation) AND HEAL YOUR BONES AND MUSCLES? WHY WOULD The Most High TAKE CANCER OUT OF YOUR GUT AND FIX YOUR LIVER? IT AIN'T FOR YOU! THIS IS WHY MANY PEOPLE WHO GET SICK DON'T GET HEALED BECAUSE THEY WANT TO GET HEALED FOR THEMSELVES!!
LIFT YOUR HAND UP....SAY LORD!!! HEAL ME FOR YOUR SAKE! YOU NEED THIS BODY! SO HEAL ME NOW! HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, DIABETES, CANCER, SINUS, WHATEVER CANNOT TAKE THIS BODY! YOU NEED THIS BODY!! I RECEIVE YOUR HEALING NOW!!!!
STAND UP, GIVE HIM PRAISE AND RECEIVE THAT HEALING RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF YAHUSHA HaMaschiah!
THIS IS WHY YOU PRAY FOR HEALING!! THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU, IT’S ABOUT The Most High!
HE NEEDS YOU (sanctified!) THIS IS WHY HE SAYS, YOU MUST KEEP ON PRAYING (because praying is self-sacrificing...death to your Flesh)!! YOU STOP PRAYING, YOU SHUT HEAVEN DOWN!!!
HE SAID, WHATSOEVER YOU BIND (constrict, CHAIN, HAMPER, RESTRAIN, RESTRICT, TIE UP) ON EARTH; THEN HEAVEN CAN BIND IT! WHATSOEVER YOU LOOSE (FREE, LIBERATE, RELEASE, UNLOCK, UNRESTRAINED, UNRESTRICTED, UNSHACKLE, UNTIE) ON EARTH, THEN HEAVEN CAN LOOSE IT!!!
SOMEBODY GIVE The Most High A BIG SHOUT TODAY. (GO AND GET YOUR POWER BACK....!!)
THEN THE LORD QUICKENED ME TO THE REVELATION HE GAVE REGARDING YESUA'S 40 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING HOW THE DEVIL TEMPTED HIM THROUGHOUT AND THE MAGNANIMOUS END RESULT!!
Fasting is self-sacrificing, death to your flesh. Luke 4:1-14. When YAHUSHA went on the fast He was led by The Holy Spirit to the fast. Revelation~~~ you must be led by The Most High or the fast is in the flesh. He was led into the wilderness which is isolation from the world proving that the world had no power over Him. You have to isolate yourself from friends, things, etc., to hear from The Most High it is a SACRIFICE!! HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT The Most High? You have to remain intimate with the Lord during this time. Everyday HE, YAHUSHA was on the fast the devil tempted Him. The devil is our own minds, will and emotions, and who knows us better than our own mind. At the end of the 40 days the devil came himself to tempt YAHUSHA. He wanted YAHUSHA to distrust the Father and His sovereignty to place His trust in temporal thing. BUT HE COULD NOT SUCCEED BECAUSE YAHUSHA’S BODY WAS SACRED, PURE. THIS IS WHY The Most High IS INSISTING YOU MUST BE SANCTIFIED. HE NEEDS OUR SANCTIFIED BODIES. When the fasting and temptation had come to an end for this season period of forty days and nights. YAHUSHA returned to Galilee full of power to begin His mission. You ARE ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH to accomplish your mission after you have fasted and prayed. PAID THE PRICE PROVEN YOUR SONSHIP YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO The Most High!!! GIVE HIM A PRAISE FOR MAKING YOU SO IMPORTANT!!! COME ON CLAP YOUR HANDS AND SHOUT TO THE MOST HIGH!!!! YOU ARE HIS SECRET WEAPON!!!! YOU ARE HIS BATTLE AXE! YOU ARE HIS AUTHORITY ON EARTH! YOU ARE The Most High'S SECRET WEAPON!
PRAY O LORD HAVE MERCY, I'M ABOUT TO EXPLODE HERE!!! SOMEBODY EXPLODE WITH ME!!! GIVE HIM PRAISE!!! GIVE HIM GLORY!!! COME ON STOP BEING PROUD – LIFT YOUR HANDS AND PRAISE HIM!!!!
