REDISCOVERING THE ORIGINAL MANDATE
Matthew chapter 4
Today we are walking in: Rediscovering The Original Mandate

Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
REDISCOVERING THE ORIGINAL MANDATE
The Bible says that when a man teaches the kingdom of Yah he’s like a man who goes into a house and brings out old things and new things, because if you lost something for a long time and then you finally found it you think it's new again. We lost this so what I decided to do today and I prayed about this last night for the longest I said Yah what do you want me to do? He says I want you to reassure everyone this afternoon about the kingdom. So I want you to write down a lot of Scripture right now and then go into your own studies. The priority of Yahusha Hamachiach is the kingdom. Yahusha never preached being born again. Yahusha mentioned born-again once, and he never spoke it to a crowd of people. Take a deep breath. He only spoke that word to one man at 2 a.m. in the morning and the man was a religious leader. The man's question was important. How do I enter the kingdom? We keep preaching what Yahusha never preached. His priority was Matthew 6 verse 33. He says seek ye first the kingdom of Yah and His righteousness and everything you need will be added to you. Seek ye first the kingdom of Yah. Now for any Pastor’s that may listen to this recording, I'm glad you are listening, because pastors, this is going to be the class that you didn't have in college. This is going to be the class that you didn't have in Bible School. This will be the class you didn't have in seminary. I got a degree in theology and there was not one class on the kingdom and Yahusha said we must seek that first. So I have a degree in theology and don't know the message. I wanted to mention this comment here about prototype timing and listen carefully. According to chronology in the Bible, Adam is about 7,000 years old according to the chronology in the Bible. Now the earth may be much older than that, we don't know. it could be a billion years, million or whatever they want to say but we don't know that, but based on the biblical chronology mankind is about seven thousand years old. So when Adam disobeyed Yah in the third chapter of Genesis, Yah made a promise in the same chapter. He says that the woman shall have a seed that shall come into the world and shall crush the head of the authority of HaSatan and then he shall restore man back. Well here's a question I had about Yah or with Yah for years. Yah why did you take so long to send the seed? Between Adam and Yahusha is four thousand years. That's a long wait and I kept asking Yah why didn't you send Yahusha in chapter 4 and solve the problem? That’s a logical question isn't it? Or why didn't you send Yahusha during the time of Abraham or at the time of Moses or the time of the Chaldeans or the Assyrians? And Yah said to me an amazing thing. He said I sent my son, this is his answer, in the fullness of time. Now the word fullness here has nothing to do with a watch, you know on your hand, a time of day or something. The word fullness of time means everything was in its right place. The setting was perfect. Yah always moves when he has everything in the right place. So why did Yah wait 4000 years before he sent the Machiach? Because it took 4000 years for there to be a prototype in the earth that was the correct prototype of the kingdom of Yah. Now listen carefully. To understand Yah's timing in sending the king, the Machiach, anointed king, you have to understand his concept of a kingdom, and there was no Kingdom on earth that had all the components in it until the Romans arrived. The Romans actually set up a prototype of a kingdom that was the closest to Yah's kingdom and that's why he came at that time. Now let me make a statement. Effective communication depends on correct concepts. So when you're going to communicate with someone you got to make sure that their concepts are the same as yours, otherwise there will be a misconception. So every time you use words, the meanings have to be the same in both people's minds. Are you with me? So when Yah is about to speak into the world he has to make sure that the words that are going to be used by him are common in the environment. So the Roman Empire had all the words, all the concepts that a kingdom that Yah desired on earth had. Let me give an example. Every Kingdom before the Romans, all of them, you could study them, whenever a kingdom took over territory or invaded foreign territory, here's what they did: they would kill all the strong soldiers, they would take the women, and then take all the the young men and they would uproot them out of the country that they invaded and take them back to their country and make them slaves. They would displace people. The Romans were the first Kingdom in history that reversed that. The Romans were the first Kingdom and that's why they were so successful, they were the most powerful Kingdom in history, they were the longest reigning Kingdom in history. Even today no one has ever passed the Romans in rulership and thirdly the Romans had the largest kingdom in history and still do. They reigned from Africa to Scotland. They controlled the world for 200 years. They were the most powerful, most successful Kingdom in history, why? Because they used Yah's system. What is Yah's system? The Romans were the first ones to invent Yah’s idea of colonization. What did the Romans do? Whenever they invaded a foreign territory they didn't uproot the people. They would leave the people in the land but the King, Caesar, which means Lord, would send from his courts a person that he hand-picked to that territory where he just invaded and that person would be called a Tetra or a governor. Pilate was one of them. There are many of them and they would live in the new territory with the people that they conquered and the job of that governor was to convert that territory into Rome. In other words, the Romans didn't bring the people to Rome to make them Romans, they took Rome to the people to make the people Rome. Please listen to me please. So the concept, when Yah saw that, he said let’s go now because everything you're going to say will make sense to them. And that's why the Romans are so successful. They used Yah's system and so came the saying when in Rome you do as the Romans do. In other words, wherever the Romans invaded became little Rome. They made you speak Latin, they made you eat Roman food, they made you wear Roman clothing, they made you pay Roman taxes, they made you practice Roman culture. In other words, everything became Rome, So wherever you are it's Rome and Yahusha came in the midst of that. He was born in a colony. Palestine was a colony. Judea, that whole area was a colony and the governor was sent there to control it and make it Rome And his name was Pilate. Are you following me? Words like colonia is a Greek word that the Romans implemented. Words like Caesar or lord kurios were words that the Greek used for their political discussion but the Romans implemented it. Caesar means Lord. Lord means owner. I own the Empire. That's why Yahusha Hamachiach was a problem to the Roman Empire because he declared that he was Lord. it was a political issue not a religious one. Yahusha Hamachiach never claimed that he was a priest. I know you are shocked but read the four Gospels. But he claimed he was what? A king. He said you call me Lord but don't do what I say, why? if I'm your owner you don't do what Caesar tells you to do, you do what I say and then he says if Caesar’s your Lord then you pay Caesar money if I'm your Lord you pay me money. It was a political conflict. it was two kingdoms clashing. Is anybody still with me? So Yahusha' message had to be a kingdom message. Okay so let me help you out so that you will settle this forever. Let's read from your Bible, Matthew 3:1. In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the desert of Judea, what did he preach? Repent! Why? Because the kingdom of heaven is near. John's message was the kingdom message. He didn't preach baptism. He wasn't a Baptist. He baptized but he was not baptist, he preached the kingdom and he baptized Yahusha. I wish I had time to talk about that. I don't want to talk about it right now but the word baptism actually implies submission to a master teacher and his philosophy. That's what baptism was about. It's really not about the ritual of the water. It was what you submitted to. Everybody had baptisms. The Pharisees baptized, the Sadducees had baptisms, Herodians had baptisms. Baptism means you submitted to a master teacher, you went under his authority and became one with his philosophy. Plato had disciples, they call them students. Aristotle baptized, he had students that followed him. Socrates was a master teacher with students; disciples. So everyone had them and Yahusha came and he saw John and John was the master teacher of his era and John was preaching the message of the kingdom and when Hamachiach saw him, Yahusha said I'm going under that teacher. He said I have to get under this philosophy because this is my message and so the teacher became just like the student and vice versa. Let's read Matthew 4:17 And from that time on Yahusha began to preach, what did he preach? Repent! Why? For the kingdom of heaven has arrived. Matthew 4:23 And Yahusha went throughout Galilee teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people. That's what he preached. Matthew 5:3, blessed are those who are spiritually poor for to them they can only be satisfied by the kingdom of heaven. He was talking to six billion people. He says every human that is spiritually bankrupt, the only thing that can satisfy your emptiness is not a religion but the kingdom of heaven. This is why people in your country are atheists, they are agnostics, they are animists. They don't want religion. They're looking for something else. Religion does not satisfy your spiritual hunger. Look at that verse. He said if you are spiritually poor the only thing that can satisfy you is the kingdom of heaven. Why? Because that is what you lost. You didn't lose a religion, you lost the kingdom. Look at this, Matthew 6:33 but seek ye first the kingdom of Yah and His righteousness and all of these things shall be added unto you. Luke 4:43 but he said to them I must preach what? The good news of the kingdom to other towns also because that is why I was sent. Some of these verses you have never seen before. Matthew 13:11 but he replied the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you but not to them. Matthew 13:24 Yahusha told them another parable, the kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. Look at this, Matthew 12:28 but if I drive out demons by the Spirit of Yah then what? Then the kingdom of Yah has arrived on earth. Let me tell you what miracles are. Miracles are not religious activities. Miracles are evidence of another government. Look at that verse. He said if I drive out demons by the Spirit of Yah, he didn't say a religion has arrived. A kingdom has