We are walking in today:  Why Character Matters

Counting the Omer Leviticus 23:15-16 15 ‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. 16 Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord.

Day 16 Psalm 119:121-128

ע Ayin

121 I have done justice and righteousness;
Do not leave me to my oppressors.
122 Be surety for Your servant for good;
Do not let the proud oppress me.
123 My eyes fail from seeking Your salvation
And Your righteous word.
124 Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy,
And teach me Your statutes.
125 I am Your servant;
Give me understanding,
That I may know Your testimonies.
126 It is time for You to act, O Lord,
For they have regarded Your law as void.
127 Therefore I love Your commandments
More than gold, yes, than fine gold!
128 Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things
I consider to be right;
I hate every false way.

Witness gift throughout the Bible:  Exodus 23:8; Numbers 8:19; 18:7; Deuteronomy 16:19;
Proverbs 17:8; 17:23; 18:16; 25:14; Ecclesiastes 3:13
; 5:19; Ezekiel
 46:16-17
; Matthew 23:-24,8:4, 23:18-19; John 4:10;Acts 8:20; 10:44; Romans 1:11, 6:23
 ; 1 Corinthians 7:7; 13:2; 2 Corinthians 9:15; Ephesians 2:8, 3:7; Philippians 4:17; 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6; James 1:17; 1 Peter 4:10

 The counting of the omer begins during the Passover season.  It is a counting up to Shavout, the time that the children of Israel received the Torah at Mount Sinai.  This is also the same date that the gift of Christ, the Holy Spirit was sent to the believers in the upper room where they were all gathered together praying.
   Each day a section of Psalm 119 is read for reflections and preparation for Shavout.  We are to be in expectation of Yahweh moving in our lives in a powerful way.  That we would take this time to really study and search out the Torah--Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
  It is that Light that directs and leads us when we take it's direction and instruction.
The greatest temptation is ignorance of yourself.  The enemy comes to tempt you with what you already are.  The adversary is not able to create only duplicate and with his crafty and subtle ways will try to convince you to make changes outside of God's plan for
you to only receive what is already in your hand.
   Fiveamprayer keep working on your character and values, that is what will keep you when you receive power.  The first thing the Lord God gave man was His image and likeness not dominion!  Ask Yahweh during these days of counting the omer for Him to stir up the gift that is on the inside of you.  That you would no longer be employed but deployed.  Some of us have gifts laying dormant, now is the time to seek Him and find out what they are, so they can be used for the up-building of the Kingdom!  Your gift is not for you!  Remember the scripture, your gift will make room for you!  Many people these days hire an image consultant because they need someone to tell them who they are.  2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
