We are walking in today: Crossroads In 2011.
Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. In this season you will find yourself at a crossroad. Crossroad is defined a road that runs across another one or that links two main roads. Life will take you to a crossroad. Whether it be your marriage, ministry, children, job, health, etc. In the scripture this morning it said, 'he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me is not worthy of Me'. Pick up your cross, whatever road you are on right now and follow Jesus. Your cross might put you in a situation to lose your best friend, but stand on the word of God. In the end, on this crossroad you will find reconciliation, when you follow Jesus. Don't ever compromise your relationship with our heavenly Father!! Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Sometimes in this battle we don't want to bare the cross. We fold under pressure. We get in fear and doubt. We lose hope. We began to speak death at the crossroad. If Jesus had to bare the cross? Then who are you? Take up your cross at this crossroad and follow the word of Jesus. Matthew 27:32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross. Matthew 27:40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Thank God!!! That Jesus did not come down!! Every time you think about your crossroad, choose to follow Jesus with every step you take!! Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. Are you sold out today, fiveamprayer? In this season you will need to sell everything to receive abundance. We have to put down the things of this world to hold on to the heavenly things. Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? You need to be sold out for God. Trusting Him for every crossroad we come across. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Ephesians 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. The cross is part of our walk. Just in case you didn't know. Philippians 3:18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ. Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. We need to thank God for every crossroad in our life!! There will come a time that we will need to decide which path to follow. We have ordered steps, and assurances to never be forsaken. Who are you looking to, fiveamprayer? Who are you following? Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Amen, and glory to His name!
Are you faced with a crossroads right now? If not, you will be. At the crossroads you have to pick up your cross and walk with the Lord. The word of God is with you, He promised to never leave nor forsake you!! There may be a crossroads in your marriage, your job, with your children. He is showing Himself mighty, even at the crossroads. He is with us!!! The Lord will bring us out. This crossroad that you are experiencing did not come as a surprise to Him. The question is will you stand and trust God?! The enemy will try to disguise your season. Keep walking and following His word. We walk by faith, not by sight. Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. What do I do? Where do I turn? We must pick up our cross and follow Him, walk into your promised land. Why are we fearful--God has not given us the spirit of fear. We must choose to follow Him. Ask the Lord which way? We must seek Him in prayer--be still and patient to hear from Him. There will be a crossroads in you marriage, on your job and with your children. Pick up your cross and follow God like never before! Must Jesus bear the cross alone and the whole world go free, no there's a cross for you and me. 1 Corinthians 15:23-25 23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24) Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25) For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. This is the season of abundance. We must follow where the word leads us. That is walking by faith and not by sight. Crossroads are not easy, but we can make it through, Jesus is walking with us. Fiveamprayer, we have an intercessor with us on the crossroads. What we are going through is not for us, it is for someone else. While crying through the night we can tell others that joy came came in the morning--hold on to His unchanging hand. There will be crossroads in 2011, be encouraged! We are walking with the Author and Finisher of our faith--Jesus! We lift up fiveamprayer for the crossroads they are on. We lift up prayer requests, have them to know that You order our steps and tell us which way to go. We ask for forgiveness, we sometimes wanted to back down and turn around. Thank You for forgiving us, for when You forgive the there is no condemnation. Teach us how to forgive others, so we are forgiven as well.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
