We are walking in today: Lost In Translation
-
Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living. This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here.
The Fourth Commandment Exodus 20:8-11
Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it . Six days you shall
work and accomplish all your work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the
Lord , your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son, your
daughter, your slave, your maidservant, your animal, and your convert
within your gates--for in six day the Lord made the heavens and the
earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.
307.
You shall not do any work on the Sabbath-- Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord
thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy
daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy
stranger that is within thy gates:
308. You shall set free your Hebrew bondsman in the seventh year --Exodus 21:2
If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing.
309. You shall marry your Hebrew bondwoman or designate her for your son --Exodus 21:8
9
8 If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then
shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he
shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her. 9 And if
he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the
manner of daughters.
310. You shall assist in the redemption of a Hebrew bondswoman --Exodus 21:8-9
311. You shall not sell a Hebrew bondswoman --Exodus 21:8
312. You shall not withhold food, clothing, or marital relations from a Hebrew bondswoman --Exodus 21:10
If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
313. You shall leave your land untended and unharvested in the seventh year --Exodus 23:11
But the seventh year thou
shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat:
and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner
thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.
314. You shall accomplish your work in six days
and rest on the Sabbath --Exodus 23:12 Six days thou shalt do
thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and
thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may
be refreshed.
315. You shall celebrate the three annual pilgrimage Festivals during the year --Exodus 23:14
Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.
316. You shall not appear before God empty-handed on the pilgrimage Festivals --Exodus 23:15
Thou shalt keep the feast
of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I
commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou
camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)
Colossians 1:10-16
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being
fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all
patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the
Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of
the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of
darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In
whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of
sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every
creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and
that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him,
and for him:
The concern that we have about the translations of the Bible is not what
was lost, fiveamprayer! We ourselves have been lost in translation.
We are being translated into the kingdom of God, from the kingdom of
darkness.
A definition of translation is the act or process of being picked up
from one context and set down in another. We have been given a spark
that placed us on the path to that which makes us whole. Now our inner
man is being strengthened by the study and seeking of the word of the
Almighty God! We have to move from a place of mere study of the word of
God to actual application of that which is being studied. We must be in action, the Lord God Almighty is an active God! That is how we experience this change of status from residing in the kingdom of
darkness into the kingdom of light.
John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the
light of life.
Matthew 16:17-19 17
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which
is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon
this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom
of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in
heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in
heaven.
We are sent to tell people to repent, but repent from what? We have
to dig deeper to find out, we have been lost in translation. The
appearing of the kingdom of God was to appear when Jesus Christ walked
on the earth, the first time and will again upon His return. We have been sent the spirit of Elijah
for this time and ministry for this last age.