arrived. How about this one, verse 29 again he says can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first what? Ties up the strong man, then he can rob his house. He says I was able to cast this demon out of this man because the kingdom that was controlling him clashed with a greater Kingdom. Come on let us read the Bible, Luke 9:11 but when the multitudes knew it they followed him and he received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of Yah and healed those who had need of healing. By the way, he didn't speak to them about Calvary. Please don't attack me yet. Read the four Gospels for yourself. Yahusha never preached Calvary to the people. He only spoke of his death privately to his disciples. Publicly he preached the kingdom. I'm going to get in trouble right here but study for yourself. Calvary is not the gospel he preached to the people. Matter of fact, let's move on because some of you haven’t got it yet. Luke 12:33 Do not be afraid little flock for your father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Yah's pleasure is to give you the kingdom, not to give you a religion. Oh you haven’t had enough. Okay let's move on again Luke chapter 16:16 the law and the prophets, watch this, were preached up until John. Read on, but since John we should be preaching, he says, the kingdom and I graduated from seminary and there was not a class on it. The law represents Moses, the prophets represent all the minor and major prophets of the old testament. He says, the message is not what they said was coming. The message is what has already arrived. Take a deep breath. You never saw that verse before. Since John the message should be the kingdom. By the way it gets worse. Let's read this one, Matthew 23:14 Woe to you theologians, you seminary graduates! Woe to you religious professors, you lawgivers, you Pharisees, you hypocrites, you shut the kingdom of heaven up in men's faces, you won't teach it and you yourselves would not enter nor will you let the people who want to find it, find it. In other words, we are bent on teaching our own messages. Most of the theology that the world of Christendom is filled with things Yah knows nothing about. In other words, you want Yah to influence you in this teaching. I know how you feel right now but blame him not me! Religious people don't want you to know this message, so they shut it up. I tell you, four years in a university in Theological Seminary and no class taught this. How can I go through four years of study in theology about Yah and the Bible and have no session on the kingdom and it's the only message he said to preach? Because they shut it up. I spent one semester studying St. Augustine who was a Catholic priest. I had to read books by German theologians, all the deep guys and none of them talked about the kingdom. This community should be known as the kingdom community, the place where you go to get that message! Let me tell you ladies and gentlemen, my assignment is a very difficult assignment because the things I do, like I'm doing right now, is very difficult, because I've got a deal first of all with the church and pastors will come after you. Listen to me, Yahusha never had a single opposition nor a problem with sinners. His greatest opposition was religious people. He says you'll lock it up and you wouldn't go in either. It gets worse Matthew 24:13 and this gospel, this one, this means I know there are many others that you are preaching, but this gospel of the kingdom will be preached into the whole world as a testimony to every hindu, buddhist, Shintoists, Islamic person, every atheist. He said preach that, don't preach Christianity, preach the kingdom to them, why? That's what they're hungry for. That's why they shut down on you. They don't want religion, they have one already and it’s not working. He says, when you preach the kingdom, then the end will come. He placed the end of the world not in the hands of Yah, he left it in your hands. In other words, the end of the world is dependent on a message. So could it be that the church is holding him back because we're preaching our own stuff? I love you, you know and this is hard work man. Take a deep breath. Let’s read, and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached into the whole world as a testimony to all men and then the end will come. In other words, he says the end is depending on what you preach and he told us what to preach. So stop prophesying and telling people that the end of the world is coming soon. You are holding it back. Are you with me? Are you reading the Bible?Let me prove something to you. This particular statement is a result of a question they asked in verse 1 and 2. They said to Yahusha, when is the end of the world coming and this was his answer, when you guys preach this message to every city, every nation in the world, then I will come. But one time they asked him again. They said, when is the end of the world coming? His answer was strange. He said the end of the world will be like the days of Noah. He says you remember the days of Noah, the people raveling and sinning and everything. He says the Lord spoke to Noah and told Noah to build his ark. Watch him now. He says and when the ark was finished, the door was closed. When the ark was finished, then the rain came, he said and the floods rose. So shall it be at the end of the age. This might be a little confusing for you. Here's what he meant. He was telling the people, telling the disciples, he says look, the end of the world at that time, didn't depend on Yah, it was waiting on Noah. The rain could have come if Noah was finished in a week, if he was finished in a month, if he was finished in two years. The rain was waiting on Noah, so shall the end be. Yah's waiting on you to do that. I am not too concerned about missionaries anymore. I'm not excited about missionaries anymore but the question I have is what is your missionary preaching? Read the statement. You might be financing the retardation of his return. You have a Bible School here, thank Yah, you have a ministry school, thank Yah. Make sure that that school is teaching those people what message to preach when they leave here. When your denominations and your church tradition becomes more important than his instructions, then you have no reason for existence. Take a deep breath. Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:27 I tell you the truth some of you who are standing here today 2,000 years ago will not taste death before they see with their own eyes the Son of man coming in his kingdom. That verse is never taught by theologians. Why? Because they don't want to accept that it's already here. Okay take a deep breath. Let me explain this verse. Look at the verse. He was talking to people in a village standing with him 2,000 years ago. He says you will not die, you're going to be alive when the kingdom comes. He went to the crucifixion stake, rose again, came back and he said receive the Ruach HaQadesh. In other words, the kingdom is here. The kingdom of Yah is love, joy, peace and righteousness in the Ruach HaQadesh. The government is here now. We keep putting the kingdom in the future. The governor is already here. The kingdom is supposed to be working every day wherever you are. It's here on earth now. I put it to you, write this down. You can never appropriate what you postpone. If you keep putting the kingdom in the future you can never experience it now and he wants you to experience it now. He wants to meet all of your needs now. He wants you to be protected by his army now. And by the way, in a kingdom the citizens don't fight. This is very important. In a kingdom the army fights not the citizens. And so when you study the Bible carefully you'll find that the Army in the kingdom of Yah is the messengers. You are citizens so while you're drinking kool-aid and sipping your iced coffee with your chocolate doughnut the messengers are fighting on your behalf. He said I will give my messengers, army, charge. That means responsibility, concerning you, to protect you in all your ways, therefore stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. The next verse says, and the angel of the Lord went forth and destroyed Pharaoh's army. Let me tell you something. While you are here there are secret agents around your house walking around right now, they are walking around. That's why your car is safe, your kids are safe, your home is safe, your business is safe, why? In a kingdom the government sends its army to protect your property. These military guys are so awesome that the Bible says one of them destroyed Pharaoh's army. ONE! No wonder why Pilate became nervous when he threatened Yahusha. Let me give you an example of how powerful the army is. Yahusha is a king not a religious man. That's why when they arrested him in the garden he was arrested by the religious leaders. They took him to Caiaphas house and put him on trial in the court in the night, which was illegal but it was a religious Court, the Sanhedrin Council. Yahusha never answered them why? Wrong courtroom. You can't try a political leader in a religious court, so he just kept quiet, why? Unnecessary to talk to these guys, wrong courtroom. They have a religion. I have a kingdom, wrong courtroom. Now watch this, the Bible says then Caiaphas command that he be sent to Pilate. He went to Pilate. Now it's the right courtroom. We have Kingdom against Kingdom and he began to talk. Yahusha said Pilate, Pilate said Yahusha, the people said that you claim to be a king. Yahusha said, they rightly said, for this cause was I born to be a king, to testify of the truth, but my kingdom is not from this world it's in it but not from it. Pilate says, Do You Know Who I am? I represent King Caesar, I have the power in my thumb, I could take your life or give it to you. Now never threaten Yahusha. Watch his response. Yahusha said excuse me Pilate, listen to his words now, he says Pilot you could have no power over me except it was given to you by my government from above. That is in your Bible. The next statement he says, because even now, watch him now, I could call 10 legions of messengers……… not believers. I don't need no believer to defend me, I have an army in my country. I can call 10 legions of messengers and they can deliver me out of your hands right now. He says but I came to die so shut your mouth. Do you know that a Legion is 6,000 soldiers? 10 legions is 60,000. Only one destroyed Pharaoh's army. You better give him praise! Your house is safe, your car is safe, your business is safe, your children are safe. He has given his messengers CHARGE concerning you! The only problem is with the messengers, they work for you, you have to give them instructions because you are their boss. And so he said messengers are ministering spirits sent forth to do the bidding, the instructions of those who are of his salvation. That's why your house was broken into, because you left home and didn't leave instructions! Say thank you great governor! It is time to rediscover the original kingdom mandate!!!!!!

