We are walking in today: Discussing The 613 Principles
Man has always liked to pick and choose when it comes to the Lord God’s word,
but it’s time to realize that the Seventh Day Sabbath as well as the
Seven Biblical Feasts were never
abolished. We were taught that these would endure forever. We need to
understand that Jesus Christ did not abolish the 613 commandments. It is true
that no one will keep all 613 of the commandments. Most of them were
specifically for the priests, some were for men, some were only for
women, then some were for a certain point in time. While others still were related to the
Temple that is no longer standing. Regardless of who or what they were
for, they can all be found in the Torah. Everything that Yahweh told us
to do is important and we are required to follow His orders and His
“forever” commands still stand for everyone who has chosen to believe in
Yeshua. The Bible teaches us that God is the same, yesterday, today,
and forever more! The Torah itself, Yahweh’s provision, the penalty for
disobedience, and Yahweh’s promises have not changed. Jesus, His
disciples and early followers were all Torah observant so following the
Torah is not just for those of the Jewish faith. The Torah is written on our hearts,
means that we are willing to follow Yahweh’s instruction and learn and
obey Torah. Although we are saved, we are not exempt from the penalties
of sin. We are to be holy in all of our conduct. Grace isn’t meant to
cover up sins. True grace enables us to do the impossible because of
the cross and the resurrection of Jesus and it gives us the power to
obey. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Walk in humility. Choose to
be holy. Choose to follow His laws. Choose eternal life! Amen. To hear this again click here.
