INCREASE IS A TEST PART 1
Matthew chapter 4
Today we are walking in: INCREASE IS A TEST PART 1
Genesis 1:29
And God said, Behold, I have given H5414 you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
GIVE
Today we look to the word-GIVE- H5414 nathan-- to give, grant, permit, ascribe, dedicate, pay wages, entrust, give over, deliver up, yield produce, report
The Torah testifies...............
Deuteronomy 3:18
And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given H5414 you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.
The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 40:29
He giveth H5414 power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
The writings bear witness...........................
Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give H5414 grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
INCREASE IS A TEST PART 1
Let me begin tonight by establishing a law, because everything in life functions by laws. Until you understand this, you will keep praying about things Yah has already legislated. Prayer does not replace principle. Faith does not cancel law, and sincerity does not override structure.
The greatest tragedy in life is not lack of money. It is ignorance of how money works in the kingdom of Yah. Write this down carefully: money is not spiritual, but it is governed by spiritual laws. The kingdom of Yah is not mystical. It is governmental, and every government operates an economy.
When Yahusha came to earth, he did not come preaching heaven after death. He came preaching a kingdom that had arrived. The Bible says in Mattithyahu 4:17, “From that time Yahusha began to preach and to say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’” That word repent does not mean cry or beg. It means change your mind. In other words, Yahusha was saying, “Change the way you think because the system has changed.”
Most believers are saved but economically confused. They love Yah, but they still think like the world. They quote scriptures, but they live by fear. They trust Yah with their soul, but not with their supply. And the reason is simple: they have mixed two economies. Yahusha said in Mattithyahu 6:24, “No man can serve two masters.” That includes economic masters. You cannot depend on Yah while thinking like Pharaoh.
Let me make a bold statement, and I want you to write it down because it will disturb you before he delivers you. Yah never promised you money. He promised you provision. Philippians 4:19 does not say, “My Yah shall supply all your money.” It says, “My Yah shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory.” Needs are met by access, not ownership. Riches are not stored in your account. They are stored in the government that backs you.
The problem with modern Christianity is that we equate security with possession. We feel safe when we can touch it, count it, and store it. But the kingdom of Yah does not operate on storage. It operates on supply. Yahusha never told his disciples to save bread. He taught them to trust the Father. In fact, he said in Mattithyahu 6:11, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Not monthly bread, not retirement bread, daily bread. Why? Because dependence is the currency of the kingdom.
Hear me carefully. Savings is a tool, but it is not a source. When your savings becomes your confidence, you have shifted your faith from Yah to numbers. Mishlei 18:11 says, “The rich man’s wealth is his strong city and as a high wall in his own conceit.” In other words, wealth creates a false sense of protection. And Yah is very careful about anything that replaces him as your source.
The kingdom of Yah is built on access, not ownership. Ownership produces fear because you are responsible for protecting it. Access produces peace because the source is responsible for supplying it. Tehilliym 24:1 declares, “The earth is Yahuah’s and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.” If Yah owns everything, then what exactly are you afraid of losing? You cannot lose what you do not own. You can only lose alignment.
This is why Yahusha shocked his audience when he said in Mattithyahu 6:19-20, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” He was not condemning preparation. He was confronting misplaced trust. Heaven is not a location. It is a government. To lay up treasure in heaven means to invest in the system that governs supply.
Let me say this plainly, and I want you to hear it with your spirit, not your culture. Poverty is not spiritual, and wealth is not evil, but independence from Yah is rebellion. Yah is not against abundance. He is against self-sufficiency. Devariym 8:18 says, “But thou shalt remember Yahuah thy Yah. For it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.” Power to get wealth means the ability, the ideas, the access, the connections, the favor, not piles of cash power.
The kingdom of Yah does not promise comfort. It promises coverage. It does not promise luxury. It promises sufficiency for assignment. And until you understand this, you will keep asking Yah to bless plans he never authorized. Provision follows purpose. Write that down. Provision follows purpose. When you are aligned with divine assignment, heaven is obligated to supply what that assignment requires.
Yahusha said something very dangerous in Mattithyahu 6:33. “But seek ye first the kingdom of Yah and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Notice the order. Seek first the kingdom, not money, not security, not stability, and then things are added. Added means you didn’t chase them. They came because you were aligned.
So tonight, I am not here to teach you how to get money. I am here to teach you how to stop needing it as a god. Because the moment Yah becomes your source, money becomes a servant. And when money becomes a servant, it stops controlling your emotions, your decisions, and your destiny.
