Isaiah 45:9-12

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah Day--It's About Strategy And Timing!!

Witness plan throughout the Bible:  H4284 machashabah thought, device, thought, plan, purpose
Isaiah 25:1, 44:26; Jeremiah 29:11; Proverbs 16:3

Isaiah 45:9-12
9 “Woe to the one who quarrels with his makers, a mere potsherd with the potsherds of the earth! Woe to the one who says to the one forming him, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no human hands?’! 10 Woe to the one who says to his father, ‘What are you begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘To what are you giving birth?’!” 11 This is what the Lord says, the Creator of the signs: “Question me about my children? Or give me orders about the work of my hands? 12 I myself made the earth and personally created humankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the skies; I marshaled all their starry hosts.”

Waiting for the appointed time. It is only at the appointed time, that Yahweh implements His plans. Not whenever we want things to play out or according to the time tables we have set up.  But knowing Yahweh's timing belongs to Him and to Him alone.

Isaiah 45:21
Explain and present a case! Yes, let them take counsel together. Who announced this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no other God besides me, a righteous God and Savior; and there is none besides me.

From the very foundations of the Earth, Yahweh has established His sovereignty and perfect plan. For the system of the Earth's operations--Genesis 1:14 speaks of days and seasons.

David operated in this principle of Yahweh's timing and strategy. This being the process for David since he was a child, Yahweh was working this strategy to form a trusting King in His time. David slain the wild animals while protecting his father's sheep. Was preparation for the slaying of Goliath. To the victories in every battle, David fought leading up into his crowning of kingship over Israel.
During that time, David still had a period of obscurity and wilderness experience. Waiting on Yahweh's deliverance and instructions.

Isaiah 45:9
“Woe to the one who quarrels with his makers, a mere potsherd with the potsherds of the earth! Woe to the one who says to the one forming him, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no human hands?’

David learned the importance of waiting on Yahweh's timing, that causes victory when implemented. Also understanding that the plans of God are not our plans.

Ecclesiastics 3:1-8
1 There is a season for everything, and a time for every event under heaven: 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what was planted; 3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 a time to scatter stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 a time to search, and a time to give up searching; a time to keep, and a time to discard; 7 a time to tear, and a time to mend; a time to be silent, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.

The seasons are not in our control. The test comes to the point of trusting in the timing. For either advancement or going through the test again and again. Till the Master's requirements are fulfilled for achievements or a repeat offender.

2 Timothy 2:20-21
20 In a large house there are not only utensils made of gold and silver, but also those made of wood and clay. Some are for special use, while others are for ordinary use. 21 Therefore, if anyone stops associating with these people, he will become a special utensil, set apart for the owner’s use, prepared for every good action.

David was all aware of his stand with Yahweh. David trusted in the timing of Yahweh--never lifting a finger to Saul. Even though David had plenty of opportunities to smash Saul. Under the knowledge that Samuel anointed David king, he could have taken his crown peradventure. Yet David waited for Yahweh's plan. Saul eventually fell on his sword then David moved into further position, always seeking specific instructions and directions as to what to do.

2 Samuel 2:1
Some time later, David inquired of the LORD to ask, “Am I to move to any one of the cities of Judah?” The LORD told him, “Go.” So David asked, “To which one?” He replied, “To Hebron.”

Shall I go and where? More specific as David learn to become solely dependent on Yahweh's word.
David relied not on his skills or any other talent he possessed. But continued to demonstrate trust in Yahweh's timing. Saul on the other hand, lost the kingdom because of the exaltation of self, self-seeking and self-promotion. David's wilderness experience and waiting were designed by Yahweh for the breaking of self-exaltation. Once the time of breaking was fulfilled, then David could be entrusted as a king--that would uplift Yahweh and only Him.

We are being called in these days and times to abandon the Saul approach to leadership. We are to be humbled through all circumstances to be after the order of David. A man after Yahweh's heart, who submitted to the humbling and cleansing of self. They are trusting in Yeshua who is the author and finisher of our faith. So as we learn how to wait for the perfect timing and strategy of Yahweh. We see that He has a perfect plan for us all. If we trust in Him and not rely on self as in Saul.
