Finding God's Blessings, In Tough Times.
Philippians 4:6; 1 Kings 8:28; Proverbs 3:6; Daniel 6:10; Matthew 6:25, 25:27-28,31,34; Romans 8:31; 2 Chronicles 7:14; Psalm 34:19; Matthew 18:20, 6:33; Psalm 27:13, 23:4; Psalm 1:3
We are walking in today: Finding God's Blessings, In Tough Times.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. The economy is painfully squeezing people right now. Churches are no exception. No one typically thinks of a lack of funding as a positive thing. However I have learned, over the years that sometimes when we are in the midst of tough times, we might be right where God wants us. Tough times can be times of refinement. Times when we are forced to die to ourselves--because we are not enough to solve our own problems. That is not a bad thing, we must understand our financial challenges actually is a blessing. For one, it could humble us--remind us that we are dependant upon God and can't do anything on our own, unless He helps us. It helps us focus and prioritize what we do, it helps us to discover what is important. It helps us to purge things that have become habits and may have become more important than they should be. Time to make changes, fiveamprayer! It will teach us to save and be better stewards of the resources we do have. It brings us together and builds a tighter family. It pushes us to elevate, and allows us the opportunity to see God's word. Be anxious for nothing. What keeps coming to mind as I ponder this verse--is that God truly wants and expects us to call out to Him! He told us on yesterday, to seek His face. 1 Kings 8:28 Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day. Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be anxious for nothing! Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Matthew 25:27-28 27) Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. 28) Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.Matthew 25:31,34 31) When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 34) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Fiveamprayer be anxious for nothing! But in all things by prayer and supplication, giving thanks and making your requests known unto God.
You need to let God know this morning, I am seeking Your face! I seek Your, face so I am not anxious. You are a God of perfect timing! All we want is more of You--Your power, mercy and grace. We are anxious for nothing! He has gone before us making the crooked places straight. He is the one who makes a way out of no way! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! We are not worried about tomorrow--He is the same yesterday, today and forever more! Be not weary in well doing! We shall reap the harvest if we faint not! We are to acknowledge Him in all of our ways, fiveamprayer. All things by prayer and supplication, unto God. He is more than able and has made us more than conquers, more than overcomers! Greater is He that is with in us than he that is within this world! How can we be anxious?! He knows us before we were shaped in our mother's womb, He knows the number of hairs on our head. He is a keeper and a way maker! How can we be anxious?! He is Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Tsidkenu, Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, Emmanuel, Elohim, I AM--how can we be anxious? When You said that You would show us Your glory. How can we be anxious, You told us to call on Your name, Jesus and the enemy has to flee. Be not anxious in your marriage, God is a God of reconciliation. The devil wants us to be afraid but our Father has not given us a spirit of fear. But a spirit of love, power and sound mind. We will wait in the Lord and gain renewed strength! Don't be anxious! The vision will come to pass, though it tarry--wait for it! He promised to never leave nor forsake us! Why are you anxious?! He can do the impossible! Trust in the Lord, no matter what! Be not anxious, you are about to get your return! We are blessed and highly favored of the Lord! Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? We are waiting on God, seeking His face. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. We can't get anxious now. We have prayed and prayed some more! We are to walk by faith and not by sight. We got to get that mustard seed, faith working! Faith without works is dead! Without faith is is impossible to please God. Be not anxious! God will fix it! We must lay aside every weight that so easily besets us! Cast your cares on the Lord, for He cares for you! Because you can't see it, the blessing is on the way--the blessing is on you! Don't get anxious, don't move out of position! Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Now is not the time to be anxious! Be anxious for nothing! Wait on the Lord! Wait I say on the Lord! Hold on to His promises! He has already made a way out for us! It is already done and finished! Before the foundations of the world were set, before He said let there be light, before He said, let us make man in our own image and likeliness--it is already done! When Jesus was nailed to the cross and got up with all power in His hands! We are not anxious for anything! Don't get anxious, and operate in self. God is saying be still and know that I am God! Don't get anxious! Don't get out of position, nor make the wrong decision. Don't make the wrong phone call, nor speak to the wrong person. Hold your peace, be still and know that He is God! Victory shall be yours! Don't get anxious! Everything by prayer and supplication. A praying wife can save her husband. Don't get anxious, bless the Lord! He inhabits the praises of His people. Just start praising Him! He will show up. You can't get anxious now! You have prayed too long and come too far! Say it, fiveamprayer--I can't get anxious now! The enemy is trying to disguise your season! Make your requests known to God. Ask Him to keep you in position, to hold your tongue, that you don't speak the wrong things. Help us not to get anxious, operating in self. Help us to sit down and rest in You. To pray and fast to just keep in prayer constantly. How can we be anxious when we serve a mighty, good and awesome God?! A God that can not fail!? Be anxious for nothing! The devil is still a liar! We won't move until we see God's glory! That we see healing in this land! We are not anxious--Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. The word says all--not some. We are not anxious! We are delivered out of them all!! How can we be anxious? The prayers of the righteous, availeth much! He is our Lily of the Valley, our Bright and Morning Star, our Intercessor, who sits at the right hand of the Father! He says, forgive them Father, they know not what they do. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith! I am not anxious for nothing! We have eternal life through the blood of Jesus, we have power over the grave! Be not anxious for nothing! If you are feeling anxious, start praying, call someone up to pray with you. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. You know that one can chase 1,000 and two 10,000! Tell them I need some help with this thing! I am not anxious, nor worried. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Some of us are so worried about tomorrow, that we can't live for today. He gives us brand new mercies everyday! Get out of self, you can't fix it, anyway. Be anxious for nothing! The devil wants us to be anxious, worried, afraid and fearful--then he can get us to stop praying and calling on the name of the Lord. Because in your panic, you are tying to fix it yourself. We must move ourselves out of the way. How can you spend time seeking Him, then walk around anxious?! We worship the Lord, He is looking for worshipers to worship Him in spirit and in truth. We are praying for healing in the land. We are not anxious. Wait upon the Lord, He shall renew your strength! As we lay on our faces and seek You early, we are standing on Your word--Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. That is why we are not anxious! Thank You for Your mercy and grace! We are not anxious! Look at this with your spiritual eyes and see His goodness! Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Don't get anxious, lean on His everlasting arms! He is Omnipotent! His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts like our thoughts! Don't be anxious! Be still and know that He is God! We are getting free right now! Who the Son sets free is free indeed! Keep on walking, being anxious for nothing! Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. The word says that we are to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. That He is with us, that His rod and staff comfort us. So that is why we are not anxious! We fear no evil, God is walking with us! I am not anxious! Fall on your face and humble yourself! As Pastor Taffe taught on Sunday that being humble is being obedient to what God had told you to do. Fiveamprayer, we must be steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in Him! Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Why are some trees so strong,it is because in many cases their root systems are as tall or taller as the height of the tree. I shall not, I shall not be moved! Be anxious for nothing! Hallelujah glory to Your name! Hallelujah God! Thank You Father! Hallelujah God! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Lord! Thank You God! Even in the fire we will come out not smelling of smoke, nor the flame kindle on us! Be not anxious! We lift up fiveamprayer this morning! They are screaming out I am anxious for nothing! We lift up prayer requests those known and unknown, we are not anxious! We are lying out at the alter, laying aside every weight that would so easily beset us! We cast our cares, for You care for us! We ain't anxious for nothing! We are like Job this morning, though He slays me, yet will I trust Him! We come to repent, some of us were getting anxious. Forgive us, and heal the land. Hold on, don't get anxious! Don't make a wrong move or say the wrong thing!
We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: We are anxious for nothing!
