Revelation 2:18-21 the angel of the Messianic Community in Thyatira, write: ‘Here is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are like a fiery flame and whose feet are like burnished brass: I know what you are doing, your love, trust, service and perseverance. And I know that you are doing more now than before. But I have this against you: you continue to tolerate that Izevel woman, the one who claims to be a prophet, but is teaching and deceiving my servants to commit sexual sin and eat food that has been sacrificed to idols. I gave her time to turn from her sin, but she doesn’t want to repent of her immorality. -CJB

We have all in one way or another experienced rejection, the feeling of not being wanted or abandoned. This feeling can last a long time in our hearts and can cause deep seated character flaws. From not dealing with this huge issue. Masking one's emotions with false characteristic traits--believing that these traits are suited best for our healing. Some choose psychiatrists to help understand these issues (demonic influences), others choose self-help remedies like chanting and saying mantras. Yet without ultimately trusting in the plans of Yahweh and understanding the power of His word alone, are still feeling the effects of this difficulty.

Hebrews 4:1-2 the Word of God is alive! It is at work and is sharper than any double-edged sword — it cuts right through to where soul meets spirit and joints meet marrow, and it is quick to judge the inner reflections and attitudes of the heart. -CJB

Being transformed from within, by allowing the Ruach HaKodesh to clean the seeds of darkness from out souls. From the hands of the issues that planted these unholy seeds (demonic influences) of  our past. When not dealt with properly, but allowed to exist and has grown beyond it's original appearance, years ago.

Romans 12:2 In other words, do not let yourselves be conformed to the standards of the ‘olam hazeh. Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds; so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what he wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed.-CJB

Herodias was apparently under the Jezebel spirit, she sets forth a plan to silence that the mouth of the prophet John the Baptist.  Who even from prison, would continue to speak on the fact that Herod was married illegally to his brothers wife and also secretly lusted after Herodias's daughter. Here is the setting that Herodias concocted her scheme to have her daughter entice Herod with seductive dancing in order to receive an offer for a favor. Unfortunately for John, we know the end result was successful--he was beheaded. So the seemingly all involved got what they desired--Herod got both women and Herodias a richer lifestyle, all without anyone speaking on this abominable alliance.
We see the Jezebel influence in full operation with Herod's influence by the seductive face of Jezebel. Catering to his greed and lust, coveting his family members wife, and even by desiring his new wife's daughters. As well as Jezebel's male for Ahab. This shows up in Herod in not making the right decision in many areas of his life--the most profound, with the beheading of John. When we pan back from the scene we find others have joined the party started by the Jezebel spirit:  insecurities, lies, corruption, and the list goes on. All intertwined in the seductive dance of Jezebel.
Our world becomes much smaller, in contemplating the operation and powerful influence of Jezebel--on the hellish assignment to kill the voice of prophecy.  As John the Baptist was supposed to be that prophetic voice at that time.

Malachi 4:5-6 “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance], so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse [of complete destruction].” - AMP

Dealing with the issues of the past you could see that Herodias had some deep seated issues with rejection, that were never dealt with. Using any means to gain power and authority by using flattery and deceit. The end result of her actions, cost a man's life and another his integrity and following the Torah.  Which in fact this story is about Jerusalem then and us today.  Will we return to being the Torah observing people that have centuries of examples by their forefathers?  Scripture shows us how to live godly.  Literally a king and his queen once again under the influence of the Jezebel spirit--look at the pattern, there is nothing new under the sun.  Ahab and Jezebel of old and Herod and Herodias of the new.  A king not willing to stand up and be the king Yahweh wanted him to be. When we succumb under the influence of the Ahab, spirit the darkness, sends an open invitation to every demonic influence. As well as Herodias operating in a mature Jezebel spirit--this is the full blown steal, kill, destroy, greed, lust and envy. The crafty and cleaver manipulating the situation and fulfill her own desires.
This spirit of Jezebel operates others but also through yourself. When you realize that this has been a systematic occurrence of events, from childhood to adulthood--picking up demonic influences along the way. Which can be partially due to the influences of Jezebel to kill steal and destroy.  So as many have tried to reading self help books, chanting mantras and speaking to counselors and so on. All because of  not getting fed properly spiritually or the lack of knowledge of these Jezebelic operations. We find that we have been building up more and more characteristic flaws--from not understanding the operation of the kingdom of darkness. The system of this world is so entrenched and engulfed with the kingdom of darkness. Which are ways that are contrary to the ways of the kingdom of Yahweh. Yeshua said that He came to give us life and life more abundantly. The unmasking of the Spirit of Jezebel causes one's spiritual eyes to open wide to see it's operation. Yahweh is revealing to us truth His truth, to set us free from this deceptive spirit it's subtleties and operation. Moving us out from the effects of rejection, abandonment, feeling unloved, hatred, racism, bigotry just to name a few are apart of this stratagem of darkness. All setup to destroy the beautiful crown of Yahweh's creation, mankind. People deal with your issues (demonic influences) confront and learn of Yahweh because at this point reconsider everything you've been taught. It all needs to be reexamined.