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!!! PRAY ALL KINDS OF PRAYERS AND SUPPLICATIONS!!!! PRAY!!! HE NEEDS YOU TO PRAY!!!! YOU WILL LIVE LONG BECAUSE OF THE REVELATION OF THIS MESSAGE! YOUR DISEASE WILL GO AWAY NOW BECAUSE OF THIS MESSAGE!! YOU ARE GOING TO OVERCOME CANCER, YOU ARE GOING TO OVERCOME DIABETES, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, ETC!! BECAUSE HE NEEDS YOUR BODY!!!! (FATHER, SILENCE ALL LUSTS, VANITIES, PRIDE, SELFISHNESS AND TAKE THOSE WICKEDNESS OUT OF YOUR CHILDREN’S HEARTS, PLUS THE LUSTFUL DESIRES OF THEIR DIRT BODIES... OUT FROM THEIR HEARTS FATHER!!!
SO THAT THEY CAN COME INTO YOUR MANIFEST PRESENCE!!!!) YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE AND NOT DIE!!! WHEN YOU GRASP THIS MESSAGE THEN YOU WILL LAY DOWN YOUR BODY ON THE ALTAR OF INCENSE, SO THAT YOU CAN BE TOTALLY CRUCIFIED IN THIS FAST TO GO THROUGH THE DOOR - YAHUSHA'S SACRED BODY INTO THE SPIRITUAL MANIFEST PRESENCE OF YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!!
THIS IS WHAT 40 DAYS OF FASTING AND PRAYER IN ISOLATION – if possible - WILL ACCOMPLISH FOR YOU!!!!
HE'S ABOUT TO CHANGE YOUR HOUSEHOLD! YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT…not for demons.
I FEEL SOME MIRACLES GOING ON RIGHT NOW. JUST RECEIVE YOUR HEALING!!! PROSTATE CANCER GET OUT!!!! BREAST CANCER GET OUT!!!! HE HEALS YOU FOR HIS OWN SAKE BECAUSE HE NEEDS YOUR BODY!!!
LIFT YOUR HANDS AND THANK HIM FOR HEALING YOU FROM THE CROWN OF YOUR HEAD TO THE SOLES OF YOUR FEET!!!! COME ON JUST THANK HIM! WHATEVER DISEASE YOU HAD AND WAS UNAWARE OF HE HAS TAKEN AWAY FROM YOU, BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS REVELATION.
HE NEEDS YOUR BODY START PRAYING ALLOW YOUR SPIRIT TO PRAY AND REJOICE IN The Most High YOUR SAVIOUR FOR HE THAT IS WORTHY IS MOVING AMONG YOU DOING GREAT THINGS NOW AND HOLY IS HIS NAME. GIVE HIM PRAISE LIFT YOUR HANDS AND GLORIFY THE The Most High WHO MADE YOU HIS SECRET WEAPON!!!!
NOW YOU KNOW WHY HE NEEDS YOU!!!! KEEP ON PRAYING!!! THANK YOU YAHUSHA! THANK YOU YAHUSHA! O GLORY TO YOUR NAME!!! PRESERVE ME FOR YOURSELF, FATHER!!
THE PRESENCE OF The Most High IS HERE WORKING SO MUCH NOW!!
I WANT TO CLOSE NOW YAHUSHA HaMaschiah LEGAL AND HE WALKED THE EARTH FOR 33 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS! HE WAS LEGAL, The Most High WAS LEGAL BECAUSE HE HAD A SACRED BODY! BUT HE KNEW THAT HE HAD TO GIVE THAT BODY UP! HaMaschiah KNEW THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO RELEASE YAHUSHA!
SO YAHUSHA TOOK HaMaschiah TO THE CRUCIFIXION STAKE. AND YAHUSHA DIED, NOT HaMaschiah. AND BEFORE YAHUSHA DIED, HE HAD A TALK WITH HaMaschiah! HE SAID TO HaMaschiah, DON'T FORSAKE ME.
