Wait Expectantly For God To Answer!

Habakkuk 2:1-3; Psalms 62:5, 37:7, 105:5; James 1:4; Philippians 1:6; Psalm 1:3; Matthew 19:26; Isaiah 40:31; Proverbs 3:5-6

We are walking in today:  Wait Expectantly For God To Answer!

Habakkuk 2:1-3 2) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. 2) And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3) For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.  The vision is for an appointed time though it tarry, it will come to pass--wait for it!  You gotta understand what the word says in, the NIV verse 1, I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint.  We must station ourselves if we want to get God's vision for our lives and ministries.  You must wait to hear it.  The word of God tells us that we must wait.  As the NIV puts it, we must station ourselves.  What does that mean to station yourself before God?  It means to stay put, it means I'm not moving, that I'm going to sit here and I am not going to move until I hear from You, God.  Hurry is the death of prayer.  Sometimes we feel all kinds of pressure to get in a hurry, yet God won't speak to us as we run out the door.  He wants us to come to care enough to linger and listen  in our prayer time.  So many times we are running around, so revved up, we can't get slowed down enough, or take time enough to hear from God.  We must take time to tune into God.  So how do we slow down?  You just need to calm your mind by relaxing yourself.  You need to take a couple of deep breaths and relax your muscles and let all of the tension drain out. The Bible says that David sat before the Lord.  David says that there are three things to do while you wait.  Wait quietly.  Psalms 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.  We are to wait quietly before God, and to hope in Him.  Wait patiently.  Psalms 37:7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.  We are to be still in the presence of the Lord.  Wait expectantly.  Psalm 105:5 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.  We are to wait expectantly, trusting God to help for He has promised.  But waiting is a faith factor. We wait expectantly and waiting on God is never  a waste of time!  In fact it is some of the best time you will ever invest in your life!  Wait expectantly for God to answer, fiveamprayer!!
I know that you have been praying for a while about some stuff, waiting on God to open up a door. Waiting on God in our marriage, your ministry, your children, and your finances--waiting on God to answer our prayers.  We must wait in expectancy.  We have got to position ourselves waiting in expectation.  Station yourself to hear from God.  Know that He answers every prayer. We must be stationed in His word, from Genesis to Revelation!  He has promised and will deliver!  Are you in expectancy?  Looking to receive?  Trust God, it will come to pass.  God comes to tell us this morning,  that the vision is for an appointed time, that we are to wait for it.  You have gotta understand Habakkuk 2:1-3, we are to wait on Him, He will show up with His glory!  Don't give up nor fret.  He has already worked it out. Trust and believe that every prayer and petition will be answered!  Don't move--you have an appointed time.  Keep fasting and praying.  Hold on to the word of God.  No matter how long it takes, God will show up!  He is God and can show up suddenly!  Keep trusting Him in your marriage, ministry, business, children--station yourself!  He said that He would prosper us, that many are called but few chosen.  We are to have no doubt or fear!  Wait on the Lord, no matter what you are facing or going through!  Wait on the Lord!  This is your set time for favor.  Set, station, position yourself--in prayer on your knees!  Station yourself, don't move!  You are at the eve of your breakthrough!  We wait expecting You to move God.  We will stay here , we are not gonna give up nor turn around.  We will wait for You to answer.  Like in the old days, before phones and text messaging.  Where people sent letters by courier and they had to wait days for the message to be received  and then days for the message to be considered and sent back.  The advancement of technology has us expecting things in an instant.  That is not how God works in every situation.  As Pastor Taffe preaches we have to go through the period of patience while we follow the word of God.  James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  The importance of patience and waiting become very beneficial when you read that scripture, that we would be perfect, entire, wanting nothing.  God only does complete works, He is not interested in half done projects--so we know that He that has begun a work shall continue--Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.  Prayer changes things!  We must wait in our marriages, our finances, our businesses, our children--God answers every prayer.  Don't move, don't quit.  We are blessed and highly favored!  Station yourself, plant yourself like a tree--Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.  Fiveamprayer, God is telling us to plant ourselves, to station ourselves.  You have the business plan, hold on to it!  Wait on Him for the healing of your body, station yourself!  We are to be stationed in the word of God, not moving around.  Thank You Lord, the first plan is the plan that God wants you to walk through and to walk out.  He is building us up to be stronger, wiser and better.  Will you wait on the Lord?  Don't move out of position.  The word will deliver but will you be there to sign for it?  This promise will not be left at your door step, because you decided to just run out and check on the delivery!?  It is God that goes before us making the crooked places straight.  We must be in expectancy, looking for God to answer.  Don't move--be steadfast, unmovable abiding in Him.  That sounds like what David said to dwell in the house of the Lord.  This is what we must do to see the manifestation of His power  in our marriages, that God is the God reconciliation, that a praying wife can save her husband.  He has already made a way for us!  Don't get off your destiny track, wait on God--station yourself.  No matter what others say, wait on God.  Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.  You got an appointment.  Don't turn around now!  Look to Jesus who is the Author and Finisher of our faith!  You know you better wait on God.  He called you to it and will bring you through it!  You can't give up now.  Tell your impatient flesh that, "I will station myself, I won't give up nor turn around!"  We are waiting in expectancy--like those at the bus stop or at the concourse who are waiting for their transportation.  How strange it would be to wait for the airplane at your house?!   The airplane is not set to come to your house.  We must be found where we are to receive.  