We are walking in today: Adapt To The Winter.
Psalm 62:8 (AMP) Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us (a fortress and a high tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

Isaiah 43:18-19 (AMP) 18) Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. 19) Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Joel 2:25-26 (AMP)25) And I will restore or replace for you the years that the locust has eaten—the hopping locust, the stripping locust, and the crawling locust, My great army which I sent among you. 26) And you shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord, your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you. And My people shall never be put to shame.
2 Timothy 2:3 (AMP) Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering [which you are called to endure] as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus.
Oh Father God, I come thanking You this morning. That You would come to give us a word that we must adapt to the winter season. When the enemy is coming in we can stand on His word, Isaiah 54:17 (AMP) But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. We must adapt in this winter season--in our marriages, in our finances, and with our children. Hold on, spring is coming! God is calling on His son's and daughter's--He will get all of the glory, out of everything! In every test, trial and tribulation, the glory goes to Him! How can you stand if you have not been tested? He comes in right on time! Trust in what He has done in the past, reach back and grab a hold of your testimony. It is not only for others but also as an encouragement of what God has already brought you out of. He has done it once and will do it again! Why would He deliver you back then and not now?! We must continue to labor in our marriages, our finances and with our children. Keep looking to the God who makes a way out of no way. No matter what keep looking to God, He is your keeper, your shelter, your Provider! No matter how hard it gets or how things appear. Be not moved by false evidence appearing real. Hold on to His unchanging hand, which changes not! All that He has promised shall be delivered and will come to pass. We must adapt in our winter season! Don't give up, He may be teaching you obedience to get you through. Get yourself out of the way, that you would say not my will, Lord but Your will be done! We may be in a winter season, but will shall taste and see that the Lord is good! Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Hold on to His unchanging hand, fiveamprayer! That we would press towards the mark of the high calling in Christ Jesus! In Him alone will I trust! God is the one that shall and will do it! Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) I am coming out and crossing over Jordan into my promised land! Some times it gets cold in your marriage, with your children or in your finances, even in your mind! Look to God, He is a keeper! Late in the midnight hour when the tears are falling down your face. We know that weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning! We have to learn to adapt in winter! Paul said, I die to the flesh daily! Keep on trusting God. He is the only one who is worthy and able to carry your trust! As we can see in the natural everything is showing it instability and getting ready to crumble and be dashed to the ground. God will be glorified! Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. Keep trusting God, do you see how things don't cause you to respond like you used to? We must always pray and not faint! A praying wife can save her husband. Hold on in the winter season. When the seasons change we have gotta shift with the season. We have gotta wait upon the Lord and trust in His holy word. He's never failed me yet! No matter the circumstances, even in the winter season, hold on spring is around the corner. We must learn to adapt. That we would be still and know that He is God! That we would learn how to hear God and trust in Him always! Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. What are you wrapped up in? Is it the word of God? What are you covered up in during your winter season? Is it self doubt and pity? Or the rehearsing of the nay-sayers? He came that we would have life and that more abundantly! So the instruction in the winter season is similar to what we do in the natural add more blankets and put on a sweater! Get several scriptures or even whole chapters to stand on while you are in this winter season. God's word is so good that you can layer Genesis on top of Exodus, and then Psalms! The season has grown cold and we must layer up and bundle up in the word of God! God is shaping you in this winter season! Wait on Him! It is winter in your life, you must learn to adapt. Don't die in the winter! Get ready and set your face like flint. We must dig deeper into the word. Just like in the natural you would eat more hearty foods while it is colder outside. We must also seek for more meaning in the scriptures. Do a study of a section of scripture, check out the cross references to the other scriptures. Don't let your time in the word just be a fly by night. Really spend some time in study and seeking out God! Don't die in the winter season, dig in and get you some meat! Get a word to study in your winter season. Seek Him more and more that is what this time is for. That we would focus even more on Him! Taste and see that the Lord is good! Look to Him, He is ordering our steps! No matter how it seems. I may get cold in your winter season--that you would have a time when you can't call on anybody else, call on Jesus. Look to God, He will never leave nor forsake you! Thank You God for leaving us with the Holy Spirit! Don't give up, nor bend or break! How are you gonna give up with spring right around the corner?! All the while God keeps on blessing you! Stand on His word--His grace is sufficient! Stand on His word, having done all to stand, stand therefore! Stand on His word, the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want! Stand on His word, many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all! Stand on His word in this winter season! Just add another blanket to the bed to keep warm! We need to be wrapped up in the word--fiveamprayer let us be covered up in Genesis and Job wrapped up in Revelation--saying though He slays me, yet will I trust Him! Wrap up in Psalms that you will believe to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wrap up in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Add more blankets, from Exodus and Joshua, which you have chosen this day who you will serve--the Lord God Almighty! Now is the time that we get intimate with God. Did you ever think that the distractions are all gone so that you would have more time to rest in and seek His presence?! That you basically had your schedule cleared so that you would have uninterrupted time the Father? Fiveamprayer, He is beckoning us closer to Him. That we would spend time with Him, and even reside there on a permanent basis. Luke 2:37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. We are to serve the Lord in our winter season--Dig deeper into His word! Get closer to God, He said if we would draw nigh to Him, He would draw nigh to us! Get intimate with God. He gives us joy unspeakable, that we would have peace beyond our understanding! Take on an extra comforter in Ezekiel and prophecy over yourself! No, we are not giving up! Wrap up it is cold, in Habakkuk, Jonah and Hosea. I am coming out! I win! Wrap up in the word of God Get an extra blanket today--go through the word of God from the books to the Corinthians on to Philippians, then Revelation back to Genesis. Sometimes you have to go back to the beginning. He is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him! Spring is right around the corner, the enemy wants you to die in your winter season. So many of us give up in this season. It seems way too long and way too cold. Hold on for spring! Really there are may things that we used to do, that we no longer do that were actually too long and too cold. Don't be deceived, God has a purpose for this winter season--He is building us up and drawing us closer to Him! Get your blanket from the word of God. It is His word that will keep and protect you! In our winter season, we have been struggling for quite a while. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. You know Lord what we are standing in the need of! We repent for wanting to give up because is long, cold and dark. Thank You God for bringing us Your light that warms our lives by You sending Your only begotten Son! We know that it is always darkest before day break.
We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: We will adapt in this winter season!
Welcome to the overflow...
We must make the fruits of the spirit a blanket that we are covered in, to walk out of this winter season! That we would be totally wrapped in the word of God, from Genesis to Revelation! We will brace ourselves for the long haul. This long, cold winter season we will spend seeking Your face, studying Your word. We are placing our trust in You and You alone. We no longer lean to our own understanding. Look to the Lord, He directs our path. The joy of the Lord is our strength! His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Because of who He is, the weak can say that they are strong! Get wrapped up in His word! Get ready for your winter season. That you would have fire shut up in your bones like Jeremiah, who was on fire with the Holy Ghost. That we are being lead by fire by night and cloud by day. When it gets cold, hold on there is nothing too hard for God! Adapt in your winter season. What a mighty God that we serve! He walks us through the season that we experience! Some of us have been in the cold and wanna give up. Get an extra blanket of the word of God and get wrapped up in God. Thank You God! For Your amazing grace! They that seek, will find! Visit us on facebook and take time out today to get into His word, that you would dig a little deeper! Get layered up to keep your warmth, by the word of God! Amen! Have a blessed and awesome day!
