Omer Scripture: Psalm 119:33-40
We are walking in today: Now Is The Accepted Time!
2 Corinthians 6:2-3 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed. These are five words from God this morning: now is the accepted time. Why do we think we have so much time? We think we have time to read His word later. We think at the next prayer service, I'll show up. We choose to think that God is going to continue to wait on us. He will raise up another person in your place to win souls for the kingdom of the Lord God! Now is the accepted time! Let he who has an ear to hear, let them hear what the Spirit of the Lord says! Many tragedies could have been prevented if someone had acted in time. Many lives could have been spared if someone would have recognized that time doesn't extend beyond His atonement and order. The Apostle Paul clearly understood the value of time and it's importance of the soul of lost sinners. He says behold, now is the accepted time. Not tomorrow, not next week, not even in the next hour, now means immediately! Permit me to consider the urgency of Lord God's time. You are in danger of going to hell! Or of missing the Living God's favor in His love invitation to come to Him. Listen to His word. Hebrews 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. When God says now, He means now! God is the God of all time! He is of the past, present and future! He is especially the God of the present! To the unsaved His word is: now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation and favor. Now is the time for God's love for humanity is here and now. Since a person does not know how long they will live, they would be extremely wise to heed God's warning concerning their soul's salvation. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. Psalm 89:47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain? What about the uncertainties of the future if only we could tell what lies beyond today. God has not given us the ability to precisely predict the future, but His word reveals in, Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Death is inevitable and the future uncertain. The Bible says Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted. The question yet to be answered for each of us is when is that time to die, because we do not know the answer. Our Lord God in heaven is telling us this morning that now is the acceptable time to receive salvation! Think of the danger of the unknowable! You do not know what will happen tomorrow! Job 7:6 My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and are spent without hope. James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. It is crucial that you accept the Lord God's offer now. You must accept God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth as your savior now! Romans 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. God is willing to show mercy that we would be given an accepted time. The time has arrived, the Messiah has come, He is willing to pardon and save! Now is the accepted time, immediately not tomorrow or next week!
We
as Christians assume that the entire church is saved. We know that we
are the church. We are supposed to be like the disciples and going out
and teaching God's word--the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob sharing the
good news about His Son! Who died for our sins and got up on the third
day with all power of heaven and earth in His hands. If you believe,
then you are saved! In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Now is
the accepted time! Get busy and spread the good news, it is all about
souls being saved! The enemy wants to have as many as possible go with
him to hell. Now is the time--the Lord God keeps sending us warnings on
this line. Get it right and do it now! Stop walking in disobedience.
Do that ministry. Do that business. Now is the accepted time! The
windows of heaven are open and our Father is pouring out His Spirit on
all flesh! We are to get His wisdom and apply it to our life. We must
have a sense of urgency. Get in a hurry and stop waiting for someone
else. Do what the Lord God in heaven has given you to do! Now is the
acceptable time. Wait upon the Lord, now is the acceptable time! The
race is not given to the swift but to those that endure. This is the
accepted time for mercy and grace. We must walk in obedience, those
that He has called according to His purpose! He wants not any to
perish! Get busy about the Father's business! Open the doors of the
church several times to draw that one soul in! It is all about souls!
Now is the accepted time. He is sending us warning after warning! Hear
what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Now is the acceptable time.
Now is the time to go out and make disciples. Spread the word--they
that seek Him will find Him! Get in a hurry. Get all that you can get,
His Spirit, His wisdom, His knowledge and His understanding--ask Him!
We have been asking for the impossible and expecting the unexpected by
faith. Do you make sure that those souls that you touch throughout your
day, know who Jesus Christ of Nazareth is? Do you know if they know
the Father and confess Jesus Christ the Messiah as their personal
savior? There is always a window of time. 2 Peter 3:8
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with
the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. We
must be on our face and seek how He would have us to move in this time.
Now is the accepted time. Press into Him. Pray without ceasing. Now
is the accepted time! Get in position and walk that place out in His
name! No more time to wait. The Spirit of the Lord is being poured out
on all flesh. He gave us dominion and authority. You have been chosen
to do great things! Get out there and win souls for the kingdom of our
Lord God in heaven. Get out there and win souls for Jesus Christ our
Lord! Why wait? No more excuses. He is giving us a double portion and
telling us that this is the acceptable time to do what our Abba would
have us to do. Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. It
is about salvation! He is giving us gifts in hearing and seeing Him
like never before! He is using us in the Earth realm. In His word it
says if He be lifted up, He would draw all men unto Him! We lift You up
Lord God on this line, that all men would be drawn unto You! You
should be that good news telling the people how He can and wants to save
you! Now is the accepted time! Don't wait--have a sense of urgency!
You don't want to anyone to go to hell. Know right now this is a
warning! Now is the acceptable time! We are the watchmen on the wall.
Be on your post and in position! He is standing at the door and
knocking will you open unto Him? The Lord God is on the inside of you!
Now is the acceptable time. Thank You for this word! It is time to
get in a hurry. Seek, ask and knock and find Him! Now is the
acceptable time for salvation. He wants not one to be lost. We lift up
every soul to You. Isaiah 49:16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. Do you know Jesus Christ of Nazareth? Do you believe in the only Begotten Son of the Living God? That He died and rose on the third day? Do you believe and confess with your mouth? You can be saved! Now is the accepted time! We lift up prayer requests this morning, some one is crying out for their spouse to be saved; some is crying out for their child to be saved; someone is crying out for their parent or family member to be saved. We lift them all up to You Lord God in heaven. There is nothing too hard for You. Thank You for sending someone to them as You send us to answer that same prayer for someone else. Now is the accepted time! In unity we cry out for being slothful, forgive us Lord God for our disobedience. Have us to line up with Your word, Adonai! Let our spirit-man line up with the guiding of the Holy Spirit. Now is the accepted time! Thank You Lord God in heaven for forgiving us with no condemnation! cry out glory to Your name! Thank You for sounding the alarm! This is
the time, the accepted time! What have you been trusting Him for? Now
is the accepted time! John 4:35 Say
not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I
say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are
white already to harvest. Matthew 9:37-38 37
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but
the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Are you on post and in position? Your spirit-man should be rising up saying that we are gonna preach salvation unto the world! Now is the acceptable time! There comes a day when no man can work. Thank You Father! Hear what the Spirit of the Lord is says! Get into a hurry and do it now! This morning He came in like a mighty rushing wind! He is telling us to line up and be in obedience to His word! Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Hallelujah Lord! We give You all the glory, honor and praise! My soul cries holy! You better expect the unexpected by faith! Now is the accepted time! Hallelujah and glory to Your name! Be still and know that He is the true, living God! The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob! Time is at hand, He keeps sending us warnings on this line! Walk in the word of our Lord God today.