YOU PROMISED THAT IF I LAY MYSELF DOWN, YOU ARE GOING TO COME BACK TO GET ME. AND I HEAR HaMaschiah TELLING YAHUSHA. I'LL BE BACK IN 3 DAYS TO GET YOU. WHY? BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH I AM GOING TO DIE, MY WORK IS NOT FINISHED. AND I STILL NEED YOU TO KEEP ME LEGAL. BECAUSE I HAVE TO COME BACK TO CREATE THE CHURCH. THE BIBLE SAYS; AND YAHUSHA DIED.
NOT HaMaschiah! HaMaschiah LEFT THE BODY OF YAHUSHA, HE WENT DOWN INTO HADES, WENT TO GEHENNA, HE WENT DOWN INTO SHEOL, INTO THE DEPTHS OF HELL, HE WALKS UP TO THE DEVIL HE GRABS HIM BY HIS BELT AND HE YANKED THE 3 KEYS HANGING ON HIS BELT--DEATH, HELL AND THE GRAVE. HE TOLD THE DEVIL I'LL BE BACK FOR YOU LATER!!!!!
SO, I, ENCOURAGE YOU TO STOP WORRYING, DOUBTING, ARGUING WITH The Most High, QUESTIONING The Most High, BRACE YOURSELF...PAY THE PRICE. ALLOW The Most High TO LEAD YOU THROUGH SOME HARD STUFF, BUT YOU MUST BE HOLDING ON TO The Most High'S WORD, HIS PROMISE TO YOU IN THAT SITUATION. BECAUSE FIRST THE SUFFERING, THEN THE GLORY. YOU HAVE TO BE SANCTIFIED, DELIVERED FROM ALL YOUR WEAKNESSES. QUICK TO GIVE UP, RUNNING TO MEN OR TO THE WAYS OF THIS WORLD TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS or TO FIND SOLUTIONS. WHICH IS YOU RUNNING INTO THE CLUTCHES OF THE EVIL AND EVENTUALLY, THE VERY SAME The Most High YOU WERE RUNNING FROM, AFTER YOU HAVE PAID THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR BAD BEHAVIOUR. YOUR ONLY LOVING The Most High WILL COME BACK TO
SAVE YOU FROM YOURSELF, YOUR RASH DEVILISH INFLUENCE that came upon you through your arrogance or fears OR The Most High SENDING HIS SACRED SERVANT TO PULL YOU OUT FROM DROWNING!
YOU MUST DETERMINE TO GO THROUGH HARD PLACES WITH YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER TO KNOW THE VALUE OF YOUR The Most High AND TO EXPERIENCE HIS SALVATION POWERS WHICH HE HAS GIVEN TO YOU, AS WELL AS TO GET TO KNOW HIM PERSONALLY. LIFE IS NOT EASY! WITH The Most High OR WITH THE DEVIL! BUT I'D RATHER GO THROUGH HARDSHIP WITH The Most High THAT GIVES LIBERATION, RESTORATION AND VICTORIES AT THE END... THAN TO BE LURED AND DECEIVED BY THE DEVIL INTO PERPETUAL INCREASING DARKNESS!
THE LORD KNOWS THE WAY THAT I TAKE AND WHEN HE HAS TRIED ME, HE WILL BRING ME OUT AS PURE GOLD! Remember this Scripture? His promise to those that DARE TO BELIEVE HIM, PUT THEIR TRUST IN HIS SOVEREIGNTY OVER EVERYTHING!
HE HAS EVEN CHALLENGED US IN THE SCRIPTURES SAYING; "PUT ME TO THE TEST!"
OUR Most High IS THE MOST HIGH ALMIGHTY-- Remember?! NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM!
I PRAY FOR YOU THAT YOU LEARN TO WAIT IN HIS GLORIOUS PRESENCE TO EXPERIENCE HIS AWESOME LOVE FOR YOU AND HIS POWER! REST! HE SAYS, IN ME. ENTER YOUR REST!
AFTER YOU HAVE DONE ALL THAT I HAVE INSTRUCTED YOU TO DO STAND. THIS VICTORY DEPENDS ON ME, MY PROMISE TO YOU! I WILL BRING IT TO PASS! WOW! THANK YOU WONDERFUL YAHUSHA HAMACHIACH! THANK YOU GRACIOUS LORD! KEEP US STEADFAST IN YOU ALWAYS, MY LORD! ALL PRAISES TO THE MOST HIGH YAH!!!!!