3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS: CAN YOU COUNT???
Matthew chapter 12
Today we are walking in: 3 Days And 3 Nights: Can You Count???
Today we look to the word-THREE H7969 shalowsh--three, triad, third
The Torah testifies...............
Exodus 10:22
And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three H7969 days:
Exodus 15:22
So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three H7969 days in the wilderness, and found no water.
Numbers 10:33
And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three H7969 days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.
The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 20:3
And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three H7969 years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
Jonah 1:17
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three H7969 days and three H7969 nights
Daniel 3:24
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three H7969 men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
The writings bear witness...........................
Esther 4:16
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three H7969 days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
1 Chronicles 21:12
Either three H7969 years' famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three H7969 days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
2 Chronicles 4:4
It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three H7969 looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
Three Days & Three Nights in the Heart of the Earth: The Good Friday Myth
Many of us have been brought up in the church to believe that Yahusha (whom many call Jesus) died on “Good Friday” and he resurrected on “Easter Sunday.”
Well today, I am going to dismantle these lies, and show how these deceptions actually prove to discredit him as the authentic Machiach.
In Matthew 12:38, the religious leaders of his day asked him for a “sign” to prove that he was their awaited Savior that was prophesied about by Moses and the prophets.
His response to their asking for a sign is in (Matthew) 12:39-40:
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet (Jonas).
40 For as (Jonas) was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
If he had not resurrected EXACTLY THREE DAYS & THREE NIGHTS after he was killed on the evening of Passover, then his prophecy would have failed, and this would have rendered him a false prophet, and not the true and genuine Machiach.
When the Christian Church teaches that he died on “Good Friday,” and then resurrected on Sunday morning, HaSatan dances with glee, because he knows that this makes him out to be a false prophet!
We all know that you cannot get three days and three nights out of 36 hours. HaSatan wants to discredit Yahusha as the Machiach, so that our faith in him will be destroyed. This would mean that his victory over death, Hell, and the grave was not won, and therefore, we are all doomed to eternal damnation. At least, this is what HaSatan wants you to believe!
That is why proving that he was in the heart of the earth for EXACTLY three days and three nights is crucial to our salvation!
Before I get into the meat of this study, we must first ask ourselves, “Why have we been conditioned to believe that Machiach was crucified on the 6th day of the week on Friday?”
The answer to this question is simple. The gospel accounts tell us that after Machiach was crucified, and his body taken down from the stauros (crucifixion stake), the women were in a hurry to anoint his body with spices, because at sundown began a High Sabbath.
Those who are uneducated in the Mosaic Law (Torah) see the word “Sabbath,” and they naturally assume that he was buried just before the weekly Sabbath, (what we today call Saturday). In John 19:31, it specifically tells us that this was not a regular weekly Sabbath, but an annual Sabbath:
(John) 19:31 The (Jews) therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the crucifixion stake on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
What is a High Sabbath Day? The Greek word in John 19:31 used for “high day,” is “megas,” which means “great, mighty, large, high.”
(Exodus) 12:42 It is a night to be much observed unto The Most High Yah for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of The Most High Yah to be observed of all the children of Yisrael in their generations.
Our Machiach was killed on the 14th day of the first Hebrew Month known as “Abib” (Exodus 12:2 & 13:4). The Torah commands that we kill the lamb on the 14th day of the first month in the evening. The Hebrew word for evening is “ereb,” which means “dusk.”
He was nailed to the crucifixion stake at 9:00 a.m. and he died at 3:00 p.m. It was getting close to darkness at 3:00 p.m., for they did not have daylight savings time in 1st Century Jerusalem. This means that at 3:00 p.m. in the month of April, it was already growing dark by this time.
(Exodus) 12:6 And you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Yisra’el shall kill it in the evening.
After the sun went down on the 14th of Abib, it then became the 15th of Abib, The Feast of Unleavened Bread. Remember, on the Creator's reckoning of time (Genesis 1:5), a calendar date changes at sundown, not at midnight. It was Pope Gregory who caused the date to change at midnight in the year 1582.
Right after our Machiach died on the 14th (Passover), he was taken down from the crucifixion stake, and then buried before the High Sabbath, known as The Feast of Unleavened Bread:
(Leviticus) 23:
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at evening is The Most High Yah's Passover.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto The Most High Yah: seven days you must eat unleavened bread.
7 In the first day you shall have an holy convocation: you shall do no servile work therein.
The day in which Yahusha’s crucifixion took place was called the “preparation day.” On the 14th day of Abib (Passover) we are commanded to prepare the Passover Lamb, and clean out all the leaven from our homes. Our Machiach was buried just before the sun went down on the 14th, and then it became the 15th of Abib, the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Since Yah introduced his divine calendar to us at creation in Genesis 1:5, a new calendar date was to begin at sunset. However, as I already mentioined Pope Gregory XIII caused the new date to change at midnight during his reign in 1582.
In Daniel 7:23-25, the angel told Daniel that the “fourth beast” (Rome) “shall think to change times and laws,” and since Rome has been instrumental in altering the calendar of our creator, the result has been the distorting of many prophetic events.
At the time of Yahusha’s crucifixion, Yisra’el and the entire world still acknowledged Yah’s standard of measuring time. Therefore, Yahusha was crucified and died on the 4th day of the week (what we today call Wednesday) at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, and then he was buried at sunset, around 6 p.m. After sundown, the date changed, and it then became the 5th day of the week, (what we today call Thursday).
Since the day was almost over when he died, we don’t start counting “Three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” until he was buried, and the sun went down that Wednesday evening. The count of 72 hours (three days and three nights) begins on Wednesday Night after sundown once he was in the grave.
It is important to note that whenever we see a word in italics in the King James Version, it means that the word was not there in the original text. It means that the English translators added that particular word into the text to help the sentence structure flow better.
In order to help you see where the words are italicized in the King James Version, I will highlight in red the italicized words for “day.” This will bring clarity to many of the translation anomalies in the gospels which seem to confuse people about the timing of these events.
