God Will Avenge Me!

Luke 18:1-8; Daniel 10:12-13; Nahum 1:2; Genesis 3:8; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Deuteronomy 32:30-31; Philippians 4:6

We are walking in today:  God Will Avenge Me!

Luke 18:1-8 1) And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2) Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: 3) And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4) And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5) Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6) And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7) And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8) I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?  This is a parable about prayer and beyond....but it is a parable that moves prayer into one of the most incredible spiritual places of authority afforded to us.  We can pray with the force of the kingdom of God behind us.  Avenge is defined to take vengeance for or on behalf of.  This is one of the great Christian principles--persistence in prayer.  Fear Not--on yesterday!  When we pray, we ought to always pray and not faint!  Praying until an answer comes. Praying until deliverance comes.  Praying until you can see what you were pursuing.  It is not enough to begin to pray, nor to pray outright; nor is it enough to continue for a time to pray--but we must patiently, believing, continue in prayer until we obtain an answer.  We can become convinced of the will of God in a lot of situations that life hurls at us.  We can know with certainty because we understand what is in the word of God.  What is the will of God for a saint?  Healing is in the will.  Salvation is in the will.  Victorious thinking is in the will.  Peace is in the will.  Joy is in the will.  If the devil can drop you down into complaining, whining, and crying, it won't be too long before you quit praying and never get your answer.  But this widow in Luke 18 was determined to get relief from her adversary through this judge.  How many revivals have been lost because we quit praying?  How many souls have been lost because we quit praying for them?  How many times have you slipped back into the spot that you were in because you quit praying?!  In Daniel 10:12-13, we find that Daniel was praying for twenty-one days before the answer came.  Sometimes it take time for separate parts of complex situations to fit together.  In Acts 16, before a revival could break out, there was a time of pain and suffering.  That is why we have to endure hardness as a good soldier.   Sometimes enduring hardness means that you just keep on showing up and living out your commitment.  Not a lot of fan fare just commitment.  Paul and Silas had to move into a place that was just right for God to work.  You might object and say "What about their bodies and their pain?"  To which I would tell you that, God is more concerned with my holiness than He is my happiness!  Luke 18:5, yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. Look at this in the Amplified version, Yet because this widow continues to bother me, I will defend and protect and avenge her, lest she give me intolerable annoyance and wear me out by her continual coming or at the last she come and rail on me or assault me or strangle me.  Because of her persistence and insistence that she was constant in continuing in her request that she won her case, was avenged of her adversaries!   Don't stop praying--fiveamprayer!!  Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.  If you can ever understand that it is not about you and the devil, but it is about God and the devil, you will turn around and tell the Avenger to come on and do His will.  God is our Avenger, in the name of Jesus!  Yea and amen!!
I don't know about you, but you ought to pray and not faint!  We must push, pursue and continue on in prayer!  Fiveamprayer, press on in and through--in prayer!  Let us go to God for everything--in prayer, prayer and fasting, remaining constant in prayer!  Look at the woman who kept going to the judge.  We are to pray and not faint in our marriages, finances, jobs and children!  Call on the name of Jesus!  Get up early praying, keep seeking Him in prayer, that is where you will find your answer!  He will fix it!  God is going before us and making the crooked places straight!  Hold on to the promises--be constant in prayer!  This is the year that we will see 2012--we must be on our knees, in battlefield position.  We are to pray and pray some more!    Look at Jabez who sought out God in prayer, asking Him to enlarge his coast and then we find out that God granted him that which he requested!  Then there is Jacob, who wrestled with God, saying I won't let go until you bless me!  That is a constant prayer, holding on so tight in seeking out God that not only does God bless him, but that encounter changes how he walks as well as his name!  Thank You God that when you show up, it is not to spectate, as Pastor Taffe says.  There should be evidence of God showing up mighty in your life when you are in conversation, that is not one sided nor is it infrequent.  It should be constant, on going and a continuation of the earlier conversation.  A time for speaking and a time for listening to what God wants to speak to you.  As Pastor Taffe spoke on Sunday, that the enemy wants to take out our communication--which is usually a top strategy to take the advantage over your enemy.  This would serve to divide and shut down the passing of information that would be used to build up and organize the opposing side.  Is that why the devil is so fond of stirring up offense?!  Look at Adam in the garden after the fall, instead of running to God to get things righted, he goes to hide, pulling way and ceasing the previous conversation with God.  Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.  God came to look for Adam, as was the routine that had been established--do you have a established time with God for prayer?!  Do you have an on going conversation with Him that contains portions about what God wants you to do, not just what we are looking to God to do?  There are things that God is looking for us to so also--being constant in prayer is one of them!  Paul and Silas were in jail and prayed unto God--look at the power of prayer--loosing bonds and shackles!  God will show up and move on our behalf!  