Matthew 5

We are walking in today:  Men of Torah Day--Law of the Mind,  Part 32 Understanding Kingdom Men Walking In The Light of Torah Shines In Righteousness!!

Witness righteousness throughout the Bible:   H6662 tsaddiyq--just, lawful, righteous

Genesis 18:23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with
the wicked?

Torah:  Genesis 18:25; Exodus 23:7, Deuteronomy 4:8, 25:1
Prophets:  1 Samuel 24:17, Ezra 9:15, Isaiah 3:10, 41:26; Jeremiah 23:5; Ezra 3:21, 18:20
Writings: 1 Kings 8:32; 2 Chronicles 6:23, 12:6; Psalms 1:6, 7:9, 7:11, Proverbs 10:21, 10:25, 10:28, 13:9; Ecclesiastes 3:17
Isaiah 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous   nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.

Mathew 5:13-15  13 “You are salt for the Land. But if salt becomes tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except being thrown out for people to trample on.
14 “You are light for the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.  15 Likewise, when people light a lamp, they don’t cover it with a bowl but put it on a lampstand, so that it shines for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

From the Strong’s Hebrew definition of salt. We can see the close relation of the ingredient, salt (Melach) and the Hebrew Melek meaning King. As well as the Hebrew word Malak meaning messengers (Angels) of The Most High.

Salt of the earth is the title Yeshua gives to his obedient Torah observers. Placed in the earth to preserve the path of tzaddik (righteousness). For mankind to follow and see the emulation of the heart of El Elyon as His servants. Without the path shown in righteousness walked out by Hebrews. How else is one to know how to observe the straight and narrow path of tzaddik laid out in the principles of El Elyon?

James 2:18-22  18 But someone will say that you have faith and I have actions. Show me this faith of yours without the actions, and I will show you my faith by my actions! 19 You believe that “God is one”? Good for you! The demons believe it too — the thought makes them shudder with fear!  20 But, foolish fellow, do you want to be shown that such “faith” apart from actions is barren? 21 Wasn’t Avraham avinu declared righteous because of actions when he offered up his son Yitz’chak on the altar? 22 You see that his faith worked with his actions; by the actions the faith was made complete;

As Melek (kings) of the King. Men of Torah, The Most High has given us authority over all principalities and the territories of His affairs under the order of Melchizedek (Kings and Priest) Priest, covering our wives, children, neighborhood, communities, cities, states, governments, and countries. The authority is given to us from the King of kings Himself Yeshua HaMoshiach (Jesus the Messiah) also as His servants.

Genesis 14:17-20  17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him, after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer and the kings that were with him, at the vale of Shaveh (the same is the King’s, Vale). 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed, be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth: 20 and blessed be God Most High, who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him a tenth of all.

Hebrew 7:14-21  14 For it is evident that our Lord descended from [the tribe of] Judah, and Moses mentioned nothing about priests in connection with that tribe. 15 And this becomes even more evident if another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, 16 who has become a priest, not on the basis of a physical and legal requirement in the Law [concerning his ancestry as a descendant of Levi], but on the basis of the power of an indestructible and endless life. 17 For it is attested [by God] of Him,  “You (Christ) are a Priest forever  According to the order of Melchizedek.”  18 For, on the one hand, a former commandment is cancelled because of its weakness and uselessness [because of its inability to justify the sinner before God] 19 (for the Law never made anything perfect); while on the other hand a better hope is introduced through which we now continually draw near to God. 20 And indeed it was not without the taking of an oath [that Christ was made priest] 21 (for those Levites who formerly became priests [received their office] without [it's being confirmed by the taking of] an oath, but this One [was designated] with an oath through the One who said to Him,
“The Lord has sworn  And will not change His mind or regret it, ‘You (Christ) are a Priest forever’”).

Malak, as the modern definition we know them to be angels of El Elyon. Doing His service unto mankind as ministers of His will for the Kingdom of God. Ministering before the throne of glory. Fighting principalities under the Arch Malak Michael. Delivering messages from the King of Glory unto mankind as Gabriel and Uriel exposing those things that are hidden in The Most High to His servants on Earth. As well as Raphael ministering divine healing to the obedient servants of El Elyon. Just to name the Generals of the Heavenly host.

Psalms 91:11-12  11 For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.  12 They shall bear thee up in their hands,  Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?

