National Day of Prayer

Genesis 4:26; Matthew 18:19, Matthew 6:7-8

We are walking in today:  National Day of Prayer

Today is the 61st year of the observance, the National Day of Prayer.  Prayer is simply communication with God.  Taking time out to listen and talk with Him.  Believers can pray from the heart, freely and spontaneously and in their own words.  We need to know about the power of prayer!  We can follow prayer all the way back to Genesis 4:26
And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.  Sometimes we may wonder how do I pray?  This morning we come as one, standing together on one accord.  Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.  Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.  You know that there is commanded blessings in unity (Psalms 133)!  We are gonna all pray this morning!  Different voices lifted up to the Lord in prayer, on this National Day of Prayer.  We find how to pray in Matthew 6:7-8 7) But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8) Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

We are coming together as a body to pray--many members but one body!  Thank You God!  It is not about you, it is about God!  Give Him all of the glory!  What a mighty God we serve!  Thank You God!  Have Your way Holy Spirit!  It is getting late in the evening, the sun is going down.  It is time for change!  We were strengthened to stand--men, marriages, children and Pastors lifted up this morning.  There are seven of us praying this morning, and seven is the number of completion. We will pray today without ceasing!  As we close out prayer this morning, we must repent!  He is still giving us time to repent and turn from our wicked ways.  Renee Campbell will pray us out....We don't have to wait until a National Day of Prayer to pray.  Fiveamprayer does not have to wait until Sunday to pray, we get up every morning to pray and seek His face!  Nor are we only seeking Him in prayer when there is trouble or storm clouds rolling in.  We come to say that no flesh gets the glory!  We come to stand on Your word, 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Lord pour out Your Spirit on us!  It is time for us to confess unto the Lord!  You have shown us what we need to do, fall on our face, seeking You, Lord.  We cry out to You, Father.  We come to lift up fiveamprayer, no more waiting, repent now!  We have to repent.  We get up this morning, putting on the whole armor of God!  Lord, You are our strong tower!  We come to life up His name!  That He is shifting the atmosphere.  There is nothing too hard for You Lord!  If You don't do it, it can't be done!  You are the lifter of our heads.  We call on You Lord, with our heads bowed and hearts lifted up.  We love and magnify You, Lord.  We are not gonna keep this to ourselves.  We will take this out to the marketplace and share with others.  Someone had to lead us to the Lord.  Thank You Lord for forgiving us and casting our sins into the sea.  Thank You Lord for teaching us how we are to forgive others that we are also forgiven!  Give us a heart to forgive!  Even the thoughts, cast it all into the sea.  We are so humbled in You presence. Thank You Lord that you called us blessed in the town and in the fields.  We cover this prayer in the blood, amen!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
Genesis 32:24-26 24) And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25) And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26) And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

Welcome to the overflow...

And God granted them that which they had requested!  O, if Thou would bless us indeed!  God granted that which we requested!  Amen!  We are to pray without ceasing!  Fiveamprayer, pray all day today!  Hallelujah!  We won't let go until You bless us!  I can't let go until You bless me!  Thank You God!  Every prayer!  Where there is two or three gathered in His name, He is in the midst.  Thank You God.  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!  Take time out to look up the scriptures and read them for yourself!  Have a supernatural blessed day!
