We are walking in today: Ask God for Light in the Fight.
Joshua 10:12-15 12) Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13)And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 14) And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel. 15) And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal. In this fight ask God for light to destroy the enemy. You have not, because you ask not. The same God that can speak a word in the beginning, can still bring light to your situation. Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Come on fiveamprayer, speak to God in the battle. He gives us weapons of mass destruction!! Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. Psalm 27:1-2 1) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2) When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. All we need is more of God's marvelous light shinning on us to win this battle. Joshua 10:25-27 25) And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. 26) And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening. 27) And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid, and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, which remain until this very day. My God is mighty in battle today, yesterday and forever more!! As Pastor Taffe taught on yesterday, the light in the fight, can also be the light of truth--shinning in your situation. Just because you are told the lie over and over again does not make it true. We have to know who we are and Who's we are. The enemy comes with the same lies over and over--trying to get us locked in a prison of fear. As the devil is persistent in his lies, we must be persistent in speaking God's word. Nothing and no one shall convince us otherwise!! We shall hold on to the word. We know that the Lord's word will not come back void, it will accomplish what it was sent out to do. God has given us a response. We are to continue in the work and the word that He has given us. No matter what the devil comes back with, we are not moved nor stopped. Nehemiah 6:2-9 2) That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. 3) And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? 4) Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner. 5) Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand; 6) Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words. 7) And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. 8) Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart. 9) For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. Fiveamprayer is walking in the light of God's word. We are not coming down from doing a great work until it is completed!! We shall continue in the light of His truth to finish this fight! The children of Israel repaired the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days which let the surrounding nations know that God was with them for the repairs to be completed so quickly. And on top of such constant threats. The builders had a tool in one hand and a weapon in the other. We must not put down our tools for the weapon nor the weapon for the tool. Fiveamprayer keep both close to you--there is work to do in this battle!! Make ready your sword and your instructions for the work. In both cases it is the bible. Be prepared, the enemy will try to distract, discredit and defeat your work. Nehemiah 2:18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work. Fiveamprayer ask God to strengthen your hands! Ask God for more light in the fight--sounds like revelation and manifestation Part 2, to me!! I don' know about you, but the battle isn't mine it is the Lords! We are suited up for battle. We are made victorious by the mighty hand of God. Fiveamprayer, is asking for more light in the fight. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Ask for more light in the fight--don't let the sun go down. We are fighting, slaying and taking out the enemy. No matter what battle you are in, ask the Lord to order your steps. Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. We are ready to fight! We have on the whole armor of God. The battle was never ours, it is the Lords! It is He that gives us joy unspeakable. We can ask God for light in the fight, like Joshua did. We serve the same God. Matthew 7:7-8 7) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8) For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Fiveamprayer, don't let the sun go down on your situation, ask God for more light. John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Thank You Lord for manifestation. Remember that manifestation is defined as a perceptible, outward, or visible expression; a public demonstration of power and purpose. God is showing Himself mighty in our situation and in our lives. Shinning His light of truth in our lives. Hallelujah! Don't give up. Don't turn around. Don't back down. This is a fight, we shall continue until the finish!! Ask God for more light. We serve a one shot God, we can sling one stone like David, with the Rock behind us. Joshua asked God to hold the sun in the sky--ask for more light in your situation. When Jesus walked among us as a man of flesh and blood, the Pharisees wanted Him to be put down, crucified--not knowing that was the plan--Luke 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. Since the Son was lifted up to be crucified we have all the light that we need. We have only to ask for it. The Truth comes bearing light, to cast out all darkness of lies. We lift up fiveamprayer this morning, we come together on one accord asking for more light, more truth. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Sun stand still--we come out to fight the enemy until it is over!! Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. Fiveamprayer, sun stand still, ask for more light in the fight. We ask for forgiveness, sometimes we forget to ask for forgiveness. Thank You Lord for forgiving us, for when You forgive it is cast into the sea. As far as the east is from the west, it is removed from us. Teach us how to forgive like You Lord.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Sounds like more light, in our fight. More truth to walk in His word. Fiveamprayer make another request. No matter your situation, what you are facing--ask for more light in the fight. Thank You Lord, for an on time word! Bring us out of darkness into Your marvelous light! Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. "Lord order our steps, we want more and more of You and less and less of us. Give us more light in this battle. Don't let the sun go down on this fight, Lord." You have not because you ask not. 1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. Fiveamprayer, ask for more light in the fight. We are suited up for battle, let's put on the armor of light--ready for battle. Don't let the sun go down on this fight. We are to pray without ceasing!! Ask for more light in this fight. Ask the Lord to strengthen your hands. Get up and start swinging your sword. Tell Him, you need more light in this fight!! We are trusting You for abundance--we are walking by faith not by sight. Give Him the glory!! Who the Son sets free, is free indeed! We are blood washed and walking in our independence from the world. We have Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner--going before us! We no longer fly the banner of the world! Thank You Lord we have been reshaped by Your hands! More light in this fight--we have to stand on the word, casting down all enemies of the Lord. Walk in this word today.
