Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? The Fourth Commandment Exodus 20:8-11
Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it . Six days you shall
work and accomplish all your work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the
Lord , your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son, your
daughter, your slave, your maidservant, your animal, and your convert
within your gates--for in six day the Lord made the heavens and the
earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested the seventh day.
Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.
287. You shall not eat the Passover partially roasted or cooked in water --Exodus 12:19 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
288. You shall not leave any of the Passover lamb until morning --Exodus 12:10 And ye shall let nothing
of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the
morning ye shall burn with fire.
289. You shall nullify the leaven from your homes on the day before Passover --Exodus 12:15 Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
290. You shall observe a holy convocation on the first day of Passover --Exodus 12:16 And
in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh
day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall
be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be
done of you.
291. You shall not do any work on the first day of Passover --Exodus 12:16
292. You shall observe a holy convocation on the seventh day of Passover --Exodus 12:16
293. You shall not do any work on the seventh day of Passover --Exodus 12:16
294. You shall eat Matzot on the first night of Passover --Exodus 12:18 In the first month, on
the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread,
until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
295. You shall not possess or eat leaven during the seven days of Passover --Exodus 12:19 Seven days shall there be
no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is
leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of
Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
296. An alienated person shall not eat the Passover offering --Exodus 12:43 And the Lord said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all
good works.
I have a quest
ion, this morning, fiveamprayer--is it necessary to understand , before you obey? We
often drag our feet on instructions until we have a full understanding.
But when raising children, obedience has to come before understanding.
Due to their age the understanding is not yet available or them. It is
for their well-being that they must obey. We are the children of the
Most High God--we must obey before we have a complete understanding.
Will you trust that He has our best interest at heart. His laws are for our prosperity and success. Meditate
on this book of the law, found in Joshua 1:8. All the Torah is about
holiness--be ye holy for I AM holy. There are 271 commandments that can
be kept while outside the land of Israel.
We have in 2 Timothy 3:16 the Lord tells us that all scripture is given
by the inspiration of God, that would be from Genesis to Revelation.
The correction is a blessing. He has given us instruction for our
correction and the corrections of others. Torah reveals what needs
correction. The world today has little interest in correction for
themselves or others. Most often people are not looking for others to
correct them. Many look at their lives can be lived in any way or by
any measure. Lay aside mistaken ideas, take up the better way and
revealed truth. To change and grow, we need correction!
