We are walking in today: God's Assurance.
Hebrews 13:5-6 5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Assurance is defined as a promise or pledge, guaranty and surety; freedom from uncertainty. My assurance is to be built upon God's assurance to me. God says, "I will never leave you", so that then we may boldly say, "the Lord is my helper, I will not fear." In other words, I will not be obsessed with apprehension. This does not mean that I will not be tempted to fear, but I will remember God's word of assurance. I will be full of courage, like a child who strives to reach the standard his father has set for him. The faith of many people begins to falter when apprehensions enter their thinking, and they forget the meaning of God's assurance-- they forget to take a deep spiritual breath. Breathe spiritually and say, "the God that I serve will help me." The only way to remove fear from our lives is to listen to God's assurance to us. What are you fearing? What ever it may be, you are not a coward about it-- you are determined to face it, yet you still have a feeling of fear. When it seems that there is nothing and no one to help you, say to yourself, but the Lord is my helper-- this very moment, even in my present circumstance. Are you learning to listen to God before you speak, or are you saying things and then trying to make God's word fit what you have already said? Take hold of the Father's assurance, and then say with strong courage, I will not fear!!! It does not matter what evil or wrong may be in our way, because He Himself said,"I will never leave you." Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake. Hebrews 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end. Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. We have God's assurance--not one word will fail!!!! 2 Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them. We must continue in what the Lord has taught us. We can be assured that we are making godly choices in our lives. For we know who has taught us! Fiveamprayer, we have assurance in His word--Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Don't let doubt talk to you--no matter what, hold to the word--Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. God told us on yesterday that love never fails, and covers a multitude of sin. Fiveamprayer we have our confidence in the Lord's assurances. Thank You Lord!! Amen
We have a God that has assured us to never leave us or forsake us. The Lord will help us, He is the Lilly of the Valley. He does the impossible. We have God given assurance. In the natural our guarantees are written on paper and will fade or can burn up. God's assurance is written in the blood that will never loose it's power! We can tie a knot in the rope and hold on. Fiveamprayer, we know that not one word of God will fail. We must seek Him to find Him. Try Him for yourself. He will bring us out and bring us out and bring us through. Don't let what you are going through to bring you down. Pick up your assurance, the Bible. Just like when you start a job, they give you an insurance packet for your health, we have God's assurance which covers us in the blood. You better pick up your assurance plan, the word of God and read it! From Genesis to Revelations, He has it all covered. There is no surprising God!! Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Since He has known us from the womb He has it all planned. Why should we be fearful? Deuteronomy 1:21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged. You must try Him for yourself, fiveamprayer!! Hold on, fiveamprayer, you have been expecting from God. Don't give up in the 9th month and the 1st day--we must believe that the Lord will deliver on every expectation that He has given us. How are you gonna give up and abort the baby right before you are to give birth?! We have got to hold on, even though we are pressed on every side. We have to know that that we are assured by His word. Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Thank You Lord for Your assurance, that You are watching over us and keeping us! We know that sometimes we are being considered is why we are going through. Read Job 2 and see that the devil and the Lord had a conversation where He asked him if he considered His servant Job. We must continue to tell the Lord, yes in all things. Job 23:12-14 12) Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. 13) But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth. 14)For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him. With all that Job went through he was assured by God's word and he held on to that while going through. We must hold on to the word, that is what brings us out, keeps us in perfect peace, gives us strength in His joy. Trust in the word of God when things, appear uncertain in your marriage, on your job and in your health. We can look to the hills, knowing that our help comes from the Lord. We can walk through this valley with a shadow of death with no fear--for He is with us. We are assured, the Lord is with us! Emmanuel, praise His name! Deuteronomy 1:30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes. Fiveamprayer, get rid of fear and doubt, He came that we would have life more abundantly. Fear and doubt do not have any doings with our assured abundance. We can not walk in both. Give up the ways of the flesh and trust God. Our assurance is His word and it fails not! 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. We are conquerors and overcomers by Christ, thank You Lord! Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Luke 11:9-10 9)And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10) For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Hallelujah! Many of us have said it is getting harder out here. Look to the book of Job, are you being considered? We have Job's response, Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Will you be found, still telling God yes? Even Jesus asked if the cup of suffering could pass. Matthew 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. We must have the response, "nevertheless, Thy will be done." When we thought that we were surrounded with no way out. We have an assurance that God will open up the Rea Sea for us and we will walk over on dry land, into our promised land. Look at Isaiah, Jeremiah, Peter, Paul and John, assurances in the word for everything we will experience in this earthly life! John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. We have an Intercessor, who has assuredly washed us in His blood and redeemed us to the Father. He also left us with a guide that leads and directs us, the Holy Spirit. The Lord knows how much we can bear. He walked in the flesh too, was tempted and sinned not. Deuteronomy 11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. El Shaddai, Elohim, Emmanuel, Jehovah Jireh--we have an assurance in our Lord! The devil keeps coming against us, we can call on Jesus and the enemy must flee! In the natural, in emergencies we have to locate a phone to call for help. We have a direct line to the Lord, we can cry out for help. Even when we can not utter anything we can groan in our spirit and call God into the situation. Romans 8:26-27 26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Thank You Lord, You are ever mindful of us, for all of our needs and the things necessary unto us! Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. We must endure and not faint. We have an assurance, fiveamprayer. Don't let the lies of the devil take over your mind. We must hold on to the word to keep and find our way. Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Even when there you are uncertain, be assured by His word, His presence. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord. Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! We lift up fiveamprayer, it is the Lord that assures us! We don't have to fret or fear--2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. We lift up Yalonda Moore, she will be going into surgery tomorrow. We are assured of her healing by His word--Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Thank You for forgiving us Lord. You gave us this assurance that we are forgiven as we forgive others. Teach us how to forgive like You, with no condemnation. Let us walk unhindered and with love for all that we meet and know.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
Welcome to the overflow...
We have an assurance, fiveamprayer!! This is our year of abundance. We are gonna get what God has for us! Walk in the word today. Read the word today. Take time and spend in His presence. Hallelujah! We have an assurance written and sealed in the blood. Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Fiveamprayer, keep looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, who has assured us and sits at the right hand of the Father. Thank You Lord! Find us on facebook and be encouraged.