At creation, Yah “divided” (separated) the 12-hour period called “day” from the 12-hour period called “night,” and he treated them as two separate periods.
In Genesis 1:4-5 we read: “And The Most High saw the light, that it was good: and The Most High divided the light from the darkness. And The Most High called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
As you can see, the “day” has a different name than “night.” He also did not include the “night” in with the period called “day.” He divided the 12 hours of day from the 12 hours of darkness and called them two different things.
In Genesis 1:5 people are often confused by the phrase “And the evening and the morning were the first day.” They assume that the word “evening” means the same thing as “night” and that The Most High was combining these two periods of “day and night” and calling the combination of the two periods “day.”
However, this does not make sense, because he had just finished dividing the two periods in the previous verse, yet why would he combine day and night again and call it “day?” The Hebrew word for “evening” is “ereb” which means “dusk, mixture of light and darkness,” and it is still considered part of the twelve-hour period called “day.” However, it becomes “night” when all the light is completely gone. The Hebrew word for “night” is “layil” which means “opposed to the day.”
Thus, we see that there were actually six 12-hour periods being spoken of in the prophecy of Jonah wherein our Machiach said that he would be “Three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” If he was speaking of three 24-hour periods, he would have only said “Three days in the heart of the earth.”
You may be asking yourself “Why is this important?” It is important because some people would try to argue that he was in the heart of the earth approximately three days or “inside of three days.”
Many people rationalize that if one counts the day of his crucifixion (allegedly on Friday at 3:00 p.m.), the entire day counts as day # 1. The next logical conclusion is that day # 2 was Saturday, and day # 3 was Sunday.
They claim that even a fraction of the day counts as the same thing as a 24-hour period when reckoning the three days and three nights prophecy. The only problem with this logic is that Yah, our Creator always uses precise measurements when it comes to prophecy. He is perfectly accurate in all of his ways.
From Friday evening at 3:00 p.m. until Sunday morning (when he allegedly resurrected) would mean that he was rendering a 36-hour period as “Three days & three nights.” However, we know that he purposely spoke of “Three days & three nights” because it is exactly 72 hours.
Hence, the reason why it is important to distinguish that a day is only 12 hours--not 24 hours! The period called “night” is also a 12-hour period.
(John) 11:9 Yahusha answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walks in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.
Yahusha rose again as the Sabbath was ending “After three days.” This is why he said that he is “Lord of the Sabbath.” The Catholic Church changed the Sabbath to Sunday because they rationalize “Jesus resurrected on Sunday morning.” However, a careful study in the original language of the New Testament (Aramaic & Greek), will clear up this false notion of a Sunday resurrection.
What follows is a detailed and exhaustive study on the timing of the resurrection conducted by a man named Roy Reinhold. Mr. Reinhold has done an excellent job of dissecting all four gospels and laying it out for us to see, that our Machiach resurrected on what we today call Saturday (the seventh day of the week), just as the Sabbath was ending!
Biblical Proof Yahusha (Jesus) Died Wednesday & Rose on Sabbath: Good Friday is a Myth, Yahusha (Jesus) Died on a Wednesday!
3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH
One of the most common questions asked by Christians is, this:
“How could Jesus have been in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights if He died on a Friday afternoon and rose before sunrise on a Sunday?”
Most Christians duck the question, since at most they can only come up with one day and two nights (Friday nighttime, Saturday daytime, and Saturday nighttime in our measure of days). If they add in the Friday daytime they get two periods of daytime, even though Yahusha would have died in the late afternoon. This late afternoon death is consistent with the Passover lamb being killed between the two evenings according to the Mosaic Law.
The lamb was killed between 3:00 and 6:00 p.m. on the afternoon of the 14th of Abib/Nisan and prepared, because the 15th was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which was an annual Sabbath observance (the first and last days of Unleavened Bread were annual Sabbaths in addition to the normal weekly Sabbaths). This search of the Word is important, not because it affects salvation, but because it answers the questions posed on whether Yahusha kept His Word, and whether the Bible is true in this matter. A legitimate concern and question for all followers of Machiach!
(Leviticus) 23:5-8 In the fourteenth [day] of the first month at evening is The Most High Yah’s Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto The Most High Yah: seven days You must eat unleavened bread. In the first day You shall have an holy convocation: You shall do no servile work therein. But You shall offer an offering made by fire unto The Most High Yah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: You shall do no servile work therein.
The above text confirms that the first and last days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread are annual Sabbaths, to be observed as a day of rest in addition to the weekly Sabbaths. These days would occur on the 15th and 21st of Abib/Nisan.
The Passover meal was an important religious observance in which to remember that the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of their houses kept them alive when the angel of death passed by, and that Yah had delivered them from slavery in Egypt.
The Passover is a perpetual observance to celebrate passing from death to life. These ancient events foretold the blood of Yahusha being spilled for our sins, and our passage from death to eternal life, by the everlasting covenant of the blood of Yahusha. They also foretold that Yahusha would die exactly on the 14th of Abib/Nisan and that the day following was an annual Sabbath.
What follows is a close examination of the biblical record, in which Yahusha was killed on the 14th of Abib/Nisan in the afternoon, and the next day was the annual Sabbath, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. We shall also see from the biblical record that this annual Sabbath did not fall on the weekly Sabbath, in the year that Yahusha died.
(Matthew) 12:38-40 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from you. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Yonah (Jonah): For as Yonah (Jonah) was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
(Matthew) 27:62-66 Now the next day that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, You have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as You can. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.
The above verses show that Yahusha had openly taught that the major sign that He was the Machiach was that He would die and three days later rise again. Even more clearly, He said that He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. This promise meant that 72 hours would pass from His death to His resurrection and that this would be the sign for the Jews that He was who He said He was (the Machiach). The Friday crucifixion with a resurrection before sunrise on Sunday morning totals approximately 36 hours.
If we understood Yahusha to mean that “within” three days and three nights He would rise again, then any period short of that would suffice. But He taught that “after” three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, then He would rise again. This logically would necessitate the crucifixion on a Wednesday, then the daylight and nighttime periods of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday would be three days and three nights. We count from either His actual death shortly after 3:00 p.m. or from the time His body was laid in the tomb, shortly before the annual Sabbath began, although I believe we should count the 72 hours from the time the body was laid in the tomb.
You’ll notice that the above text from Matthew 27, recorded that the chief priests met with Pilate the morning after the crucifixion to get permission to post a guard and seal the tomb. The Bible records that this was the day after the day of preparation. This day of preparation is the 14th of Abib (Nisan), when the homes were scoured for any leavened bread within the house and a preparation of food was readied for the Passover meal, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread [Mark 15:42, Luke 23:54, John 19:14, 31, 42].
Therefore, the grave of Yahusha was not sealed until the morning of the 15th of Abib (Nisan), on the annual Sabbath. In the text from John 19, we learn that the body of Yahusha needed to be removed from the crucifixion stake because the Sabbath was about to begin and that Sabbath was a high day or annual Sabbath. This is consistent with the other verses which teach that the day of preparation was the day that Yahuw-shuwa died. Now we only need to determine whether the annual Sabbath and weekly Sabbath fell on the same day, which would lead us to the conclusion that Yahusha died on a Friday afternoon, shortly after 3:00 p.m. as commonly taught. If not, then He died on another day of the week.
(John) 19:31 The Yahuwdiy (Jews) therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the crucifixion stake on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
A High Sabbath was an annual Sabbath, not the weekly Sabbath. Therefore, this is speaking of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, not the weekly Saturday Sabbath.
(John) 19:39-40 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Yahusha by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Yahusha, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Yahuwdiy (Jews) is to bury.
(Matthew) 27:59-61 And when Yahuwceph (Joseph) had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. And there was Miryam (Mary) Magdalene, and the other Miryam (Mary), sitting over against the sepulchre.
