Day 27 Psalm 119:33-40

ה He

33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes,
And I shall keep it to the end.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law;
Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments,
For I delight in it.
36 Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness.
37 Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things,
And revive me in Your way.
38 Establish Your word to Your servant,
Who is devoted to fearing You.
39 Turn away my reproach which I dread,
For Your judgments are good.
40 Behold, I long for Your precepts;
Revive me in Your righteousness.

Fiveamprayer we need to go back to the first.  Go back to the beginning--the first oracles of God. So many of us have been stuck at the cross.  This is not to diminish the importance of the cross and what Yeshua did for us.  The question is will we cross over that threshold into what His blood bought us?!  John 10:7-9 (KJV)7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.  The word oracle appears 17 times in the King James Bible, and oracles 4 times.  What we must understand about the use of this word is that Webster's dictionary attributes oracle to mean a message from the gods delivered through a medium.  This is in reference to the pagan gods that sent messages to the priests to give to the people.  Often in the translation of the Bible from Hebrew the word davar was translated as oracle.  The word davar is the word in reference to the word of Elohim.  An utterance of Almighty God Himself.  The beginning of the books of the prophets often have this is the word of God given to me...This is to let us know that these are not the prophets words but Davar Elohim, the Word of God.  Oracle can also be used in regard to the place that you would go to inquire or where the message is received.  Such as the holy of holies where the high priest would go in to hear from Yahweh.  This is the Lord God's speaking place.  Where are you Fiveamprayer?  Are you still at the door?    To hear this again click here for more of this awesome teaching!!