The greatest economic breakthrough in your life will not come from a raise, an investment, or a miracle offering. It will come from a mindset shift, when you move from ownership to stewardship, from storage to supply, from fear to faith, from independence to dependence on the kingdom of Yah. And until that shift happens, no amount of prayer will fix what misunderstanding has broken.
Now, before we can go any further, we must define our terms because confusion in life always begins with wrong definitions. If you define a thing incorrectly, you will abuse it unintentionally. And the reason many believers are frustrated financially is not because Yah has failed them, but because they are operating with definitions borrowed from a system they were never designed to live in.
Write this down. Every kingdom has an economy. An economy is simply a system for managing resources. It determines how resources are produced, distributed, accessed, and sustained. That means money problems are not spiritual problems. They are systemic problems. You are not broke because Yah is silent. You are broke because you are using the wrong system.
The kingdom of Yah is not a religion. It is a government. Yesha’yahu 9:6 says, “And the government shall be upon his shoulder.” Notice the Bible does not say the church will be upon his shoulder. Government means authority, order, systems, laws, and administration. And where there is government, there is economy.
Heaven has never been poor. Angels do not worry about provision. Heaven does not run deficits. Why? Because heaven is governed by a perfect system.
Now, let me help you by contrasting two economies, because you are currently living in one while claiming citizenship in the other. And until you separate them, you will always live in tension.
The world economy is built on ownership. The question the world asks is, “How much do I have?” It measures security by accumulation. It believes that safety comes from storage. That is why the world hoards, competes, exploits, and fears loss. Inflation terrifies the world because the world’s confidence is tied to numbers. Mishlei 23:5 warns us, “Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings, they fly away.” Yet the world still worships what can disappear.
The world economy is sustained by fear. Fear of tomorrow, fear of lack, fear of insufficiency. That fear drives people to work jobs they hate, to compromise values they believe in, and to chase money they never enjoy. The world says, “Get as much as you can, save as much as you can, protect as much as you can.” And yet, the Bible says in Qoheleth 5:12, “The abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.” Ownership produces anxiety.
Now, contrast that with the kingdom economy. The kingdom economy is not built on ownership. It is built on access. The kingdom does not ask, “How much do you have?” The kingdom asks, “What do you need and when do you need it?” That is a very different question.
In the kingdom, provision is demand-driven, not possession-driven. Supply is released according to assignment. Write this down carefully. The world stores, but the kingdom distributes. In the kingdom, nothing is wasted and nothing is hoarded. Everything flows.
Tehilliym 23 says, “Yahuah is my shepherd. I shall not want.” It does not say, “Yahuah is my banker.” A shepherd does not give sheep warehouses of grass. He leads them daily to green pastures. Why? Because sheep were designed to follow, not to store.
The kingdom economy is built on trust, not fear. Ivriym 13:5 says, “For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” That is an economic statement. Yah is saying, “You will never be without supply because you will never be without me.” When Yah is your source, lack becomes impossible, not because you own everything, but because you are connected to everything.
Here is where many believers struggle. They want kingdom results while living by world logic. They say Yah is their source, but they panic when their job is threatened. They say Yah is their provider, but they lose sleep over bills. That contradiction reveals something you cannot trust: a system you do not understand. Trust comes from knowledge, not confession.
Yahusha addressed this confusion directly in Luqas 12:29-30 when he said, “And seek not ye what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after.” In other words, Yahusha was saying, “Citizens of another kingdom should not think like the nations.” Then he says something powerful. “But your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.”
Knowledge precedes provision. Yah does not discover your need when you pray. He already knows. So the kingdom economy functions on a simple principle: needs trigger supply when alignment is present. That is why Yahusha could sleep in a storm. That is why Eliyahu could survive famine. That is why Yoceph could manage abundance without corruption. They were not rich by world standards, but they were never lacking by kingdom standards.
Let me say this clearly because it may offend your culture, but it will free your destiny. The kingdom of Yah is not an economic supplement. It is an economic replacement. Yah did not come to improve Babylon. He came to introduce heaven. And until you stop mixing systems, you will keep experiencing frustration.
You cannot depend on savings like the world and expect peace like the kingdom. You cannot measure success by accumulation and expect rest. Yahusha said in Luqas 12:15, “A man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.” Life flows from alignment, not assets.
So tonight, Yah is not calling you to quit your job. He is calling you to quit trusting it. He is not calling you to abandon planning. He is calling you to abandon fear. Because in the kingdom economy, confidence is not in what you see. It is in who governs what you cannot see. Once you understand this, money will stop controlling you. And when money stops controlling you, it will start serving you.
