Waging Aggressively.

Ephesians 6:10-13; 2 Timothy 2:3-4; 2 Samuel 11:11; Ephesians 6:14-18; 1 John 3:8

We are walking in today:  Waging Aggressively.

Ephesians 6:10-13 10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  We gotta be militant in our Christianity.  The Bible is full of military terminologies but many Christians persist in the mentality that the body of Christ is not supposed to be a militant body of people waging in a aggressive warfare against the kingdom of hell.  There are many Christians who believe that only part of the body of Christ  is to be called to fight against sin.  This subdued lie of the devil has pacified Christians to such a degree that it has become all too easy for them to say, spiritual warfare is not for me.  The Bible clearly states that there is only one type of Christian and those Christians are to be clothed with the whole armor of God.  Indeed if they are not clothed with the whole armor of God then part of the body would be left vulnerable to the attack.  If a natural solider, clothed with only part of his armor went out against his opponent to battle, he would be in jeopardy.  For the opponent would take special aim at those unprotected and vulnerable parts of the body in order to quickly wound or kill him.  Knocking him out of the fight!  Unfortunately this is exactly what is happening with this multitude of Christians today in the body of Christ.  Because they persist in the devil's perception that only part of the body is called to spiritual warfare. They have refused to suit up with the whole armor of God that He provided for us.  As a result they have left themselves vulnerable to the attacks of satan.  And so shall be the case as long as they delude themselves in this error.  Ignorant and deceived Christians who continue to be maimed and destroyed by the fiery darts of the enemy and by the power of sin.  Rendering themselves useless in a great war for the souls of men.  Does the roaring lion seek to devour only part of the body of Christ?  Should only one part of the body resist the temptation of the devil while the other part succumb?  It is high time that we face up to the fact that God has not called us to be giddy church gatherers, single's night meeting attendees, or those participating in Jesus rock concerts.  He has called us to to war against the works of darkness, both in our personal lives and in the world around us.  As Christians we are called to be vigilant soldiers, carrying out our commission at any cost--obeying the command to take Jesus to all the world.  If we are soldiers, 2 Timothy 2:3-4 3) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4) No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.  This is shown well in the the statements of Uriah to David, 2 Samuel 11:11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.  He did not want to divide his focus, being a good solider he remained in that same mindset while at home for a visit.  Fiveamprayer we have been given spiritual weapons and armor (Ephesians 6:10-18).  Corporately we are lead by Jesus, He is called our captain, Hebrews 2:9-10 9) But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.  What else can you call the church but a militant body?  If anybody claims to be a part of this body, they had better get ready for battle!  Or go and run to join the enemies ranks.  For the body of Christ is a militant, aggressive, and spiritual army.  Anything else is a counterfeit.  Many will ask but where is your love?  Jesus' example of love was engaging in a battle to the death with satan for our souls.  True love is not spending hours in front of the television or wasting time and money in shopping malls, sports arenas or recreational outings.  True love is not covering over sin with false human compassion while souls pour into hell by the thousands.  Jesus' example of love was sacrificing His life on the battlefield, called Earth.  So that we could be liberated from this tyranny of sin, satan and death.  Now we find many are saying that God has called me into just doing nothing on this Earth for eight years or God has called me to just sit here and not pray without ceasing.  These are empty excuses--that will not hold up to the truth.  That we have grown comfortable, we need to take this our battlefield positions!  There is a terrible war waging in the spirit realm--this very moment!  Which demands the strength and sacrifice of every true Christian.  Yet when you tell the average church goer, that you are to be fighting in this war too--they scratch there heads in bewilderment and say, I don't think that God has called me to do that.  What has God called you to do?  Churches have for the most part, degenerated into prosperous social clubs, full of people who are caring about themselves only and their own ambitions.  They can not truly represent the body of Christ, He never had a heart that was comforted by the things of the world.  Why should those who claim to be His followers--Jesus' true body, not be found walking in His true heart.  His heart longs to free more souls from satan's grip.  This is what His heart desires--what His heart longs for!  If anyone claims to be apart of the body of Christ and does not develop in this desire, they had better examine themselves and see if they have truly joined the ranks of God's army!  1 John 3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.  