(Mark) 15:46-47 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre. And Miriyam (Mary) Magdalene and Miryam (Mary) the mother of Yahuwseph (Joses) beheld where he was laid.
(Luke) 23:54-56 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
In totality, the above verses together give us the complete picture of what happened after Machiach’s death, how His body was prepared for burial, and who observed this process. It is extremely important to notice that none of the above texts alone gives the complete story, and that you have to read all together to get the whole story. Joseph took Yahusha’s body after receiving permission from Pilate, bought a linen sheet, and bound the body with Nicodemus’ assistance.
Nicodemus had brought a hundred pounds of myrrh and aloes, which they bound with the body. The tomb was near where he was crucified, and it belonged to Joseph who had carved this tomb out of rock. It was a new tomb that had never before been used. Also, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses accompanied the body from the crucifixion stake and watched the entire process of burial.
When Yahusha’s body was laid in the tomb, then Joseph, assisted by Nicodemus, rolled a large stone in front of the tomb opening and left. Finally, the two Mary’s left and prepared spices and perfumes, before resting on the Sabbath. Up to this point, we have no evidence that the annual Sabbath and weekly Sabbath did not fall on the same day as traditionally taught.
The next collection of verses will explore the role of the women in preparing spices and perfumes with which they intended to anoint the body of Yahusha.
In the verses where the word “day” is italicized in the King James Version, the word “day” is highlighted in red to signify that the word “day” does not appear in the original text.
(Luke) 24:1-2 Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
(Matthew) 28:1-4 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of The Most High Yah descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
It is important at this point to give an explanation of the word “dawn” inMatthew 28:1. Most people assume that he resurrected on Sunday Morning because of this verse inMatthew 28:1.
The problem with Matthew 28:1 is that the word “dawn” is a poor translation from the Greek to English. If the English translators had realized that a new calendar date changes at sunset, they would have figured this out.
We know that the “end the Sabbath” cannot be talking about Sunday morning at sunrise. The Greek word there for “dawn” is the equivalent of a word in Hebrew that means “a mixture of light and dark.” Hence, the word should really be “dusk” as the sun was going down.
The Strong’s Hebrew Concordance reveals that at sundown is the “dawning of the new day” at twilight or dusk:
#5399. nesheph neh’-shef from 5398; properly, a breeze, i.e. (by implication) dusk (when the evening breeze prevails):--dark, dawning of the day (morning), night, twilight.
The Greek words are as follows:
#2020. epiphosko ep-ee-foce’-ko a form of 2017; to begin to grow light:--begin to dawn, draw on.
#2017. epiphauo ep-ee-fow’-o a form of 2014; to illuminate (figuratively):--give light.
You can see why the English translators thought that the word should be “dawn” as in early morning, just before sunrise. The Greek word epiphosko can mean “....to draw on,” and it can mean “the beginning of something” as in the “the dawning of a new era.”
For something to “dawn” means that something new is approaching. The term is much broader than the English word that we use to describe “sunrise.”
(Matthew) 28:1 And in the evening of the Sabbath as it was dusk, as the first [day] of the week began to dawn, came Mary of Magdala and the other Mary, to view the sepulcher.
You will notice that Murdock is calling this time of day “dusk” but he is saying that the “week” (Sabbaton in Greek) was beginning to “dawn” or to “draw on.” In other words it was not sunrise, but it was the end of the Sabbath at sundown, as the new week was approaching (dawning).
The MRC Translation translates it like this:
(Matthew) 28:1 Now late on the Shabbat, as it began to draw toward the first of the week, Miryam of Magdala and the other Miryam went to look at the grave.
Marqos (Mark) 16:1-4 And when the sabbath was past, Miryam (Mary) Magdalene, and Miryam (Mary) the mother of Ya’aqob (James), and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first [day] of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
(John) 20:1-2 The first [day] of the week comes Miryam (Mary) Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and sees the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runs, and comes to Shimone Keefa (Simon Peter), and to the other disciple, whom Yahusha loved, and said unto them, They have taken away The Most High Yah out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
You may have to reread the above verses to notice that the women who had watched the body of Yahusha being laid in the tomb, prepared perfumes and spices. Then Mark 16 text says that Mary Magdalene and the other Mary bought spices AFTER the Sabbath and prepared them. While the Luke 23 text states that the women prepared spices and then rested on the Sabbath. This is consistent with an annual Sabbath on Thursday, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the weekly Sabbath on Saturday.
We know that these are the same women because the Bible verses all relate that Mary Magdalene was involved in all these events. However, two other Mary’s are mentioned, one the mother of James and Salome, and the other the mother of Joses. In all cases, Mary Magdalene was involved. Therefore, the women saw Yahusha’s body being laid in the tomb on a Wednesday afternoon; they rested on the annual Sabbath on Thursday, and bought spices on Friday.
They prepared the spices on the 6th day of the week (Friday) and then rested according to the commandment on the weekly Sabbath on Saturday. After the weekly Sabbath, they intended to anoint Yahusha’s body with the perfumes and spices. Therefore both intuitively and by evidence, we have proven that Passover was on the 4th day (Wednesday), that year, and that Yahusha did as He had said, which was to rise again after three days and three nights. What remains next to determine, is whether Yahusha rose as the weekly Sabbath was ending or at sunrise on Sunday?
You’ll notice through a comparison of the four gospels that Mary Magdalene and the disciples went to the tomb a number of times. In some it was still dark, and in some it was already light. It wasn’t until it was light on Sunday that they actually discovered that He had risen; in the first visits the tomb was empty.
The above text in John 20, tells us of the first visit by Mary Magdalene when it was dark, the tomb was empty, and she had not been told that Yahusha was risen, and only saw the stone rolled away. However, there is one verse which seems to tell us that Yahusha rose on the first day of the week.
(Mark) 16:9 Now when Yahusha was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Miryam (Mary) Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
“Early the first of the week” is immediately following the Sabbath at sundown on Saturday evening. It is called Havdalah in Hebrew which means “exiting the Sabbath.” The word “day” is not in the original text as indicated by the red highlighting, because it is italicized in the King James Version.
The above text would seem to conclusively prove that Yahusha rose early in the morning on the first day of the week, what we would call Saturday night. Some commentators have speculated that verses 9-20 of this chapter were later added since they weren’t in any of the early manuscripts. The original text did not have these punctuation marks in the Greek text, so they were added later. If a comma is added after risen, the verse takes on an entirely different meaning:
“Now after He had risen, early on the first [day] of the week He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.”
This change is not altering scripture since it was not written with punctuation marks. This makes the verse consistent with all the four gospels, where Mary Magdalene visited the grave, shortly after the Sabbath ended, and saw the empty grave with the stone rolled away, but did not see an angel or see Yahusha. It was later, when the sun had risen on Sunday morning that she came with Mary the mother of James and Salome back to the tomb, saw an angel who told her that he had risen, and then they saw Yahusha.
One can imagine that Mary (the mother of James) asked Mary Magdalene, “Who would roll away the stone?” as they approached the tomb, since Mary Magdalene had not mentioned that she had been there earlier and saw the empty grave. Then she went and told the disciples that she saw the angel and saw Yahusha. What any reader should realize is that the Holy Spirit gave us the four gospels with fragments of the story in each, and it takes a study of all together, to arrive at the complete picture. The following verse clearly shows us that Mary Magdalene came to the grave as the weekly Sabbath was ending.
(Matthew) 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, came Miryam (Mary) Magdalene and the other Miryam (Mary) to see the sepulchre.
Bishop Papias was an early church bishop in Syria and he wrote that the book of Matthew was originally written in Aramaic, and then translated into Greek by the apostles. Irenaeus and Clement also mentioned seeing the original Aramaic of the book of Matthew.