THE POWER OF DIRT PRAYERS IN THE EARTH
John Chapter 5
Today we are walking in: The Power Of Dirt Prayers In The Earth
Exodus 16:4
Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law H2706, or no.
LAW
Today we look to the word LAW-- H2706-choq-- statute, ordinance, limit, something prescribed, due, prescribed task, prescribed portion, action prescribed (for oneself), resolve, prescribed due, prescribed limit, boundary, enactment, decree, ordinance, specific decree, law in general, enactments, statutes, conditions, enactments, decrees, civil enactments prescribed by Yah
The Torah testifies...............
Genesis 26:5
Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. H8451
Exodus 16:28
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? H8451
Exodus 24:12
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law H2706, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
The prophets proclaim..................
Ezekiel 22:26
Her priests have violated my law H2706, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Hosea 8:1
Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. H8451
Micah 4:2
And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law H8451 shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
The writings bear witness............
2 Chronicles 33:8
Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law H2706 and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
Psalm 78:5
For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law H8451 in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, H8451 happy is he.
SO, HERE ARE THE LAWS OF PRAYER:
#1, FIRST LAW OF PRAYER...THE LEGAL AUTHORITY ON EARTH IS IN THE HANDS OF HUMUS MAN! YOU'VE GOT IT! HE GAVE IT TO YOU!!
#2, The Most High WILL NEVER VIOLATE THE LAW OF HIS WORD
#3, NOTHING WILL AND CAN HAPPEN ON EARTH WITHOUT MANKIND'S COOPERATION! THIS IS WHY The Most High NEEDS YOU TO PRAY!!! HE NEEDS YOU TO PRAY SO HE CAN KEEP WORKING IN THIS WORLD! IF YOU STOP PRAYING, HEAVEN SHUTS DOWN!!! THIS IS WHY YAHUSHA BEGGED US, HE SAID; "MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO BE PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING!" WHY? BECAUSE IF YOU EVER STOP, HEAVEN SHUTS DOWN!
Here is a Verse that you never understood; now you are going
to understand it. "WHEREVER ANY TWO OF YOU (THAT ARE SANCTIFIED), watch me now, HE SAYS, COME TOGETHER AND AGREE CONCERNING ANYTHING ON THE EARTH, THEN IT CAN BE DONE BY YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN!!!” IF YOU STOP PETITIONING The Most High, The Most High STOPS WORKING IN THIS WORLD!!!! THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!!!
WHAT IS PRAYER (HOLY COMMUNION, CONVERSATION)? GIVING The Most High PERMISSION TO INTERFERE IN EARTH'S AFFAIRS.
#4, The Most High CANNOT INTERFERE IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT THE COOPERATION OF A HUMAN
#5, MANKIND HOLDS THE POWER OF LICENSE ON EARTH! YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY! The Most High'S GOT THE POWER, BUT YOU'VE GOT THE AUTHORITY!
Okay, let me share something with you that you probably did not appreciate!
Read John chapter 5, *four* times!
IN THAT CHAPTER, YAHUSHA EXPLAINS THIS ENTIRE SCENARIO. IN THAT CHAPTER, REMEMBER THAT THE PHARISEES AND SCRIBES CAME TO YAHUSHA BECAUSE HE HAD JUST FINISHED WORKING SO MANY MIRACLES! HE HEALED THE SICK, HE RAISED THE DEAD, HE CAST OUT DEMONS, HE CLEANSED THE LEPER, HE RAISED THE YOUNG GIRL FROM THE DEAD. HE WAS JUST WORKING MIRACLES THAT WHOLE DAY, HE WAS WORKING HARD! THEY WERE SO SHOCKED!
SO THEY ASKED HIM, IN CHAPTER 5 OF THE BOOK OF JOHN, BY WHAT AUTHORITY watch the Words now BY WHAT AUTHORITY DO YOU DO THESE MIRACLES? THAT'S WHAT THEY ASKED HIM! What was the word? AUTHORITY!
