Revelation of Jesus, He is the Reason for the Season!

Luke 1:27-32; Revelation 2-3; John 3:16; Luke 2:13-14; Romans 14:11; 1 Chronicles 16:29-30

We are walking in today:  Revelation of Jesus, He is the Reason for the Season!

Luke 1:27-32  27) To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28) And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29) And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30) And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32) He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David.  We got a new revelation in You, God.  We know that we are still standing on Your promises.  Still seeking a revelation from You.  He is God and more than able!  We need a mighty move of God this morning.  Have Your way, Heavenly Father.  We worship You and thank You for being God, all by Yourself.  We turn it over to You--have your way, in the name of Jesus.  Are you ready for the word of God?
The church of Pergamos--the compromising church.  Revelation 2: 12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; (cut the sore, the rottenness--the sharp sword with two edges, the word of God is the answer to man's need and his sin--in this city it was false religion).  It fits into church history in a period of 590 A.D.  It is what some could identify as Paganism unlimited.  The church began to pull away from the person of Christ.  Revelation 2:13-17 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. 14) But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15) So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16) Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. 17) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.  Pegamus (one of the three great cities) the great religious center:  Ephesus, political and Smyrna, commercial.  Pergamos, the religious center.  Where satans headquarters was, in the most beautiful spot in that land, the devil always manages to get the most beautiful spots.  Pergamos was the center of evil due to its many pagan temples.  John says to this church--this is where satan's throne was, verse 12 and to the angel of the church of Pergamos.  This is the letter to Pergamos: fit in the period of 200 A.D. to 390 A.D. paganism unlimited.  This is the time the world entered into the church and it began to move.  This was a city labeled by many as the most illustrious of Asia.  In this city there was a temple build to Caesar of Augustus, a great healing spa there, this was a great city.  The three great cities along the coast, this church Pergamum (north) located in the north region.  The acropolis dominated the entire region of the kikus.  However Lasimicus and it became a great city under his direction and leadership.  The Great pagan temples were in Pergamos Athena, Demnton, Era, Dionysis, Epileslpiou, Zeus.   This is the city that was given over to paganism; religion was the big thing that had taken over in Pergomas.  This was the first city with papyrus used  for paper.  Lacimicus brought the city to its heyday.  The church of Thyatira--The corrupt church.  Thyiatira 590-1517 A.D. a dark period, which was inland moving away from Pergamos.  Yet they were in another beautiful area.  It was a city built for defense, but not with walls as you may think.  It was a military city, strong due to the guard that was there, but eventually fell by the enemy.  The headquarters for many of the workman or the labor unions we would identify them as.  Lydia came from Thyatira and she was a seller of purple which is really Turkey red.  Eyes like a flame of fire, feet like brass searching out judgment.  Word of commendation: verse 19 works love service faith and works and the last more than the first.  1) works (credentials of believers),  2) love, 3) faith–the sprang that, 4) service-ministry,  5) last more than the first, works increased rather than diminished.  One charge of condemnation--you tolerate the woman Jezebel and she teaches my servants,  Israel the northern kingdom, idolatry and pagan practice was mingled with Christian worship.  The period which introduced ritual worship of virgin and child, purgatory, mass set for the dead (Halloween), power and ruler ship to the pope, the church instituted the inquisition and seduced the fundamental departure of the true and Living God.  Jezebel stands in direct contrast of Lydia, I gave her space to repent of her fornication and she has not.  The apostate, the total psychological makeup.  In verse 24, those who do not hold this doctrine of those who do not know the depths of Satan I will put off the burden.   Saying to the church stand for Me, and overcome and keep My works.  The works in contrast in the works of Jezebel.  We are to rule over the nations.  The glorious appearing of our great God and Savior.  The children of Jezebel will not hear, we are looking for an individual when we are to see the spirit of Jezebel in the practice of ministry.   The intertwining of paganistic practices, Halloween-the worshiping of the dead, Christmas-the materialistic attachment to it poisoning the true light of the world, inserting a jolly old man giving gifts.  The apostate is held totally in a psychological make-up.  As the scripture says in verse 24, those who do not hold this doctrine of those who do not know the depths of Satan I will put off the burden.   Saying to the church stand for Me, and overcome and keep My works. 