We have some precedence and evidence that at least some of the New Testament books were first written in Aramaic, and translated by the apostles into Greek, and Matthew is one of them. I say all of this because the Aramaic of Matthew 28:1 is much clearer than the Greek. A literal, word for word translation of the Aramaic directly to English is as follows (commas separate meaning of each word):
(Matthew) 28:1 “…in the evening, at Sabbath, when went up, the beginning (the dawning), belonging, to the last of, in the Sabbath, arrived, Miryam, the Magdalene, and Miryam, the different (the other), came to see, the tomb (the grave).”
It is obvious by repeating “The Sabbath” twice, that it is making the point that it was at twilight that Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to the tomb. By stressing “The last of the Sabbath,” the verse drives home the point that this was Saturday evening, but that the twilight period still belonged to the Sabbath.
There were no streetlights then, and no flashlights, so if the full moon had not yet risen, then when it got dark, it got really dark, really fast. The two Mary’s had just enough time to look around and leave. No one can read the Peshitta Aramaic of Matthew 28:1 and mistake it for any other understanding than that the Mary’s arrived at the tomb at twilight on Saturday evening and the stone had already been rolled away.
Why didn’t the two Mary’s try to anoint the body of Yahusha on Friday, since they had prepared the spices and perfumes on Friday before the weekly Sabbath began? It is because in Matthew 27:62-66, Pilate had given the Roman order to have the grave sealed on Thursday morning, and they had put the Roman seal on it and posted guards until the 3 days were complete. Therefore, if the two Mary’s had tried to anoint the body on Friday, they would have broken the law and been arrested. They waited until after the 3 days, so as to avoid arrest. The apostles were all in hiding at the time, fearing possibly of their own arrest, so it fell to the two Mary’s to anoint the body.
The fact is that the Last Supper celebrated with the bread and wine by Yahusha and the disciples took place on the evening of the third day of the week (we would say Tuesday evening). He was crucified on a Wednesday and was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights. He rose from the dead late on the Sabbath. Finally, He revealed Himself to Mary Magdalene and the disciples on the first day of the week, shortly after sunrise. Of course this means that we have a Palm Saturday and NOT a Palm Sunday.
It also means that Yahusha performed the sign He said He would, and that Sunday being “The Lord’s Day” is a fabrication of the bishop of Rome. In due time, even the keeping of the Passover bread and wine remembrance was outlawed with ex-communication.
Yahusha rose again on the Sabbath and was crucified on a Wednesday. No wonder why HaSatan has used the Catholic Church to change all of these dates!
In the 3rd Century, Constantine, the Roman Emperor changed the Sabbath day to Sunday for the pagan “sun-god,” and this is why the Roman Catholic Church has had to change all other calendar dates in order to force our Machiach to resurrect on Easter Sunday!
In reality, this was not a on a Sunday. Our Machiach rode through the streets of Jerusalem on a Sabbath day, and it can be proven by counting backwards to the 10th day of Abib. The commandment in Exodus 12:3 is to select the lamb for Passover on the 10th day of the first month of Abib (Nisan). Counting backwards from Wednesday, Abib 14, we land on the 10th of Abib, which was on the weekly Sabbath day!
As the Lamb of The Most High, Yahusha was selected as the acceptable lamb for slaughter following the triumphal entry, when the chief priests met to determine his death on the Sabbath. He was laid in the tomb as the annual Sabbath was beginning. On the following weekly Sabbath, (as it was ending), Yahusha rose from the dead. This is consistent with his teaching that he is the “Lord of the Sabbath.”
There have been many believers in a Wednesday crucifixion, from the time of the early church until now. We now know that the Bible teaches a Wednesday crucifixion, so the reader now must face the facts of the Bible as compared to the traditions of men.
At the same time, I say that this does not determine salvation, for I know that there will be millions who have believed the Friday crucifixion hoax. Also, a superficial reading of the gospels does tend to lead one to the conclusion of a Friday crucifixion, when read separately, so one cannot blame the majority of believers for this false belief.
The learned reader might say that the Passover as kept today cannot fall on a Wednesday, in the Hebrew calendar. That is the case today, but then neither does First Fruits (wave offering) or the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) occur on the first day of the week in the Hebrew calendar. The reason is a matter of history. There was a controversy between the Phariseean and Sadduceean way of keeping these important feast days. At the time of Yahusha, the Sadducees were the high priests and kept the days according to our present Hebrew understanding from the Torah.
For example, the Sadducees believed that First Fruits always fell on the first day of the week, which meant that Pentecost also fell on the first day of the week. While the Pharisees believed that First Fruits fell on the 16th of Abib (Nisan), the day after the annual Sabbath, leading to Pentecost on various days of the week. At the time of Yahusha, the Sadduceean keeping of the feasts was in effect, but after the dispersion, the more numerous and stricter Pharisees perpetuated their understanding of Hebrewism. They were the ancestors of modern day Orthodox Hebrews and are the keepers of the calendar today. Their rules have supplanted the days as kept in the time of Yahusha.
Jesus died on a Wednesday,” I’ve decided to add this part 2, to point out the explanation for ALL individual verses that readers have raised. There is not one verse that disproves the Wednesday afternoon crucifixion of Yahusha. While that’s a strong statement, you be the judge.
First, let’s review the scenario proven in part 1. The Last Supper was held on a Tuesday evening. On Wednesday the 14th of Abib/Nisan, Yahusha was crucified, and died late in the afternoon. Joseph of Arimathea received permission from Pilate and took down the body of Yahusha from the crucifixion stake, probably with Nicodemus’ help. The scriptural record states that Joseph and Nicodemus worked together.
Nicodemus had brought about 100 lbs. of myrrh and aloes. They wrapped the body in a sheet (shroud) and bound it with the myrrh and aloes. It was already getting dark, so they had to hurry, because the annual Sabbath was beginning, the first day of Unleavened Bread on the 15th of Abib (Nisan), which was a Thursday.
Watching all this a short distance away were Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses. Joseph had a new garden tomb that had never been used nearby. They laid the body of Yahusha in the tomb and rolled the stone over the entrance to the tomb. The next morning the Jewish leaders met with Pilate and received permission to seal and guard the tomb, so that his disciples couldn’t steal the body and say Yahusha had risen from the dead.
They sealed the tomb and posted guards (on Thursday). The women including Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Joses, and Mary the mother of James and Salome, bought spices on Friday and prepared them. They bought spices on the day after a Sabbath (the annual Sabbath), and after preparing them on Friday, rested on the weekly Sabbath on Saturday. As the weekly Sabbath was ending late on Saturday afternoon, Mary Magdalene and one of the other Marys’ came to the tomb to anoint the body. Since it was already almost dark, or was dark, all they saw was that the stone had been rolled away and nobody was there.
Yahusha died on Wednesday afternoon and was laid in the grave as the annual Sabbath was beginning. He was in the grave Wednesday night, Thursday day, Thursday night, Friday day, Friday night, and Saturday day. Therefore, He was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights. He was resurrected late on the weekly Sabbath on Saturday. Therefore, He rose on the third day. Also, it was after 3 days and 3 nights. Those are the incontrovertible facts from the scriptural record.

And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover H6453, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.
The writings bear witness...........................
2 Kings 23:21
And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover H6453 unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
2 Chronicles 30:2
For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover H6453 in the second month.
2 Chronicles 35:11
And they killed the passover H6453, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them.
THE MYSTERY OF PASSOVER- PART 1: THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB
For years we have read the Scripture passages about the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of Yah, and about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Most of these aspects of the Kingdom have been relegated to the future, and have been set aside as not pertinent to today.
