We are walking in today: Believe To See.
Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. We have come out of the twelfth round with victory--now believe to see!!! I had fainted....when false witnesses rose up against David, and threatened to take away his life, and the life of his friends, in a most barbarous and cruel manner. The people of God can be subject to fainting, in the present state of things; by reason of affliction and especially when they apprehend them to be in wrath and sore displeasure: and on account of their sins, and the corruptions of their hearts; fearing lest there should be no pardon for them; or that the true work of grace is not in them; or that they shall fall, to the dishonor of the name of God, and to the reproach of His, cause and interest; or that they shall perish eternally: likewise, by reason of satan's temptations, which are sometimes so grievous, that if Christ did not pray for them, their faith would fail; and also on account of the hidings of God's face, which they cannot bear. Unless I had believed, to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of living. David was talking about both providential goodness of the Lord, in supplying him with the, necessaries of life, and in delivering him out of the hands of his enemies; and His special goodness, which He has laid up in His covenant, and in His son; even all spiritual blessings in Christ, in whom He causes all His goodness to pass before His people. The psalmist believed that he should "see" that is, enjoy all these, or whatever was needful for him; all the good things of life, all special favors; as supports under afflictions, views of pardoning grace under a sense of sin, strength against satan's temptations, and deliverance out of them; the discoveries of the love of God, and the light divine refreshments from the Lord's house, from His word of the other world; and faith in these things is the best antidote against fainting. Fiveamprayer, our response should be like that of David--Psalms 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. Believe to see!!!! Don't Faint!!! Believe to see!!!!!!
David didn't say that he could see, but believed that he would see it in this life. We have eternal life in the Lord, we are believing to see that same goodness that we will experience in heaven on earth also. The Lord showed up for David and He will show up for you! We serve a God of the encore--He has done it once and will do it again!! While we live we will see the goodness of the Lord in our finances--Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Fiveamprayer, we can believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, sounds like faith to me!! Who are you putting your trust in? Are they proven? What kind of record to they have?! Jobs can downsize and disappear, and people are fickle and walk away--who has control over everything?! With His own hands He made the landscape--Isaiah 40:4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain. Nobody but God can and will bring us through. Fiveamprayer, are you looking to the right place? Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Look to the maker of the heaven and earth, there is nothing too hard for Him! Believe to see! This is our season of abundance--His word does not come back void. Believe to see, His word will come to pass. 1 Kings 8:56 Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. All of His word will be competed. We will see His goodness in the land of the living, fiveamprayer--believe! He came to give us a life more abundantly, believe to see. We have been praying the prayer of Jabez, to enlarge our territory and He is more than able to deliver on our requests. It is by the Holy Spirit that is on the inside of us. Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Believe to see it. It is the Lord that is the way out. Many of us are pressed on every side, asking how am I gonna make it? Believe to see Jehovah Jireh, provide for you. He has promised to make a way and to keep us. We are never without, we are with God, standing on His word. That is so much more than the money in your pockets or the bank account. Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. That is favor, His hand moving on your behalf--when in the natural it is against all policies and regulations--God says yea! 2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Psalm 34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. Fiveamprayer, make your boast in the Lord!! He makes a way out of no way, He continues to give us living water. Tell others about the goodness of the Lord, share what He has done for you with others. This is an encouragement. At Life by Design, we say, "me too God." We see that He has done it before, that is is possible. We can make the same request. Acts 10:34-35 34) Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35) But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. The God that we serve is more than able to bless us all--there is no question if He can bless me too? Most certainly! We have already dispelled with the lie of lack--the Lord God Almighty does not run out nor can He be depleated. 2 Chronicles 29:36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly. Get ready, fiveamprayer God has already made preparations for us! For those of us who need strength to hold on, the joy of the Lord is our strength! Isaiah 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Fiveamprayer, the Lord has paid our ransom, we are free by the blood of Jesus. Everlasting joy rests upon our heads. As Pastor Taffe taught on yesterday, we have to know who we are and who we belong to. Servants, children and friends of the Lord God Almighty! This is not the time for an identity crisis. We have to see to believe, that would include knowing who you are. That leads into purpose--Psalm 23:5-6 5) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Anointed for the purpose, God's plan for your life. Following His word, surely goodness and mercy shall follow us as well. Believe to see, to dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Tell the devil that he is a liar--all the things that are coming against you are for you to take your eyes off of God. Hold to the word, stand on the word--believe to see. Walk by faith and not by sight. We serve a God of the encore! Help us to believe in what we can't see in the natural. Lord help us to have 20/20 spiritual vision. Maybe we are out of focus and can not see, is our focus on God? Are we shining our light of attention on Him or on other things? What are we illuminating in our lives?! That is where the focus is. And if it is not on God--that is why our spiritual vision is blurry. Re-focus doctors prescription is to spend more time: in the word, in prayer and worship of Him. This will correct your vision/belief problem. See to believe!! Tell God that, "I am gonna see to believe it. I am standing on Your promises, on Your word." Believe to see it. Hold on to His word! Believe to see it. You have gotta walk in it. Tell your bank account, increase. It is the Lord that makes a way for us. