We are walking in today: Principles In The
Torah, Made To Preserve Us!
Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living. This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here.
The Fourth Commandment
Exodus 20:8-11
Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it . Six days
you shall work and accomplish all your work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the
Lord , your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son, your daughter, your
slave, your maidservant, your animal, and your convert within your gates--for
in six day the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in
them, and He rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the
Sabbath day and sanctified it.
327. You shall count the Omer, seven weeks from First
Fruits, until the morrow, 50 days --Leviticus 23:15 And ye shall
count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought
the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
328. You shall bring two loaves of bread as a wave offering
on Shavout --Leviticus 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations
two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be
baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the Lord.
329. You shall have a holy convocation on Shavout --Leviticus
23:21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy
convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a
statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
330. You shall not do any laborious work on Shavout
--Leviticus 23:21
331. You shall have a holy convocation; a remembrance with
shofar blasts on Yom Teruah --Leviticus 23:24 Speak unto the children
of Israel,
saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a
sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
332. You shall not do laborious work on Yom Teruah --Leviticus
23:25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an
offering made by fire unto the Lord.
333. You shall not do any work on Yom Kippur --Leviticus
23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same
day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
334. You shall have a holy convocation on the first day of
Sukkot --Leviticus 23:35 On the first day shall be an holy
convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
335. You shall not do any work on the first day of Sukkot
--Leviticus 23:35
336. You shall offer the
fire-offering on each of the seven days of Sukkot --Leviticus 23:26
Psalm 12:6-7 6 The words of the Lord are
pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou
shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for
ever.
Fiveamprayer
we
have been given a true blessing! The walk in the Torah preserves
us! To maintain or observe in it's original state is a definition of
preserve. This is what the Torah is doing, maintaining us in our original
state! When you have the mind of Yahweh--doing His will and finish
it. Loosing His will, people operate in evil ways. Take a look at America--so
many evil and wicked things that are now often common place and not merely in
the shadows and fringes. When the people come to a place of hating evil
ways, then you are in Adonai's will. We have to return to His will and
turn from evil. Fiveamprayer, no longer chase every wickedness and
idol. We bring from the treasures of our own heart--good or evil. Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is
good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that
which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Where is your hearing--have ears to hear what the Lord God is speaking!
We are to hear with understanding. Elohim, we ask that You would open up
our understanding. We must build our house on the rock that we have a
sure foundation that you won't shake with the winds and rains come! Matthew
7:25-27 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds
blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a
rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon
that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Only in our reverence of Yahweh, you do what He commands you to do. Only
with the principle will you have a foundation. Standing on God's
principles you will hate every evil way. Beware, fiveamprayer, the
Messiah without the fear, reverence of Yahweh! To hear this again click here.