Today we are beginning to see many Scripture passages which, when taken together, reveal the Marriage Supper of the Lamb as perhaps being among us today, even giving us many clues as to its identity. So let’s look at the Scriptures, and notice a few relevant truths of the Kingdom, and of Passover, and see how these might shed light on the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The Kingdom is Within You
Let’s first look at an important feature of the Kingdom of Yah, seen in the following passage:
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of Yah should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of Yah cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of Yah is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)
In the above passage, let’s look at the statement,
“…behold, the kingdom of Yah is [present tense]…”
As we have stated before, wherever we see the word, “Lo” or “Behold,” we understand all that follows is a prophetic revelation given to us for our greater understanding.
Notice first that the above passage tells us that the kingdom ‘is.’ The Greek verb esti is in the present tense, indicative mood, telling us there is a certain aspect of the Kingdom already present with us.
This one aspect of truth of the Kingdom already present is confirmed in other passages, all using a verb in either the present tense or the Greek aorist tense (similar to the English past tense). A few of these are:
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of Yah, then the kingdom of Yah is come [aorist (past) tense] unto you. (Matthew 12:28)
But if I with the finger of Yah cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of Yah is come [aorist (past) tense] upon you. (Luke 11:20)
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of Yah is preached, and every man presseth [present tense] into it. (Luke 16:16)
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of Yah is [present tense] within you. (Luke 17:21)
For the kingdom of Yah is [present tense] not meat and drink; but (is) [present tense] righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Ruach HaQadesh. (Romans 14:17)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [aorist (past) tense] us into the kingdom of his dear Son: (Colossians 1:13)
Let’s focus now on one passage, and notice the wording,
“…behold, the kingdom of Yah is [present tense] within you…”
First, we see from the verb tense that the kingdom is already present;
Then we see that the kingdom is ‘within’ you. Here the word ‘within’ is the Greek word ‘entos,’ meaning “in, with, within, among.”
We now see the wording can be read as, “…Behold, the Kingdom of Yah is [already present][with or among] you.” (Luke 17:21a)
We may conclude from these Scriptures that certain aspects of the Kingdom are already active and present with us, and among us now.
Now if the Kingdom of Yah is already present, with us or among us now — could the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” be present also, with us or among us now, perhaps as a supper or Feast with which we are already familiar?
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Let’s look now at the Marriage Supper of the lamb, and observe some of its features. We begin with a well-known passage:
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of Yah. (Revelation 19:7-9)
In the above passage, the word Marriage is ‘gamos’, meaning “wedding or marriage festival; wedding banquet; wedding feast; marriage, matrimony.” This word appears 16 times in Scripture, giving further confirmation from the prophetic meaning of the number ’16’ in Scripture, that this word gamos speaks of the Marriage Covenant.
Let us now notice that the word Supper is ‘deipnon,’ meaning “supper, especially a formal meal held at evening; a Feast.” This word is taken from the same root as the word ‘dapane,’ meaning “cost or expense.” This word association tells us this is not an ordinary supper, but one of great cost—such as a formal Feast or Festival.
Just as the word gamos appears 16 times in Scripture, the word deipnon also appears 16 times in Scripture, giving us a ‘double confirmation’ that the word deipnon is also related to the Marriage Covenant.
Combining the word definitions of gamos and deipnon in the above passage, we see that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb is a particular formal Feast or Festival, one of great cost, and held at night-time; but this is a ‘Marriage’ Supper, which we would call a Wedding Feast.
With this introduction, let’s notice some further features of the marriage of the Lamb.
The Marriage of the Lamb is Made Known
Let us look again at a phrase in the above passage:
“…for the marriage of the Lamb is come…” (Revelation 19:7b)
In the above passage we see the marriage of the Lamb “is come.” The word for “is come” is the Greek word ‘erchomai,’ meaning “to come; to arrive; to appear; to become known.”
Thus we see in this passage that, at some point in time, the marriage of the Lamb (which includes the Feast-supper) “is come” — perhaps telling us that the time has arrived, or perhaps its identity has “arrived; appeared; become known.”
In light of the arrival, appearance or awareness of the identity of the Marriage Supper, we are then told in the above passage that His wife (the Bride) has made herself ready (Revelation 19:7c).
But what is the Marriage Supper?
Has it already become known to us?
Can we find it in Scripture?
And how does the Lamb’s wife (the Bride) make herself ready?
We are not given explicit answers to these questions, but we have many clues given to us. Let’s look further.
My Feasts
Notice again the following passage:
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Revelation 19:9a)
In the above passage, we are told this is the Marriage Supper ‘of the Lamb.’
But who is the Lamb?
We are told twice (in John 1:29, 36) that the Lamb is Yahushua! The phrase “of the Lamb” expresses His ownership, telling us that the Marriage Supper or Feast is ‘His’ Feast.
Since we know that Yahushua is one with His Father, we then understand that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb perhaps may be another name for one of Yah’s Feasts.
We are thus reminded that Yah’s Feasts are called His Feasts:
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Most High, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Most High in all your dwellings. 4 These are the feasts of the Most High, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Most High’S passover. (Leviticus 23:2-5)
So we have our first clue that the Marriage Supper of the Lamb may appear among “My Feasts” listed in Torah.
Notice also that these are not called “Jewish” Feasts, but “My” Feasts; that is, they are Feasts of Yah! The first two Feasts listed in the above passage are the weekly Sabbaths of Yah, and Yah’s Feast of Passover.
As we look for further clues, let us now look at some of Yahushua’s words in the Gospels.
The Marriage of the King’s Son
In Matthew 22 Yahushua speaks to us in a parable, wherein we are told that the Kingdom of heaven is likened to King who appointed a marriage or wedding for His Son:
And Yahushua answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: [therefore] come unto the marriage. (Matthew 22:1-4)
Our first clue here is that we are told that this is a parable of the Kingdom. As we saw earlier, there are certain aspects of the Kingdom that are active now, and present, with us and among us now.
The second clue is that the ‘dinner’ seen in this passage is a Marriage or Wedding Feast, and the tenor of this passage is “Behold, all things are ready, therefore come unto the marriage [feast]…,” or in other words, “Step #1 is done, therefore let us go to step #2, and celebrate the Feast.”
This same tenor can be seen in the apostle Paul’s appeal to the Corinthians:
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even HaMachiach our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1Corinthians 5:7-8)
Here Paul reminds them that because Messiah our Passover Lamb [the sacrificial Lamb] has been sacrificed for us, therefore we are not only willing, but able, to keep the Feast. That is, because of Messiah’s Sacrifice, we are ‘without leaven,’ and are thus qualified to keep the Feast — to which is implied here as the Feast of Passover!
Again, we are referred to the apostle Paul’s exhortation for proper order during the Passover meal, which Paul calls the Most High’s Supper:
When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Most High’s supper. 21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. 22 What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of Yah, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. 23 For I have received of the Most High that which also I delivered unto you, That the Most High Yahushua the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. (1 Corinthians 11:20-24)
Here Paul reminds us that what He refers to in verse 20 as the Most High’s supper — is the Passover supper mentioned in verse 23-24. Paul is here telling us that this is the Most High’s supper — it is His Feast; and that without proper order, it is not truly His Feast!
So again we see ‘His’ Feast appearing not only among “My Feasts” listed in Torah, but in the Gospels, and again in the writings of Paul, we see reference to the Passover Feast.
Continuing in the parable in Matthew 22, let us notice some further details of the Marriage or Wedding Feast:
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy<514>. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:5-14)
Here we are told that those first invited to the Wedding Feast were not worthy, therefore others were called to the Feast. The phrase “not worthy” reminds us of Paul’s exhortation in (1Co 11:23-31), where Believers are cautioned not to eat of the Passover Supper unworthily:
For I have received of the Most High that which also I delivered unto you, That the Most High Yahushua the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Most High’s death till he come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Most High, unworthily <<514>, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Most High. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily <<514>, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Most High’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. (1Corinthians 11:23-31)
This Greek word for unworthily stems from the same Greek adjective as that used in Matthew 22:8, where we are told those who were bidden were not worthy; and so again we see a connection between the Marriage supper and the Passover Supper.