Genesis 18:1-2  1 Now the Lord appeared to Abraham by the terebinth trees of Mamre [in Hebron], while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 When he raised his eyes and looked up, behold, three men were standing [a little distance] from him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed down [with his face] to the ground,

Daniel 9:21  yea, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, [f]being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

With this great witness that Yeshua conveyed on the Mount. His teaching continues to elude, the office of His faithful servants and the authority given to them. As instruction and revelation of who and what we are in His Kingdom. He stated you are a candle set upon a hill that lights up the whole world. How is this light of followers in the Most High to light up the world engrossed in such darkness, as well deemed kingship of the Kingdom?? By the source of light as in the physical so in the spiritual. For the natural must come first. As in the darkness of the unknown the sun illuminating the world from day to day. Look at Genesis and its concession. First  there was darkness then came the light.

Genesis 1:1-5
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So there was evening, and there was morning, one day.

Focusing on verse 5 contrary to the belief of the world’s thinking. Evening darkness came then the morning after is considered a day in the Kingdom of El Elyon. Versus the kingdom of darkness starting a day is from sunset to sunset.
So the light set to illuminate the world is those that are connected to the living word (Yeshua, Tanakh)  The truth that "you are the light of the world" has obvious and many links to the character of Elohim and to his Law. You who love Yahuwah, hate evil! He protects the lives of his faithful followers; He delivers them from the power of the wicked. The righteous bask in the light; the morally upright experience joy (Psalm 97:10,11).

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light, growing brighter and brighter until full day (Proverbs 4:18).

The Torah ("Law" or "Instruction") is light:
Your Instructions are a lamp that shows me where to walk, and a light that shines on my path (Psalm 119:105).

Your Instructions are like a doorway through which the light shines. They give insight to the untrained (Psalm 119:130).

The Proverbs say the same thing:
Proverbs 6:23-24 For the commandments are like a lamp, instruction is like a light, and rebukes of discipline are like the road leading to life, by keeping you from the evil woman, from the smooth tongue of the loose woman.
Proverbs  13:9 The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked goes out.

The disciple of Messiah is a "light" because he walks in the righteous instruction of Elohim and shines His righteousness to the world through his works and his testimony. The Torah is light and all who keep Torah are "light in the world." Yeshua says that it is the "good works" which the believer shows. These "good works" are their obedience to the Law of Elohim.
Men of Torah and followers of the one you call Jesus. We must understand the authority and responsibilities He gave us as His Talmididm (disciples), for Yeshua spoke Hebrew and was a Hebrew. As a Hebrew God to a Hebrew people, that came in the flesh to correct the gross errors of His children. Who eventually adopted paganistic ways through captivity of the surrounding pagan nations, in time past. Who worshiped the gods of this world. The Israelites incorporated pagan worship contrary to the instructions given to Moses handed from the Word made Flesh. Yeshiah stepped out of eternity to reestablish truth from the errors of the Sadducees and Pharisees. To proclaim again on the Mount the message of the Kingdom of God. Just as He gave the message of The Kingdom on Mount Sinai to Moses. To follow His commandments the authoritative parchment (613 principles) from a King to his kings. The light unto mankind is His word and the salt of mankind is the obedience to His Torah. That gives us the right to be more than conquerors by His words.

Black History Moments:
Melchizedek means “King of righteousness” (Heb. 7:1-2). He was known as the great high priest (Alma 13:14), priest of the most high God (Gen. 14:18) ordained as priest after the order of the Son of God (Heb 7:3). He’s also known as Abram/ Abraham’s ecclesiastical leader (Gen. 14:19) (Gen. 14:20) (Heb. 7:4) and King of Salem (Gen. 14:18.) Shem is the Son of Noah (Gen. 5:32), the progenitor of Abraham. (1 Chronicles 1:24-27.) It was assumed that he held the keys to the priesthood and was the great high priest of his day where he stands next to Noah during this time when patriarchs passed on the priesthood in the family. The Great High Priest: There can’t be two high priests presiding at the same time. Shem was the great high priest of his day. Abraham honored the high priest Melchizedek by seeking a blessing at his hands and paying him tithes.
Order of Priesthood: Abraham stands next to Shem in the patriarchal order of the priesthood and would surely have received the priesthood from Shem, but Hebrews Teaching says Abraham received the priesthood from Melchizedek.
Reign over Salem: Shem inherited the land of Salem and Melchizedek is the king of Salem.
King of Righteousness: Shem reigned in righteousness (Melchizedek’s name means King of Righteousness), and the priesthood came through him. (Ginsberg, Legends of the Jews, p. 233.)
Name as Title: If Shem is indeed Melchizedek, the name is then used as a title, not an actual name. This title would seem to fit the biblical account of the Godliness and righteousness ascribed to Shem.
Hebrew Tradition: Shem, Noah’s Son that was still alive at the time of Abraham and that would make him the oldest man alive qualifying him as a candidate for the order of Melchizedek.