God will avenge us!  Vengeance is His!  Don't worry about the enemy, he is under your feet!  Read Luke 18 for yourself!  This woman in the text this morning is much like the woman with the issue of blood, and so many of us have issues--that she pressed in saying if I but touch the hem of His garment.  Fiveamprayer if we would but touch the hem of His garment, seeking Him in prayer!  We are to pray without ceasing!  Keep seeking God's will, He will work it out!  Pray without ceasing!  This is victory time!  Don't faint now!  This is our time and our season!  Fiveamprayer, pray, without ceasing!  On Wednesday we are to all pray together--God is opening up a window and pouring out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive!  The God that we serve is more than able!  He is moving heaven and earth for us!  He is the God that we serve!  Call on Jesus, falling on your knees--not in complaint but thanksgiving!  Saying not our will, but Thy will be done!  With all of the attacks coming against us, God will avenge us!  The devil is already a defeated foe!  Keep on praying and seeking Him!  2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  If fiveampraye,r which are My people that are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land!   It is time to pray for our marriages, for our children--they are dying young, they are taking their lives.  The enemy is coming after the children--they are our future.  We must pray, like never before!  We have a great Avenger!  Call on Him--tell Him that you know that He can fix it!  That you believe the He is able!  Stop looking for the wrong things!  Let it go and start praying!  Pray like you used to!  Pray until something happens!  Get on the alter and tarry.  We are not praying  at the alter like we used to.  Some of us are worried about the numbers and not souls!  Get together  as a body and pray!  God will hear from heaven and heal our land--because we have humbled ourselves and prayed, turning from our wicked ways.  We must pray with our children, family and friends.  We ought to always pray and not faint.  God will avenge us from our adversaries.  Fear not, was the word that God brought us, on yesterday then today--He will avenge us!  The battle is not yours it is the Lord's!  We must stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!  Greater is He that is within us than he that is within this world!  The enemy knows the word of God, and we must be in the word and prayed up!  We are living in the days of Revelation.  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Deuteronomy 32:30-31 30) How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up? 31) For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.  We must stand together!  Pray together without ceasing!  Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  Some of us will pray a little bit then stop, when things turn around.  God gives us daily bread, we should be daily in prayer!  Going before Him and thanking Him for another day, being able to wake up to brand new mercies and His grace.  The same God that loved us before we loved ourselves!  We come to repent, we are sorry for the things that we have done, those known and unknown.  We need You to avenge us!  Hallelujah!  Thank You Lord for being our strength and restorer.  That You give us peace when we thought we would go crazy.  God will avenge us!  Look at verse 8, He will avenge us speedily.  Some of us have been here for some time now, that we have begun to buy into the lie that the devil is winning.  The devil is still a liar, he is a defeated foe!  God is avenging us speedily!  He will hasten to His word to preform it!  It is His word that we are to speak, stand on and demand and declare.  This is the same word that will do all that God sent it to do!  It will not come back void nor can it be reversed or returned!  We are loaded down with His daily benefits!  Life and death is in the power of the tongue and many of us are not speaking His word in and over our lives!  No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper!  Fiveamprayer, we are to be anxious for nothing, seeking God in prayer for all things!  There is someone on the line this morning, that has their hands lifted up crying out to You, Lord to be avenged.  They are asking You to hurry to avenge them in their marriages, and in their singleness!  We are looking to You Lord, we need You right now!  You said You would hasten to Your word to preform it!  We lift up fiveamprayer this morning, God tells us that vengeance is His!  God will avenge us!  We repent, in the name of Jesus!  Repent means that we are turning from our wicked ways.  Our God is so good to forgive us with no condemnation, casting our sins as far as the east is from the west.  That those sins are cast into the sea, be remembered no more!  Pray is all that we have to do.  Imagine this woman, in need of relief from this judge, 'avenge me of my adversary.'   God hears our cry, the cry of His own elect, though He bear long with them.  You know that God will avenge us!  Keep crying out to Him--day and night!  Don't go crying to your friends and family.  Seek out God!  The word days to seek after, day and night.  We have a 24/7 God , He is always available!  The judge got tired of this woman, how much more will God do for His chosen, elect--the apple of His eye?  God is telling us to call on His name!  Tell Him what you want.  What is it you want Him to do for you?  He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory!  He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, what do you want.  He will never leave nor forsake us!  What do you want?  He has taken away the fear, then shows up to avenge us!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
God will avenge us!
Welcome to the overflow...
Hallelujah!  God, we praise your name!  Who the Son sets free, is free indeed!  You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free!  Man is not to live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.  God will avenge me!  Thank You Lord!  Thank You Holy Spirit!  We are to pray and not faint!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!  First, God tells us to fear not then today that He will avenge us!  We are to pray without ceasing!  Cast not your confidence away!  God is avenging us!  Yea and amen!  Have a blessed day!