NOT POWER, AUTHORITY! HE ANSWERED {Major Key} I ONLY DO WHAT I SEE MY FATHER DO! WHO IS YAHUSHA? A SACRED HUMAN WITH The Most High ON THE INSIDE!
SO HE'S LEGAL! Now watch this HE SAID, “I ONLY DO WHAT I SEE MY FATHER DO! MY FATHER WORKS, SO I WORK!” {KEY}HE THINKS IT, I MANIFEST IT!!! Now watch Him HE SAID, AND YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET, HE SAYS BECAUSE, THE TIME IS COMING SOON WHEN YOU WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN IN ALL OF HIS GLORY!
SON OF MAN VERY IMPORTANT STATEMENT....YAHUSHA USED TWO TERMS TO DESCRIBE HIMSELF...SON OF The Most High AND SON OF MAN.
TWO VERY DIFFERENT TERMS!
SON OF The Most High MEANS, THIS IS THE The Most High SIDE OF ME! SON OF MAN MEANS, THIS IS THE DIRT SIDE OF ME! AND, THE DIRT SIDE MAKES THE The Most High SIDE LEGAL! SO THEY ARE ASKING HIM, WHAT AUTHORITY?
THIS AUTHORITY IS GIVEN TO THE HUMAN SIDE so now watch HIM HE SAID (it's there in your Bible--go read your Bibles it will bless you). HE SAID THE REASON WHY I CAN DO THESE MIRACLES IS NOT BECAUSE I AM THE SON OF The Most High, that's in that chapter WHY? THE SON OF The Most High IS ILLEGAL!! HE SAYS; I DO THESE MIRACLES BECAUSE I AM THE SON OF MAN. I HAVE THE SACRED PHYSICAL BODY, I'VE GOT THE AUTHORITY TO DO THEM! I HAVE THE LICENSE
TO DO THEM!

THE POWER OF DIRT PRAYERS IN THE EARTH
Exodus chapter 4
Today we are walking in: The Power Of Dirt Prayers In The Earth
2 Samuel 22:21
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness H6663: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
RIGHTEOUSNESS
Today we look to the word RIGHTEOUSNESS--H6663 tsadaq -- Justify, Righteous, Just, Justice, Cleansed, Clear Ourselves, Righteousness
The Torah testifies.........……
Deuteronomy 6:25
And it shall be our righteousness H6663, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness H6663 is of me, saith the Lord.
The writings bear witness............
Proverbs 11:5
The righteousness H6663 of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
PRAYER IS MAN GIVING The Most High PERMISSION TO INTERFERE IN EARTH'S AFFAIRS!!
And when Lot came out, The Most High said Abe(now they are buddies, FRIENDS...are you catching this!!), can I do it now? Abe said; "GO FOR IT BROTHER I'M GONE!!!" AND The Most High WENT POWSSSSHHH!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! AND HE BURN THE CITY UP!!! You turn the pages of the Bible, you'd meet another guy. The Most High SAYS I HAVE HEARD THE CRIES OF THE EGYPTIANS HURTING THE ISRAELITES I WANT TO COME DOWN TO DELIVER THEM (Did you get that? The Most High said "I want to come down) to deliver the here is The Most High ASKING FOR PERMISSION! BUT I CANNOT DO IT BECAUSE I AM A SPIRIT.
I NEED A HUMAN TO GAVE ME PERMISSION I NEED A HUMAN TO GIVE ME PERMISSION!! THIS WAS MOSES' COMMISSION!!! THIS IS WHAT The Most High NEEDED MOSES FOR!!!
I NEED A HUMAN TO GIVE ME PERMISSION!! REMEMBER MOSES WAS CALLED UP ONTO THE MOUNTAIN TO MEET WITH THE MOST HIGH FOR FORTY DAYS AND FORTY NIGHTS OF FASTING AND PRAYERS…DURING WHICH TIME, HE WAS CONSECRATED FOR THIS JOB TO BE DONE BY The Most High USING HIS SANCTIFIED BODY! THIS WAS MOSES' COMMISSION!!! THIS IS WHAT The Most High NEEDED MOSES FOR!! Dr. Myles paraphrasing again. SO The Most High CALLS MOSES AND HE SAYS, MOSES LOOK, I WANT TO DO SOMETHING, BUT I CANNOT COME IN WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION!! I WANT TO SET THE ISRAELITES FREE!
