Prayer Battle, In The Secret Place!

We are walking in today:  Prayer Battle, In The Secret Place!

Matthew 6:6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  Jesus did not say to dream about your Father, who is in the secret place.  He said to pray to your Father who is in the secret place!  Prayer is an effort of the will.  After we have entered our secret place and shut the door.  The most difficult thing to do is to pray.  He told us yesterday to go deeper!  We can not seem to get our minds in good working order.  The first thing we have to fight is wandering thoughts.  The great battle in private prayer is overcoming this problem of our idle and wandering thinking!  We have to learn to discipline our minds and concentrate on willful deliberate prayer.  We must have a special selected place for prayer but once we get there, this plague of wandering thoughts begin as we begin to think to ourselves: 'this needs to be done' and 'I have to do that today'.  Jesus said to shut the door.  Come out to Divine Journey tonight as we enter in to pray, shutting the door behind us!  Having the secret stillness before God, means deliberately shutting the door on our emotions and remembering Him!  God is in the secret place and He sees us differently than others do--even differently than we see ourselves!  When we live in the secret place, it becomes impossible for us to doubt God!  We become more sure of Him--than anyone or anything else!  Enter into the secret place, you will find that God is right in the middle of your everyday circumstances--all the time!  Go deeper!  Get into the habit of dealing with God about everything!  Unless you learn to open the door to God in your life, completely--letting Him in from your first waking moment, of each new day, you will be working on the wrong level.  Have God with you in the secret place all throughout the day!  Swing the door of your life open to God, pray to your Father in secret in the secret place.  Every public thing in your life, will be marked by the lasting imprint of the presence of God!  Start tonight, come out to Divine Journey at 4705 Kingston St in Denver and shut the door!  Let us do battle through prayer, in the secret place!  Amen and glory to Your name!
I don't know about you, but I love praying in the secret place!  Where I can shut the door on my emotions.  Where we can go deeper and see God!  Shut out the people that are not seeking God's word!  That we have in our hearts, not our will but Thy will be done!  He knows the plans that He has for us!  Go into the secret place for your relationships.  Shut the door and line up to see His mercy and grace!  Tune out those distractions to hear from God!  Matthew 6:32-33 32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  We are to seek, ask and knock for our Father!  Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  Shut the door, fiveamprayer--that no one can get in.  This is your time alone with God.  He who can shut a door that no man can open and open a door that no man can shut!  Shut the door on the world and look deeper to have the mind of Christ.  God will revive, restore and renew us, in the secret place!  No longer a mystery!  He shall hide us!  Thank You God for being out rest, our refuge!  That no weapon formed against us shall ever prosper!  What we do with God and for God in private will be rewarded openly!  Those things in your relationships and on your job--go to the secret place to hear from God!  He works all things together for the good of them that love the Lord!  Go into the secret place!  Luke 8:51-54 51) And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52) And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53) And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54) And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.  We are to only take in those who are of like mind with us in when we pray.  We are to shut the door on the naysayers or those that laugh us to scorn, like Jesus does in the book of Luke.  2 Kings 4:21-22 21) And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. 22) And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.  We are to shut the door and seek God as this woman did in 2 Kings.  Fiveamprayer, go into the secret place and cry out to God that He would shape us into the men and women of God that He planned for us to be.  God is opening up the windows and pouring out a blessing that there is not room enough to receive them all!  As Pastor Taffe has taught of the widow woman in 2 Kings, who has creditors coming to take her children--she has to walk in obedience of what the man of God tells her--2 Kings 4:4-7 4) And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. 5) So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. 6) And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. 7) Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.  There has to be a separation from you and the world or those attacks that are trying to come against you.  To go forth and borrow more when you already owe, that would make almost anyone leery of following that instruction!  Praying in her heart, that on going conversation that says, "ok God, I will trust You."  So she had to press in and look to God, shutting the door on how strange it may seem to others.  We are not here to impress others, they are the same as you, made of the same dust!  Maintain your focus fiveamprayer!  We are to be seeking God, go deeper!  James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.  Our aim is not to be friends nor have the approval of the world, we are seeking approval of the Lord!  Romans 8:7-9 7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.  We are reaching for that heavenly prize--so we do things differently, as God directs us!  So we will have to shut the door to walk in obedience.  Not leaving the door open for people to come in and ask you questions, 'why are you doing that?'  We must go deeper and seek Him, walk in obedience to what He has given us!  That is why shutting the door is so important!  That we make a physical and spiritual separation from the things of this world.  Go deeper!  Press into the presence of the Almighty!  He is right there waiting for you, He has been watching for us from a long way off--Luke 15: 17-2017) And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18) I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19) And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20) And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  Fiveamprayer, we have to come to ourselves and submit to God.  His way is the only right and just way!  Seek Him!  Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  God is pouring into us living water, that we shall never thirst again!   He knows the plans that He has for us!  That He knew us before we were shaped in our mother's womb.  That the hairs on our head are numbered by Him!  Shut the door on the things in your life--go deeper and seek God!  Ask Him to order your steps, thoughts and words!  We are in the secret place. Cry out to Him for what you need!  You are in communion with God right now!  Deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow Him!  In the secret place there is joy unspeakable, peace beyond our understanding.  God is covering us!  We lift up fiveamprayer, You know what we stand in the need of!  We have the door sealed with Your blood!  There is still power in the blood!  Shut the door on healing for my sister-in-law Jackie who was in a car accident, we know that You are her healer!  We come to repent, Lord.  We are sorry for turning our back on You.  We are to turn our back on the world!  We come to go deeper, seeking Your face in the secret place.  Thank You for this anointing!  Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation!  Casting our sins into the sea, that they be remembered no more!  Fiveamprayer we have to forgive others to be forgiven ourselves!

