We are walking in today: Lying Signs and Wonders.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-11 8) And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9) Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10) And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11) And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie. We live in an hour when there is an emphasis on things that are supernatural. Many movies, video, and T.V. programs are delving into the supernatural. What does the word supernatural mean? It is referring to things that cannot be explained with a scientific or natural explanation. It is beyond the natural, a wonder that seemingly defies logic and is not an explainable phenomenon--of where it can come from. Supernatural manifestations are actually things that have it's source or power from the spiritual world. The spiritual world has two active powers in existence: God and His angels and Satan and his devils(also known as fallen angels). Satan uses his supernatural "lying wonders and signs" to trap men into following him, while the Lord uses His miracles to lead men in a righteous path to follow Him. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. On yesterday we walked in it's time to stop the lies. We must be aware of the lies of the enemy. From the scripture in, 2 Thessalonians 2:8-11, we see that men can be deceived into believing a lie if they are deceived into accepting lying signs and wonders. Suit yourself up with the truth!! We can see that the devil is able to perform miracles as well as God--read of a miracle that satan's magicians performed and how God did a greater miracle in Exodus 7:9-12 9) When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent. 10) And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent. 11) Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12) For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. Most Christians want to receive those things that the Lord is doing that are miraculous, however some of the so-called miracles of God are not coming from Him at all, but are glorifying men and not God. As Christians we cannot receive nor accept all miracles, signs, and wonders just because the word "God or the Bible" is attributed as to being the source of those things. The bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. The devil is a liar!!! Recognize the devil's lying signs and wonders, fiveamprayer!
The enemy is coming at us stronger and stronger. It is because we accepted God's word that 2011 is our year of abundance. It is the Lord's word that we are walking in daily, standing on and confessing. Fiveamprayer gets up early daily, seeking His face. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Everything must be proven by the word of God. We know that the devil is the father of all lies. The devil also knows scripture, we must know it also. The enemy will not quote the scriptures as the Lord wrote them--Matthew 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-13 11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Notice how the devil leaves off the part that talks about him being trampled under out feet. We must prove everything by the word. There was a sermon that Pastor Thomas preached about who you let into your house. There is a peep hole in the door to see who is outside. Don't just let anything come across your threshold. So many things could be rebuked right at the door, or better yet the door to remain barred against the lies, deceit and disorder of the devil. If it doesn't line up with the word, we are to dismiss, disregard and put down. We are running in the light of the truth, not confusion or disorder!! John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Psalm 43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles. Fiveamprayer, we know that the devil is the father of all lies--continue to stand on the word of God. God shows up with all truth and liberty. Psalm 119:45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. God is exposing the enemy with His light of truth. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. The God that we serve gives us brand new mercies every morning. The God that we serve has given us weapons of mass destruction. The God that we serve has given us praise, which ushers Him in and confuses the enemy. The God that we serve give us living water, bread from heaven. The Lord that we serve guides and leads us through the wilderness. No one but the Lord God Almighty can do these things! Isaiah 44:24-26 24) Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; 25) That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; 26) That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof. The devil lied to Eve, Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die. So the devil tries to cast doubt in what God had said, even though Eve told him in the scripture before--Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. Eve should have done what we must do now hold to the word of God!! His decree regarding the tree was given in the previous chapter, Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Once you have the word on it from God that is it! There is no one who can give you an different answer that is in line with the word!! Everyone is not for you, or your friend, fiveamprayer!! Check those that are around you. You must be and stay girded up in the word. Prove all things by the word. Deuteronomy 13:2-4 2) And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3) Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4) Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. We come against every attack of the enemy with the blood of Jesus, calling on our Savior, Jesus! We are putting the enemy on blast--every trick, every lie, every trap, every fiery dart, are cast down