Getting out of position does not speed things up, it usually slows things down, or it they are not missed entirely.  We are to keep looking and expecting to hear from God, that what He has said will manifest in our lives.  He can do more than we could ask or think--so we know that there is nothing too hard of God.  But we have a part to play too.  While waiting, what did God say for you to do?  What needs to be made ready for your expected thing to show up.  A new child needs supplies and items for their comfort, if you are to take trip, you would need a to pack a bag.  What needs to be made ready?  Is your confession constant and clear in line with God's word?  Don't let you words cancel or delay what is already on it's way to you!  Are you treating others with love and kindness as we are to treat others--to show the love of God?  Are we covering others mistakes in love or exposing them to ridicule?  Are we giving a soft answer to turn away wrath?  Are we instant in forgiving offences?  Which can sometimes seem so difficult but when we consider that we want God to forgive us instantly, so in that comparison, let us do what we see our Father do.  Free yourself and that other person too!  We are told in, Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  That is how we can wait on the Lord, that we seek Him first!  It is He that adds all these things to us.  Fiveamprayer, it waiting on God.  Waiting on the Lord, He is opening up with windows of heaven and pouring out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive!  Look to the God who can open a door that no man can shut and shut a door that no man can open.  You can't make me doubt Him!  I know too much about Him!   Keep waiting on Him!  Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.  Wait on Him to answer!  Believe it and receive it.  We have not because we ask not.  We have asked and are waiting on You to answer.  His word will not come back void, neither can it be reversed.  Stand on His word.  He will answer!  It is not a might or maybe--He will answer!    Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  Fiveamprayer is waiting on God, we are not giving up now!  We are at the eve of our breakthrough, it is darkest before the dawn.  You have gotta have that kind of faith!  Wait on God.  Look at Job, his friends and wife were looking for Him to give up and his response was, though He slay me, yet will I trust Him!  Proverbs 3:5-6 5 )Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.  We won't let go until He blesses us!  We are stationed  in the Lord!  O, if that Thou would bless us indeed!  That You would enlarge our coast, that Your hand would be with me, that it may not grieve me!  I am stationed in You Lord, casting down every imagination!  You told me a long time ago what You would do. Thank You God!  If I had 10,000 tongues I could not thank You enough.  We will wait expectantly for Your answer to be manifest in or lives!  Thank You Lord, I am waiting , I am stationed in the Lord.  We should be waiting at our God-stop the place or position that God has appointed for us to meet Him.  He can't just stand in expectancy anywhere--what did God say?.  He told us that we have an appointed time, there is also a an appointed place.  A place of patience and expectancy.  What did you ask God for?  Why would you not wait until that thing came to pass?  You have to believe to receive!    Are you believing and trusting in Him or yourself?  I will station myself, be rooted in His word.  The word will not lie, though it tarry wait for it!  This word will speak at the appointed time.  Don't give up now!  You have gotta wait!  Now is not the season to try your own thing.  Wait on God!  We are to lean not to our own understanding.  Wait on Him!  Be encouraged, do be weary in well doing.  Wait on Him!  Hallelujah God, wait on the Lord.   Fiveamprayer is stationed in the Lord, waiting on Him.  He is doing a new thing and it is marvelous in our sight!  Wait on God, hallelujah!  Don't move, no matter what attacks are coming against  you, wait on Him!  He is a way maker, a very present help in a time of trouble.  He is our Shepherd and we shall not want!  He is God and can do all things!  Wait on Him.  Many are called but few are chosen.  Station yourself in your marriage--keep waiting on God.  Station yourself in your on your job, with all hell breaking loose, wait on God.  Are you gonna move out of position?   Sometimes we are sitting there for us to learn patience and to give us wisdom, we know that all things work together to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  Wait on Him!  Enjoy where God has you.  We love the Lord and have been called according to His purpose!  Get yourself out of the way.  Thank You for moving us into position.  This a God thing, not a you-thing or a church thing!  Give Him the glory!  We are stationed and waiting on the Lord.  Thank You Lord this morning for always showing up!  It we wait on Him, He will show up!  He shows up in our prayers, that is why we are to pray without ceasing!  Wait on Him!  We lift up fiveamprayer, we are waiting on You, Lord.  We are stationed and not letting go until You bless us!    That You would bless us indeed!  We lift up prayer requests, saying that I will trust You God, though He slays me, yet will I trust Him!  We come to repent this morning for trying to figure it out, not waiting on You.  Even if you are tired and want to give up, wait on the Lord!  Even if your friends don't understand, wait on the Lord.  Thank You for forgiving us, and telling us that we must forgive others!  Fiveamprayer, let us forgive like You, casting our sins into the sea, that they be remembered no more.  Some of us have to wait because of unforgiveness.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:
I am stationed, not moving, trusting in Him!  That my response is nevertheless, Your will be done!

Welcome to the overflow...

Thank You, Lord!  Hallelujah God!  Thank You Jesus!  Thank You Holy Spirit!  The joy of the Lord is my strength!  We are waiting on You Lord!  Thank You for Your Spirit, resting on us this morning!  Can't nobody do me like Jesus! Can't nobody do me like the Lord!  He's my friend!   We have to run on to see what the end is gonna be.  The race is not given to the swift but to he that endures until the end!  Oh what a sacrifice, to lay down His life.  That we would have life and that more abundantly!  We want more of You Lord and less of us!   Fill us to the overflow!  We are freed in the waiting process.  Be still and know that He is God.  It was nothing but the Holy Ghost.  Something's got a hold of me, it was the Holy Ghost!  I won't let go, bless me indeed!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you. Walk in this word today, wait upon the Lord to renew your strength.  Run on to see what the end is gonna bring.  What a supernatural move of God this morning!  Have a blessed day!