WILL YOU DO BUSINESS WITH ME??? (IF YOU GRASP THIS!!! YOUR PRAYER LIFE WILL CHANGE, YOUR ZEAL TO BE MADE PURE LIKE YAHUSHA'S BODY WILL CONSUME YOU!! THE PERSPECTIVE OF YOUR PRAYING POSITION WILL CHANGE. THE LORD JUST SAID TO ME TELL THEM!!)
Perspective - the truths I have just received regarding my Praying relation With The Lord. The fact of seeing all the relevant data in this powerful relationship! RELATIVE IMPORTANCE SO The Most High CALLS MOSES AND HE SAYS, MOSES LOOK, I WANT TO DO SOMETHING, BUT I CANNOT COME IN WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION!!! I WANT TO SET THE ISRAELITES FREE!
WILL YOU DO BUSINESS WITH ME??? And Moses started arguing, he started telling The Most High, I'm from the wrong family, I ain't got the right colour of skin, I can't talk. The Most High SAID to him, WILL YOU JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH MAN, I'VE GOT TO USE SOMEBODY!!! I'VE GOT TO GET ANY HUMAN, JUST A HUMAN TO LET ME DO THIS!!!
YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR POWER!!! WHY COULDN'T The Most High JUST GO IN AND SET THEM FREE BY HIMSELF!!! ILLEGAL! AND YOU WONDER WHY The Most High TOLERATES YOU? Tell your neighbor I GOT THE POWER, I GOT THE AUTHORITY!!!. This is why The Most High still works with you! With all of your foolishness, HE still works with you WHY? BECAUSE YOU'VE GOT A BODY! And The Most High says Moses, please quickly agree with ME then Moses FINALLY says, in chapter 4 of Exodus; OKAY LORD, LET'S DO IT AND The Most High SAYS OK, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, LET'S GO!!! NOW, IF YOU FOLLOW THE STORY CAREFULLY, (KEY} The Most High DID NOTHING WITHOUT MOSES ANNOUNCING IT, SPEAKING IT OUT, DECLARING IT OUT FIRST!!! I Pray that you caught this major insightful point! Have you ever read about how the Red Sea was opened? They, The Israelites were there in the wilderness, Pharaoh's army is coming behind them, the Red Sea in front of them, one million people getting ready to die! Then Moses says to the people, DO NOT BE AFRAID, I PROMISE YOU THAT BEFORE THE SUN SETS, EVERY EGYPTIAN YOU SEE CHASING US WILL BE DEAD! {KEY} THEN MOSES RAN BEHIND THE BUSH AND SAID TO The Most High, DID YOU HEAR WHAT I TOLD THEM! THIS IS THE KEY! (When we pronounce He ACTS HIS POWER ACCOMPANIES OUR PRONOUNCEMENTS.)
MOSES RAN AFTER MAKING HIS DESPERATE PRONOUNCEMENT TO THE PEOPLE TO GIVE THEM CONFIDENCE AND TO KEEP THEM CALM (imagine one million people losing their composure on you in this do-or-die chaotic situation!!!)
EVEN THOUGH, HE TOO WAS TERRIBLY AFRAID HE CONTAINED HIS FEARS HE DID NOT ALLOW THEM TO SEE HIS WEAKNESS HE WAS SO AFRAID HE SWITCHED AWARENESS. MOSES SWITCHED INTO HIS SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS, WENT INSIDE AND SAID TO The Most High, The Most High DID YOU HEAR WHAT I TOLD THEM!!! The Most High SAID, YES, I HEARD EVERYTHING YOU SAID! The Most High RESPONDS, NOW GO AHEAD AND DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID! BECAUSE YOU ARE THE HUMAN-Authority AND, I AM THE MOST HIGH The Most High–THE ALMIGHTY POWER!
(KEY}•IF YOU SAY KILL THEM THE WICKED EGYPTIANS, I WILL KILL THEM!