This scripture tells us that Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil. Christians today, look giddy at this section of the text and say we don't have anything to do because Jesus did it all.  What a foolish and ignorant mentality!  If the work of satan was completely destroyed, then why is sin accelerating at such a rapid pace?  Why are people, including many Christians so vexed, tormented physically, mentally sick and addicted to drugs and alcohol and given over to all kinds of perversions?  Obviously these are not the works of God--they are the work of the devil, but wait the Bible says that Jesus destroyed the works of the devil.  Theologically yes--Jesus did destroy the works of the devil.  And we see this on a small scale, every time someone is set free from satan and chooses to forsake his vices and follow the Lord.  But the world has yet to see it on a large scale.  If we are to see people being set free from sin, the way, Jesus desires them to be.  It is going to to take decisive action from the ranks of the militant Christianity.  Jesus wants to destroy the works of satan through His body on the Earth.  Whenever we pass out anointed lectures, preach anointed messages against satan, or witness to sinners, we are destroying the works of satan.  We don't destroy the works of satan, with our meaningless church programs, nor with our social activities and fellowships.  Neither by sitting in our comfortable pews on Sunday after Sunday.  Religious activity will never do damage to the kingdom of hell.  We will destroy the works of satan by taking aggressive militant action against him!  The streets of the world are satan's territory.  It is the place that we confront the enemy, not in our E-Z chair with the TV on or that expensive church building, the church building should be a place where disciples, soldiers and leaders are trained to carry out the great commission.  But instead they have become spiritual places where God's people gather together to be entertained and to prostitute themselves to every worldly thing imaginable.  How far has Christianity strayed from the true desires of God's heart?  God has armed His people with the sword of the spirit, the word of God, both spoken and written.  Yet the sword has been sheathed, by false churches and counted unnecessary.  At the same time, the true body of Christ has always obeyed the word, followed the Spirit and stood through the relentless struggles to defeat sin and to defend the faith!  Death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ was a decisive and disadvantageous blow to satan.  It gave an undisputed advantage over him.  Yes unless we press that advantage, satan will be able to pursue his merciless campaign without opposition.  If we insist upon avoiding  the issue--and neglecting our duty.  All the while, multiples of people are destroyed and we be held accountable for what we should have done.
Time out for playing church!  Some of us are just sitting there in the pews.  He gave us spiritual weapons of mass destruction last year at the conference!  We must suit up in the whole armor of God.  Are you fighting?  Are you out there preaching?  Are you searching for the lost?  We can't just sit in our four walls, that is not where our ministry lies.  We are to go into the world and tell them what Jesus did!  Are we about our Father's business, the business of the kingdom of heaven?    We must fight, the violent take it by force!  Hold your course, stand like never before.  Pick up your sword, it is time to fight!  Stop accepting anything in the church!  The church needs to speak out--say what thus says the Lord.  God knows our every step.  The church must take it's rightful place, stop sitting there and allowing all of this disorder!  It is time to call it out and to walk in His word.  Time to walk this out. We are living in revelation and somebody may be lost because the church won't open it's mouth.  The church needs to fight!  Speak out and speak God's word.  Are you searching for souls to be added to the kingdom of God?  Go out there and witness to others about Jesus!   We are to pray and not faint!  Fiveamprayer, let's pray like never before!  You are to be suited up, wearing the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, carrying the shield of faith--we have to walk this out by faith!  This is a war!  It is time to fight, it is war time!  You gotta fight for all that you wanna take back.  Take back your marriage, your children, your mind, your joy and peace.  We must fight like never before!  The devil is roaming to see who he may devour.  Get up and fight!  Get loaded and ready for war!  Be sure to collect all of your weapons and be suited up in the whole armor of God!  Tell them how good God is!  The enemy comes to take out our communication, in the hopes that we will be quiet.  Get into position on your knees in prayer on the battlefield!  This is not church as usual!  Many don't want to walk in the book of Revelation.  So many of God's people are perishing from the lack of knowledge.  We are in a war!!  Daily we must wage war aggressively against this enemy.  We must be prepared to take it by force!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
It is time to suit up for battle and to wage war aggressively!
