We are walking in today:
P R A I S E!

Fiveamprayer would like to welcome our own Minister of music, Mr.  Brown who is bringing us a word on praise!  Thank You God!  We give You praises for this on time word!  Hallelujah!  Click here to listen to this powerful word!  Amen, amen!  Thank You Lord for sending us this word through Your vessel.  We ask that You would pour back into him for all that he has poured out on this line this morning!  Yea and Amen!

 Psalm 34:1-3 1) I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2) My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3) O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
What is Praise? Webster defines praise:
As a Noun: The expression of approval or admiration for someone or something; “the congregation was full of praise”
As a Verb: Express warm approval of; “we can’t praise God enough”
Other words of praise: Glorify, extol, exalt
Praise is a directive toward God and it brings us into alignment and intimate contact with Him. When we praise God, it is like wearing a perfect fitting suit, dress or pair of shoes. That’s how comfortable we should be with our praise to God! No matter the time of day, day of the week or year, and no matter where are; home, work, church, in your car (that’s when you look crazy to others) but you know what’s going on. YOU SHOULD OWN YOUR PRAISE! Don’t be afraid or suppress your praise, no matter what.

What is Praise? It is that direct connection you have with God. Most of the Psalms were written by David in revelation received in a state of praising the Lord. The mouth is not the only instrument of praise, but the harp, strings, brass and percussion.
   Psalm 150:1-6 reads:
1)Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. 2) Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3) Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. 4) Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5) Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6) Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
In short, praise Him with all you got! Scream, shout, dance, clap your hands, stomp your feet, even simply just by calling on the name of Jesus is a form of praise as well, acknowledging that we need Him. AMEN! He loves that we acknowledge that He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, He is our all in all, He is alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. There is none other that can do the things that God can, has and will do for you. How can you not praise Him?! He wakes us in the morning, guides us through our day, brings us home at night and lays us down to rest. That’s just for starters! Just think throughout your day of all the things God does for you, really think about the things He brings you through, and you ought to start shouting, jumping and dancing, banging on things, waving your arms and giving GOD ALL THE PRAISE!
 When should we praise? What does the word say, Psalms 71:8 Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day.  So I will unequivocally say from sunrise to sunset, from the moment you wake and open eyes--that’s should be a shout right there! You should be giving God the praise! No matter what the situation is, in the good times, especially in the bad times, your last dime, car broke down, eviction notice, lights off, bills to pay--you don’t know where it’s going to come from. Lost your job, illness in you or a family member--give God the praise, because that’s when He is really listening to see if you are trusting Him. Praising Him during those difficult times, creates that bond, that link that rises you to a level, a state of being that allows you to hear God speak, to let you know, everything is going to be alright, AMEN! Give God the praise, because He will have the glory, He will show up and show out; because He is a deliverer, a Doctor,a Lawyer, your transportation, your income! You ought to Praise Him! When you are down, your praise to God will bring you up! You ought to Praise Him!
Let’s look at the other side of praise and what else it does for you. Again we go to scripture, not my words, but God's words
Psalm 8:1-2 1) O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2) Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.  So, praise is a tool we as Christians should use to give appreciation to God and just as important, hear me on this one, to SILENCE THE ENEMY, THE DEVIL! The devil is constantly at work against us, but when we lift up the name of JESUS! We are in spiritual warfare and if we mean to defeat satan, we need to lift our voice in praise. I will make the devil flee. Just the name of the Lord can be a sufficient tool or weapon; so can using the word of God, “It is written” when you are digging deep, read Matthew 4:1-11.
As a weapon, praise uses the word of God, the Name of Jesus and pleading the Blood of the Lamb! Dig a little deeper, read Matthew 28:18 and 2 Corinthians 10:4. Praise pierces spiritual strongholds! AMEN!

You ought to give Him praise! You ought to give Him praise! Right now, right where you are--give Him some praise, HALLELUJAH, GLORY TO HIS NAME! Thank You Jesus! You are so worthy! If you are able, give Him a hand praise!!

2 Samuel 22:50 says: Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name.

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:  Psalm 100:1-5  A psalm. For giving grateful praise reads:
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2     Worship the Lord with gladness;
    come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
    his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Welcome to the overflow...

1 Chronicles 16:34-36 reads:
34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.
35 Cry out, “Save us, God our Savior;
    gather us and deliver us from the nations,
that we may give thanks to your holy name,
    and glory in your praise.”
36 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel,
    from everlasting to everlasting.

Then all the people said “Amen” and “Praise the Lord.”
So, when you are hurting, can you give God the praise?
When the enemy is against you, can you give God your total praise?
When you can’t see your way out can you give God your total praise?
When your marriage is under attack, can you give God your total praise?
When your children are under attack, out of order and consumed by the world, WILL YOU STILL GIVE GOD YOUR TOTAL PRAISE?!
When you don’t know what else to do, will you still give God your total praise?
Your praise is a testimony to who God is in your life!
 AMEN!  Give God your total praise, fiveamprayer, all day today!  He is so good to us, He is good all of the time so we should praise Him all of the time!  Amen!  Let go and let God and give God the total praise!  We will bless the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in our mouths!  Amen!  Hallelujah!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!  Have a blessed day!