SO THEN MOSES STANDS UP ON A ROCK WITH A PIECE OF WOOD. NOW, The Most High CANNOT OPEN THE WATER WITHOUT A HUMANS PERMISSION. SO The Most High SAYS {KEY), MOSES, LIFT YOUR ROD TOWARDS THE SEA, HE SAID, NOW SAY OPEN. MOSES SAYS OPEN!!! (Now, Please observe carefully, the instant PARTNERSHIP COOPERATION, MOSES DID NOT START ARGUING, MAN, WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT, HOW DO YOU EXPECT THIS GIGANTIC SEA TO OPEN HE OBEYED INSTANTLY, BECAUSE HE KNEW FROM WHOM THE INSTRUCTION WAS COMING And he also knew, many lives were at stake). Unlike how some of us who would have allowed satan, the Devil to manipulate our reasoning minds in the HEAT of that instance TO DOUBT The Most High, QUESTION HIS INTEGRITY, HIS SOVEREIGNTY which would have brought mayhem down. Then, we would also by the influence of the devil, blame it on The Most High, then start thinking and allowing the devil to STILL influence us again thinking in our minds. IT'S NO USE SERVING THIS The Most High, I AM GOING BACK TO FUNCTIONING BY MYSELF. I cannot handle all of this crazy stress and responsibility, UNKNOWINGLY going STRAIGHT BACK INTO THE DEVIL’S STRONGHOLD, CAPTIVITY…where THE LORD SALVAGED US FROM!) NO BOLDNESS IN The Most High, NO VICTORY!!
THEN The Most High SAYS THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND The Most High BLOWS THE SEA OPEN!!! THE PEOPLE WALKED THROUGH THE SEA ON DRY GROUND and, read your Bible carefully, IT says, WHEN THEY WERE ALL ON THE OTHER SIDE, THE WATER WAS STILL OPEN!!! THEN PHARAOH AND HIS ARMY JUMPED IN RIGHT BEHIND, PURSUING THEM!!! COMING TO KILL THEM STILL!!!
AND MOSES WAS WONDERING, WHY THE WATER ISN'T CLOSING AND The Most High SAYS, I CANT CLOSE IT WITHOUT PERMISSION!!! This is written in The Bible!! SO THE BIBLE SAYS, MOSES TURNED AROUND, LIFTED UP HIS ROD AND SAID, CLOSE!! The Most High SAID THANK YOU!!!
POP!! EVERYBODY DEAD!!! GIVE The Most High A HAND CLAP!!! HE NEEDS YOU! HE NEEDS YOU!
HE NEEDS YOU, sanctified!!!!

THE BENEFITS OF KINGDOM CITIZENSHIP
John chapter 15
Today we are walking in: The Benefits Of Kingdom Citizenship
Numbers 24:7
He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom H4467 shall be exalted.
KINGDOM
Today we look to the word-KINGDOM- H4467 mamlâkâh, (mam-law-kaw') -dominion, (abstractly) the estate (rule) or (concretely) the country (realm):—kingdom, king's, reign, royal
The Torah testifies...............
Exodus 19:6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, H4467 and of them that oppressed you:
Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Jeremiah 18:9
And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom H4467, to build and to plant it;
The writings bear witness...........................