Thank You God!  Let those that have ears hear, what thus says the Lord.  He has let us know that He is reveling more onto us!  That there is a door set before us that no man can shut.  Behold unto the world, a Son is born, named Jesus. This season is about our Lord.  He is the reason, why we call this season Christmas.  Don't take Christ out of Christmas!!    We have a new mindset to walk in this season!!  God is doing a new thing with us--having us to walk through the book of Revelation at the end of the year.  This revelation is showing us what we are to be focused on, not the purchase of gifts, running up credit cards and being stressed out.  We are not of this world, so we are not to be caught up in doing what the world is doing.   John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  Fiveamprayer, we have the gift that keeps on giving.  Jesus came that we would have everlasting life, that we can be washed and redeemed unto the Father.  That is a gift greater than all of the gold and diamonds in the world!!!  Are we collecting heavenly treasures or the ones that will rust and be eaten through by the moths?!  Hold on the to the reason for the season!  Rejoice with the angels--Luke 2:13-14 13) And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,  14) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.  We have a new mindset--2011 doesn't look the same, a Savior is born, thank You for the revelation of Jesus Christ!  He is the best gift of all, the gift that keeps on giving!  He calls us favored and blessed, as we unwrap this perfect gift we find that there is power in His name and in the blood He shed for us!!  Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  It is not about the presents under the trees but about the presence of the only Begotten of God!  He came that we would have life more abundantly!  He who walked among us, died  and rose after three days and sits at the right hand of the Father.  Hold on to this gift!!  This gift won't stop giving until we are filled up and overflowing with abundance.  He gives us peace that surpasses all understanding, joy unspeakable, He is our keeper late in the midnight hour.  Jesus is the only gift that keeps on giving, directing, protecting us.  He is the reason for the season!  Come, let us adore Him!  Worship Him in beauty of holiness!  1 Chronicles 16:29-30  29) Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. 30) Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.  Fiveamprayer, let us worship Him, Emmanuel!  The only gift that is omnipresent, and omnipotent!  This gift will never leave nor forsake us!  It keeps on giving!!  Fill us Lord with Your Holy Spirit!  Thank You Lord for this Revelation of Jesus Christ!  For showing us who the Father really is!  It is all about Christ!  Not going into debt or being stressed out about buying gifts.  Jesus is the reason for the season.  Teach your children the real meaning of Christmas!  There is a reason why Christmas is on Sunday, this year! Come and worship Him the Lord for His perfect gift!  The one and only gift that keeps on giving.  And oh what a gift He is!!  For God so loved us that He gave His only Son.  This gift will keep you when, others are going crazy.  This gift will show up to reconcile marriages, to redeem the lost, to grant favor in your finances--favor keeps on spending.  Give me Jesus!  That is all that I want!  All that I need!  There is nobody like Him.  No substitute for the Holy Son of our Lord!  Thank You for this Revelation of Jesus Christ!!  Joy to the world, the Lord has come.  Hallelujah!  The churches are set on fire!  Christ has been born and there is no other gift that can compare!!    We serve the God who makes the impossible, possible!  He shows up right on time and not lacking in anything.  The gift that keeps on giving that is doing a new thing.  Look at the gift that you have already been given, the gift that keeps on giving, everlasting life.  Don't get caught up in all of those other things.  Jesus is the reason for the season!  Look at who God used, Mary to bring forth this great gift unto the world.  Without Jesus coming we would still be lost.  Thank You Lord sending us a Savior!  Of revealing how important He is to our lives and how we are learning more and more about Him and You!  Thank You Lord the scales have fallen off our our eyes!   You sent the word, wrapped in flesh, delivered by Mary to be wrapped in swaddling clothes to lie in a manager!  Hallelujah God!  Joy to the world, the Lord has come!  Let Earth receive Her King!  We lift up fiveamprayer for revelation of Jesus Christ, we are not of this world, we are citizens of heaven.  We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, have them to seek Your face and Your glory!  We ask for forgiveness for being caught up in the season as the world sees it.  We know and have been taught better.  That it is a celebration of the Savior being born unto us!  The Amen entering the world, to save us!  Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation, casting our sins into the sea--remembered no more.  We ask that You teach us how to forgive like You, Lord--that our prayers are not hindered.  The gift that keeps on giving, God said make another request.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood: 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Make another request, fiveamprayer, not a Christmas list.  God granted that which you have requested.  Joy to the world!  The joy of the Lord is our strength.  You got a gift like that under your tree?!  Certainly not!!  A gift that anchors your soul?  Hold on to this word!  He is the same yesterday, today and forever!  He gives us salvation for free, those other 'gifts' cost money.  Thank You for the obedience of Rev. Christine Duncan for walking through the book of Revelation.  We must keep walking in His word.  Only God can do a bible study at 5 am in the morning!  God has given us a great gift!  Thank You for using Your vessel, fill and restore her, Lord.  Thank You for the gift that You have given, to fiveamprayer.  Continue to pray for Rev. Duncan.  Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season, the gift that keeps on giving!  The scales should be off of your eyes.  As Jesus said, let them who have ears, let them hear.  Jesus is the reason for the season!  We should be excited about going into Christmas this year!  Yea and Amen!