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. We must speak life in all things! He has given us that power, don't let the things of the world speak to you and you not speak back His word to them!! Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Believe to see. Every need will be met--because that is the God that we serve! What have you been trusting Him for? He will bring it to pass, in the land of the living! Believe it, it is on the way. Pastor Taffe illustrated in the book of Acts, we serve a God of the suddenly, of immediately showing up. Acts 16:25-26 25) And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26) And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. Look at the action that brought God in the scene, at midnight, which is when it is is darkest--is there anyone in a dark situations right now?! Paul and Silas' response to the darkness of the situation bound, shacked and in the inner prison (the jail with in the jail), prayed and sang praises to the Lord, so that the other prisoners heard them. Is your praise being heard by others? While on lock down in your situation, did you lock down your praise also? Remember that Jesus lead captivity captive, He put the jailer in jail, so that we are free to praise, pray and seek His face! Can those around you be encouraged by your seeking God to move on your behalf? Many of us have prayer partners, do yo also have a praise partner? Call them up and say, come praise Him with me! He has been so good, I wanna praise Him with you! It's time for God to show you His glory. He will bless you in such a way that it just won't make sense!! Those around you will know that it was from God--that you were not able to make that blessing happen by your own abilities. Thank You Lord, great is Your faithfulness!! Hallelujah!! Believe to see, fiveamprayer! Trust in the word. He is bringing us out, bringing us over and bringing us through! Believe and don't faint!! Don't faint because of your finances, put your eyes on God, not on what you don't have. Don't take your eyes off of God, that is what causes you to faint. Keep trusting and holding on to His word! He shows up on time--that is the God that we serve! Believe to see. Trust in Him. We have been calling on the Lord with the prayer of Jabez, several times a day. If He did it for Jabez, He will do it for us! We are talking about the God of the encore. To every situation--difficulies in marriages--Mark 10:9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. He even keeps our minds--Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. We will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Thank You Lord. He will bless us, we are the seed of Abraham. He left us His word, get into it from Genesis to Revelation. There are countless number of people who have been blessed and held by God in all kinds of situations. Look at Job with all that he went through, He continued to look to his God. Who blessed him a thousand fold. The children of Israel who were surrounded in the natural by mountains and Pharaoh chasing them--walked on the dry ground of the Red Sea to escape. Sarah giving birth in her latter years--what was not possible in the natural, God makes possible in the supernatural. Our Savior was whipped all night long and crucified and rose three days later with all power of heaven and earth in His hands. Stop calling on man--look to God. He doesn't lie nor can His word be reversed. He is our Rock, look to the hills where our help comes, it comes from the Lord. He is our Shepherd and has promised that we shall not want. No lack, every word He has spoken will come to pass. Believe to see it! Hallelujah! See it while in the land of the living. We lift up fiveamprayer, have them to believe to see it. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, fiveamprayer!! We lift up prayer requests those known and unknown, we lift up Marissa Grant, by His stripes she was healed. We ask for forgiveness we did not always believe to see His goodness in the land of the living. Forgive us for doubting You, Lord. Cast our sins and unbelief into the sea, remembered no more. Thank You Lord, for teaching us how to forgive others, so that we can be forgiven. Thank You Lord for teaching us the good and right way.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Jabez believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Make another request, fiveamprayer. Not everyone woke up this morning in the land of the living. We know that absence from the body is presence with the Lord. We trust and believe in You God. We are to speak life in our own lives. God is going to move like never before!! Watch God pour out like never before. We must be like Jacob--Genesis 32:26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. Hold on to the Lord, He is the only sure thing we have in this world. Hold on a little while longer, fiveamprayer, it is almost the break of day--believe to see. To God be the glory! We shall believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Keep your focus on the Lord, don't faint!! We are to look to Jehovah Jireh, not our bank accounts to provide for us. Believe to see. Get up and take some steps saying, Lord I believe to see. Hold on to God to see His goodness in the land of the living. It is the Lord who is bringing us out. Hallelujah!