You are a citizen of a country on Earth, and I hope you are a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Remember that your citizenship does not mean only that the government is responsible for taking care of you, but that you have a responsibility to the government as well. It is a two-way street, and the traffic goes both ways. Just as it is for you as a citizen of your earthly country, so also in the Kingdom of Yah are you held accountable to the government by means of its constitution, in this case, the Bible. You can be a much happier and more productive citizen when you understand your responsibilities. Sad to say, many people do not want to shoulder their responsibilities. They are glad Yah has saved them, but they do not necessarily want to obey Him. They do not understand that their obedience is a way of expressing their appreciation. Yahashua Hamashiach Himself put it concisely: “If you love Me, keep My commandments”. They also fail to acknowledge that the rights that they enjoy as citizens, while they cannot be earned because they have been given as privileges, must be maintained through simple obedience to the laws of the land. Are you with me? So, When you become a citizen of a country, the laws of that country automatically become your laws. As you submit to those laws, you submit to the authority of the government. Listen to me! By submitting to the laws, you are free to remain in the country for a long time, to move around the country for pleasure or business, and to enjoy the protections and privileges of citizenship. You Break even one of those laws, however, and your freedoms will be curtailed. If you have transgressed in a significant way, you may be incarcerated in prison. You may be deprived of your passport. You may be required to go through a long process before you can be reinstated as a free citizen. Jails are filled with irresponsible citizens who did not take responsibility for keeping the law. Citizenship manifests the contract between the government and the people. The key to enjoying the privileges that come with citizenship is personal obedience to the laws of the country. So these are the facts, if you are part of the country called the Kingdom of Heaven: You are a citizen with legal rights to benefit from the constitution of Yah. You have personal rights and authority to exercise your power as a citizen through alignment with constitutional law. What I just said is the clincher. The secret to wielding authority in the Kingdom is aligning yourself with the laws of the country, in other words, obedience. You obey Yah for the sake of your life here and now. This is the Kingdom lifestyle, and maintaining it is your responsibility. Authority is a good thing, and you never outgrow your need for it. Can you imagine a plant saying this to the soil? “That is enough. You have been holding me down for all these years. I’m out of here, and I am taking my root with me.” What would happen if a plant did that? It would die, sooner than later. The absence of authority brings self-destruction. Just like Fish were created to submit to water. If a fish decides to move out from under its authority, you do not need to punish it, because it will die. The safest place for the fish to be is submitted. Surely you have seen a fish out of water. It gasps and flips and flops, trying as hard as it can to get back into water. I know people like that. They try this and that and wonder why nothing is working. When young people leave home too early, life can be very tough for a long time. It is the same principle. It is time to get back under authority. Part of submission to authority is patience. When we fly, sometimes I listen to the pilot talking on the radio. That man needs to be completely submitted to authority. If the control tower tells him he cannot land yet, he goes into a holding pattern. His flight plan is very specific. He cannot deviate from it twelve inches in any direction without getting permission. He may not be able to see any other aircraft around him, but the people in the tower can see all of them, coming and going. The authorities over us keep us from crashing into each other if we obey their directives. Freedom has boundaries, always. In the Kingdom, if the King says, “You are free to eat from any other tree, but do not eat from this tree,” He has good reasons. Disobedience is not the best way to find out about the repercussions. We like to be around powerful people, but we need to ask ourselves, “Is this person’s power under authority?” Power combines ability and energy and force, while authority is the right and permission to use that power. Authority is the right to use power effectively, not because you could, but because you should. Authority makes power legal. This is so good I hope you’re getting it. So, authority is more important than power. Teenagers may have the power to leave home, but they do not yet have the authority to leave. A person may be very aggressive and loud in speaking, but if they do not have authority, their words will not carry weight.Submission to authority is what makes a person effective. One time a military officer came to see Yahashua on behalf of his servant who was lying at home, paralyzed and suffering. Yahashua was willing to accompany him to his home in order to help the servant, but the man declined his offer. The centurion said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. When Yahusha heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And Yahusha said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Notice how the centurion addressed Yahashua. He called him “Lord,” which indicates that he honored His authority. “Lord” is a legal term, not a religious term. It means “owner”. In that culture, you would use that word for king. The centurion’s military experience gave him a more complete understanding of the way authority works. He was completely submitted to the Roamn emperor and any other commanders who ranked above him. He had at least a hundred soldiers who reported directly to him (The title “centurion” is related to the word “century”, which indicates one hundred.) Probably he has been watching Yahshua as he worked in the village. He may have seen Him healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons. Obviously, this man knew Yahashua had power. Obviously some higher authority was guiding Him. He knew that a person’s performance depended upon his obedience to the instructions he had been given. Stay with me. So he made the leap from his natural observation to faith and Yahashua was impressed with that, declaring that the servant was already being healed, and commending the centurion to the people around them. A distance away, the paralyzed servant got up from his mat, healed and whole, without Yahashua ever having had to make the trip to his house. If any of us want to experience Yah’s best for our lives, we must get positioned properly which is to say under authority and our entraties will be heard and answered.
