Judgement Will Come To The House Of God First!

We are walking in today:  Judgement Will Come To The House Of God First!


1 Peter 4:17  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  You don't want Him to say, I know you not.  Or, I never knew you!!  When we read in Revelation 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.  See the judgment of God and victory of the saints are two major themes of Revelation--this theme runs throughout the book.  It is in Revelation, that John writes and reminds us that the judgement of God begins with the house of God first.  To each of the seven churches of Asia, Jesus says, I know your works.  Then He gives the proper commendation or rebuke.  Peter wrote, as he was preparing Christians in, 1 Peter 4:16-19 16) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19) Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.  2 Corinthians 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.  Acts 5:41 So they went out from the presence of the council (Sanhedrin), rejoicing that they were being counted worthy [dignified by the indignity] to suffer shame and be exposed to disgrace for [the sake of] His name.   Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.   2 Thessalonians 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer.  It seems the church today is being taken to the laundry by the God-less, we could shorten and simplify the process if we would justly judge ourselves.  If we don't then God will.  I believe that God is withdrawing His hand of protection from the church in judgement.  But the church hasn't realized it yet, remember the church is sleeping?!  It is a well known fact that there are as many divorces today within the church as outside of it.  The pleasures and values of most people in the church are not much different from the people outside of the church, either.  The line that one disguises Christian from non-Christian has become severely blurred!  Why has God not judged?  God described in Deuteronomy the judgement that would come on the children of Israel if they disobeyed Him.  The scattering of families was His final judgement.  Because of America's high divorce rate, both inside and outside of the church--children are being torn away from their families as well as emotionally.  The main problem is not on secularism, as it is the secularization of the church!  The salt is loosing it's flavor!  Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  The purity of the church has been compromised and we lost sight of the value of a pure church.  Persecution also cleanses and purifies the church where ever it occurs.  But we don't have to wait for persecution, we can repent now!  For violating God's word; for bringing in the world's values into the church; for failing to obey His voice.  In a pluralistic society which is willing to tolerate any philosophy accept one that clings to the exclusive Truth!  There is a strong tendency to dilute the provocation of Christ, as the only way to God.  This makes the message of revelation, especially relevant to the church's problems today.  After each admonition to each of the seven churches, John writes listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.  Although a different message was given to each church, each message is also directed to all the churches in Asia minor. This applies to the entire congregation of God's people today.  If we have any doubt about God's judgement on Christians we need to fully understand the book of Revelation.  Which gives us insight on how God deals with the churches today.  The seven churches in the book of Revelation needed renewal. That was only 60 years into the church history.  To each church, John writes, let he who has an ear to hear, let them hear.  John is asking them to stop, look and listen to what Jesus is saying.  The judgement on the seven churches of Asia, reminds us of Jesus teaching concerning the judgement.  Matthew 7:21-23 21) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  The church is sleeping and judgement has come to the house of God first!
Fiveamprayer, repent and line up with God's word--don't have God say to you, I never knew you!  We need to wake up this morning!  He is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. We come before You, Lord.  We come to repent for the churches, we lay ourselves on the alter as well as our families.  We come to say that we are sorry for walking in disobedience.  We are sorry, God for what we have done.  As well as for the things that we left undone--not doing as You directed us!  Fiveamprayer cry out, "Savior please don't pass us by!"  Thank You for being God, who forgives.  Judgement has come to the house of God first.  That is why there are so many churches closing and pastors falling.  The church is asleep and judgement is at the door!  Get on your face in prayer--2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  You better come on and repent!  Cast down every imagination!  Tell God not my will, Thy will be done!  Strip us Lord, purge us Lord, make us over again!  You are the potter and we the clay.  Wash our hearts daily, Lord!  We know that we all fall short daily.  Help us God, it is only You that we have sinned against.  Forgive us for our thoughts!  You said if You be lifted up, You would draw all men unto You!  It is all about making disciples not making members!!  The church has got all twisted!  It is about saving souls!  We come to repent this morning!  Judgement is coming to the house of God first.  You will have to stand before the Father for all that you have done.  You don't want to hear Him say, I never knew you.  This is serious--judgement has come to the house of faith, first.  He is coming to us first!  Get it right with God and do it now!  We lift up fiveamprayer!  Thank You for this mighty word for this time and this season.  Wake up and stop sleeping!  It is judgement time.  It is revelation time.  We come asking for forgiveness. We come to soak the alter and repent for the things that we have said and done.  Help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us!  Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation.  Lord we lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown.  Thank You that You are showing Yourself mighty that we see Your hand moving in our lives and in the lives of others!  We want to get this right and to be totally lined up with Your word and Your Spirit!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:   We repent, it is judgement time!

 We have sinned only against You!  We repent Lord.  We don't want You to take Your hand of protection from off of us!  We can see that You are taking Your hand of protection from off of America.  We can see it happening right now.  The church needs to be in prayer, fall on your face and repent.  We are sorry for putting others and things before You!  With so much going on in the church--many of us not walking in love towards one another--or not standing together, all pulling in the same direction.  John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.   Romans 15:5-7 (AMP) 5) Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance (steadfastness) and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6) That together you may [unanimously] with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). 7) Welcome and receive [to your hearts] one another, then, even as Christ has welcomed and received you, for the glory of God.  We are to walk together, encourage each other, show love for one another!  Joshua 23:10-11 10) One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the Lord your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you. 11) Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the Lord your God.  When two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst!  You know that there is commanded blessings in unity and that a house divided can not stand.  We are to walk in love, for it covers a multitude of sins!  It is judgement time, He is coming to the house of God first!  It is time to wake up!  The church has been sleeping and judgement time has come!  God told us to line up with His word, He wants to take us higher!  Don't be worried or concerned about titles!  A tree is known by the fruit that it bears.  Don't get to the end and God say, I know you not!  There are so many false prophets out here.  They will come in like wolves in sheep's clothing!  The enemy is a deceiver!  The devil is trying to get you caught up.  God has been telling us for months that it is deception time.  The enemy is setting up the church and the church is asleep!  Don't be ignorant of satan's devices!  Thank You God for coming to us and getting us cleaned up!  It is purging time.  Purge us Lord, that we may grow and bear fruit and that our fruit would remain!  Thank You Lord!  Let those who have ears to hear, let them hear what the Spirit of the Lord says to the churches!  Remember that you are the church!  What a mighty God we serve!  His word is like a two-edged sword.  Some times when the word comes you should be convicted, and say ouch.  We have gotta get this walk right, get it right with God!  He sends us this word for us to examine ourselves.   This word this morning came with conviction.  Hear what God is saying!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!  Know that it is judgement time!