 We must take it to God. Take it to God in prayer!  Shut the door on depression and rest in His joy!  Shut the door on lack, that is a lie--we have already been made prosperous!  Shut the door on fear, God did not give us a spirit of fear, walk in perfect love, that casts out fear!  Shut the door to talk to God, face to face!  The fervent effectual prayers of the righteous avail much!  We turn it over to You, Lord!  That Your will be done, not ours!  He is more than able!  Shut the door and walk by faith, not by sight!  It is all by what You can do!  The devil is still a liar, shut him down and keep him out of your mind!  We walk in the light of truth, shine that light of the word of God in every area of your life and home, the enemy will hide from the light of the truth.  How can a lie stand in the brightness of the light of truth?!  That is why there is so many attack on us getting or hearing the word of God!  That we would not be able to see right through the lie!  Fiveamprayer, shut the door and walk in truth!  We have been redeemed, we have repented and confessed, no more listening to the accuser of the bretheren!  Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.  The devil knows his end result, but he wants to inflict as much as he can on God's elect.  We have salvation and strength from the power of Christ!  Shut the door on the attacks of the enemy, give no room to them.  Press into the presence of God!  He has all of the remedies and solutions, not only by being in His presence, refreshing us but that those 'problems' pale and vanish by comparison!  Fiveamprayer we are in the secret place!  What do you need from God?  More and more of Him!  Fill us Lord to the overflow with Your word and Your Spirit!  Give us more knowledge, wisdom and understanding of You God!  He has called us back to our knees to pray without ceasing!  To seek His face in the secret place!  Hallelujah!  Glory to Your name!  Thank You Lord!  We give you all the glory and praise!  Glory to Your name!  We lift up fiveamprayer, You know what they stand in the need of!  Have them to rest and abide in the secret place!  It is time to go into prayer!  Thank You God!  Time to pray without ceasing!  Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.  God is calling us back to prayer!  Seek Him like never before, for the world that we live in and our children!  Shut the door!  There is a shut in tonight at Divine Journey, come out and join us!  Walk in this weekend meditation all weekend!  Especially those who are not able to physically attend, thank you for agreeing with us in the spirit!  We must go in and shut the door!  We gotta get our thoughts lined up with His word!  Seek Him in the secret place, He will reward you openly.  Have a supernatural blessed weekend!  God is about to do something--don't miss the shift!  It was already done and finished before the foundation of the world.  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you!  Fiveamprayer, steal away with your Father into the secret place!  Thank You God!