With the parable of Matthew 22 in mind, let’s look at another clue from an almost parallel passage in Luke.
My Supper
There is a parallel passage in Luke 14:16-24, with many parallels to that of Matthew 22 seen above.
Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 21 So that servant came, and shewed his Most High these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Most High, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the Most High said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. (Luke 14:16-24)
First, let’s notice this passage is similar, almost a parallel to the passage in Matthew 22. It has many features in common with the Matthew 22 passage, but is distinctly different in one respect. The Matthew 22 passage is a parable of the Kingdom. The above passage in Luke 14, however, is not a parable.
Where we are told, “A certain man made a great supper…,” we are being given a statement of fact, an explanation of a scenario in the here and now. Together, the two passages tell us that the parable of the Kingdom in Matthew 22 is a parallel to the here and now scenario seen here in Luke 14.
Next we notice that “My Supper” in Luke 14:24 refers to the “Most High’s” Supper in the passage. We have already seen from Paul’s writings that the “Most High’s Supper” is referring to the well-known “Passover Supper.”
Summary
Putting all these clues together, we see even further evidence that the Marriage Supper could be the Passover supper or Feast. The Passover Supper fits the description, for the Passover meal has all the elements of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb:
Passover has Messiah as the King’s Son, as the central figure, who is betrothed to marry a Bride;
Passover has Messiah as the sacrificial Lamb;
Passover has Lamb as the main course to be eaten;
Passover has the features of a Wedding Betrothal ceremony;
Passover has the features of a supper, for it is eaten after sunset;
Passover has the features of a Feast, for it is among “My Feasts” in Scripture;
Passover has the features of a Marriage Covenant;
Passover is the only current Feast having all the features of a Marriage, a Supper, and a Lamb;
Passover is celebrated as a memorial, currently by Messiah’s Disciples;
Passover will be celebrated as a memorial, forever, into eternity, by all of Yah’s people.
With these clues in hand, we will now look at one way in which the Bride makes herself ready.
The Bride Makes Herself Ready
And how does the Lamb’s wife [the Bride] make herself ready?
One way in which the Bride makes herself ready, is by attending the Lamb’s Feasts today, which are as ‘rehearsals.’ Is it possible that one day, what is done as a ‘rehearsal’— may turn out to be the real thing??
Selah! Pause, and consider this!
Let us now look at some of the features of the Passover Supper, and how participation in the Passover meal Confirms the New Covenant.

The prophets proclaim..................
Isaiah 41:26
Who hath declared from the beginning H7225, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

Ezekiel 40:1
In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning H7225 of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.
The writings bear witness...........................

Proverbs 8:23
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning H7225, or ever the earth was.
A new year gives you an opportunity to bury the past. And to move into a future that we have not created yet. This is not the end because Yah showed you the end. So where you are has just got to be a step. So you don’t panic if you are in a step. Matter of fact I want you to go to work on Monday and tell everybody I am stepping in here. Some of you lost your business and you had to go back to a job. The Most High says that is fine, all of this is in the plan. I am working all of this for My good not yours. And the step is mine. You don’t panic if you know your purpose. Purpose gives you patience. Write that down. If you know what you see right now is not what you saw, then what you see is temporary!! What did you see ultimately? What did you dream ultimately of doing? You have to get that in your mind. Do you know how many years it took Joseph to get to that palace? Look at Joseph, when he was in the pit he was dirty, he was smelly. Then when he came out of the pit and sold to the traders to walk behind a camel in the desert. They took him all the way through the Sinai desert, staggering under the heat of the Arabian sun scorching his back, lips parched, the hot sand burning his feet and every time the camel would drop a load he had to walk around it. But do you see that it was just a step? He was on his way to the throne. Listen to me, Don’t worry about the camel just keep on moving forward! He knows where you are going. The Most High determines the steps. You have the plan, clear but The Most High says He owns the steps. Where are you at right now? Do you know what step you are in? Sometimes you can be on a plane and the pilot will say you have arrived at your destination, but we are in a holding pattern. Everybody say, I have arrived, but I am in a holding pattern. Sometimes you may wonder why am I stuck here? But The Most High says I have got a holding pattern. Why? I am trying to clear some things up from the ground. There are some things The Most High is fixing before you land. Wait on The Most High and be of good courage and again, I say just hold the pattern. Why are you working here? I am just holding the pattern. Why did you come back here? I am just holding the pattern. When it is time to land no one can stop you from landing. The tower is in control. It is landing time for some of you. 5782 is going to be a beautiful change. You are going to say wow I am finally on the ground. No more resistance. He determines the steps. He knows where you are. He knows that you are in a pit. Matter of fact the pit was planned. When Joseph’s brothers put him in the pit they did not realize that it was on the highway to Egypt. So even the pit had a purpose because there was someone on their way to pick him up to take him to his destiny. Can I suggest to you that the pit that you think you are in is a holding pattern because someone is on their way to come pick you up to take you to your next step. That is why The Most High says to be patient. Wait on The Most High and He will renew your strength. Then He says you will rise like an eagle. The pit period is over. Someone can show up in your life in two weeks and change the rest of your life forever. The Most High always hides your future in people. He brings people to take you to the next step. Never panic in a pit. Because it works out, every, single, step. Trust in The Most High. Trust means you will trust Him in the pit. Let me tell you what gives you patients in the pit. Purpose. See once you have seen the end, then only the end is permanent. I am going to say that again, when you have seen the end, then only the end is permanent. What did you see about your business? That you were owning and controlling your business. That is the end. Everything else cannot last. We have to trust The Most High that our time will not be wasted anymore. Let me close with this. Psalms 31 verses 15-17 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake. Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
He said, look, your time is your life and I have got your life. Let me control your time and I will control your life! My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies Most High and from those who pursue me, let your face or your favor shine on your servant; save me from your unfailing love; let me not be put to shame. This last part is important. Wouldn’t it be a shame for Joseph to tell all of his brothers he was going to be a king and he died in the pit? Let me tell you what David is saying. David is saying look whatever you saw is important to The Most High’s reputation. Your purpose is a part of The Most High’s pride. He won’t allow you to fail,to mess up His reputation. The Bible says He will not put you in a position to be ashamed and to make Him ashamed. So He put your time in His hands. He says give me your time, use your time for My purpose and I am going to make sure none of us are embarrassed. You or me. Whatever you told them I will make sure that it comes to pass, be brought to reality to protect Myself and to protect you. Repeat after me, I am on my way to what I saw! What you saw as your future is The Most High’s past. What you are trying to start is already finished. The Most High already finished you and now He put you to begin! So He is not concerned about whether or not you get there, what He wants is obedience. Obedience. First Corinthians chapter 6 verse 12 (KJV) All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. What Paul is saying here, everything is permissible for me to do, but not everything can master my life! Everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial! Everything is permissible, but not everything is constructive. Think about what you are reading. The Bible says that you have a brain and a free will, you can do anything you want in the year 5782 but he says not everything you do, is beneficial to what you were born to do. Your life is a project. If you are going to build a house there are certain things you need and there’s certain things you don’t need. For example you do not need a leaf. Now leaves are good but when you put it in a house--you don’t need leaves. My point is, everything is permissible but it doesn’t add to your construction. Do not waste your time on things, projects, and clubs. Is this constructive to my life? That is the question. You have a vision to complete Fiveamprayer!!!!