under out feet. The Lord has given us that power by His mighty hand. Every attack on the body, defeated, by His stripes we were healed!! Every attack on our minds, cast down--we are kept in perfect peace with our minds stayed on Him! There is no weapon that is formed against us that shall prosper and those that speak against us shall be condemned. We can say to the devil, "you have been revealed!! You have been striped of your power and the Lord is giving us sight and discernment to see your lies, traps, tricks and plans--will not work!" 2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Fiveamprayer, cover yourselves and walk in this word!! It is time to stop the lies--there is no weapon that can prosper against the word of God!! We are standing in the best place, on His most holy word. Standing anywhere else, is doomed to fail and crumble. The things of this world are temporary--hold on to the everlasting and eternal things of God!! Micah 3:6-8 6) Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. 7) Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God. 8) But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Call on the Jesus, the enemy will flee. Be aware of lying signs and wonders--if it is not of God, remove it. Reveal it, Lord, show us where we are exposed to the enemies tricks and lies. No more lies in our marriages, being unequally yolked with unbelievers, check your marriage. We are to walk in this word! Who are you surrounding yourself with!? Be not deceived. Everyone who calls out Lord, Lord, is not with you--Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Get in His word and find out for yourself. Get ready and be suited up in the armor of the Lord. Time to recognize who satan is. Thank You Lord for a rhema word, this morning, letting us know there is an enemy closer than we realize. Who is in your camp? Joshua 5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? Time for a security check, who all is with you? Are they following Christ as preached in the bible? That is why personal bible study is so important, you have to know for you!! In reading the bible, prayerfully, the Lord will reveal the meaning of His word. This is no longer a spectator situation. You have got to get involved!! Get a pen and pad and dive into the word!! Start our with reading a few scriptures out loud and then pray to God to reveal unto you what He is telling you. This has to be in us, what we speak only!! It takes time, but we can start today. Make every effort to increase in knowledge and understanding of His word. That way the devil can't trick you with it is written--Luke 4:10-11 10) For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: 11) And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. We can reply like Jesus did with the word--Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Thank You Lord, for the blood, that washes us! Thank You Lord for making us strong by Your word! We can speak to storms, peace be still. The joy of the Lord is our strength!! The Lord is our Shepherd, we shall not want. We fear no evil for Thou art with us! We have a Father that will never leave us or forsake us! Fiveamprayer, tell the devil, "back to hell--you liar!" Gird yourself up in the word. Don't be deceived!! Attacks of the enemy to come against peace in your mind. We call for peace right now that surpasses all understanding. We trust and believe that our God will grant us our request! He taught us how to speak to storms and say, peace be still, in the middle of the storm. The devil is trying to have you be all shook up and out of control. We don't worry, we have Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. The devil is trying to take us out. Look to the hills from which comes our help, our help comes from the Lord! Thank you God! We lift up fiveamprayer, cover us from every deceitful move, every deceitful lie--casting down every imagination. We come to bind it all up and loose peace. Turn off the lie and turn up the Word!! He is Jehovah Tsidkenu, Emmanuel, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi. We lift up the prayer requests of Gospelcntro, thank You for letting us know that we ought to always be grateful. We ask for healing for Rev. Redwines's sister, we know--by Your stripes she was healed. We pray for Pastor Hendricks for the healing of his body, by the precious blood of Jesus, he is made whole. Thank You Lord for blessing and keeping us! We ask for forgiveness, looking and considering other options. We must always prove it in Your word. We are in need of correction, thank You for your mercy in correcting us! We must be about our Father's business! Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation, healing us from the guilt of our sin. Thank You Lord for teaching us to forgive others to be forgiven. We make our requests, standing on Your word. Some things come by prayer and fasting.
We write in the precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Keep us from evil! Fill us with Your word, suit us up in your word. Stay in His will, we won't give up! Recognize the lying signs and wonders. It is time to stop the lies--the devil is a liar! Not one thing can he take from me!!! Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. We have to stand on God's word--especially with what is going on right now. It is too important, we must be prepared and equipped with the word of God. Line up with the word! Don't make anyone or anything your god. We serve a jealous God and will have no other gods before Him. There are deceivers among you. Pray for discernment, to find out who is among you. We have to prove all things by scripture. Not just the part that we want to hear, want to walk in. Know all of the word--look at how the devil is trying to deceive you! Thank You Lord for your word today.
