2 Peter 1; Matthew 24:34-36; Isaiah 55:11; Matthew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3

We are walking in today:   Weekend Meditation--The True Rulebook Of The Kingdom!

Here are the next 10 principles of the Lord God Almighty. This arrangement of the 613 principles, the law of our Lord God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is from the book by Rabbi Ralph Messer, Torah: Law Or Grace? Kingdom Principles For Kingdom Living. This book can be ordered online here or in the store if you are in the Denver area here.

The Fourth Commandment Exodus 20:8-11

Remember the Sabbath day, to sanctify it .  Six days you shall work and accomplish all your work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the Lord , your God; you shall not do any work--you, your son, your daughter, your slave, your maidservant, your animal, and your convert within your gates--for in six day the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and He rested the seventh day.  Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and sanctified it.

317.  You shall not allow the fat of the offerings to remain overnight --Exodus 23:18 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.
318. You shall desist from plowing and harvesting on the Sabbath --Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
319. All males shall appear before the Lord three times a year --Exodus 34:23 Thrice in the year shall all your menchildren appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.
320. You shall not slaughter the Passover lamb while in the possession of leavened food --Exodus 34:25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
321. You shall not kindle fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day --Exodus 35:3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
322. You shall perform the incense service and offerings on Yom Kippur (Avodah) Leviticus 16
323. You shall afflict yourselves on Yom Kippur --Leviticus 16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

324. You shall have a Sabbath of complete rest on Yom Kippur --Leviticus 16:29, 31 29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you: 31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

325. You shall revere the Sanctuary --Leviticus 19:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the Lord.
326.
You shall bring an Omer of your First Fruits on the morrow of the rest day after Passover --Leviticus 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

2 Peter 1 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 12 Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth. 13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; 14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. 15 Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance. 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

With all of the denominations of the Christian faith and so many following the same Bible why is there such division?  Should man define true scripture?  Or should scripture define scripture?  How interesting that the portions of the Bible that Jesus Christ quotes from is in the Tanak the first section of the Bible.  Many Bibles even make this easier by putting what Yeshua speaks in red letters that they would stand out.  So is it possible that with His death did His teachings also die?  How can this be?  Could they be nullified because of this 'new season of grace'?  But He clearly tells us Matthew 24:34-36 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Isaiah 55:11   11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  His word is in effect until heaven and earth passes away, has it passed away?  His word goes forth doing what He pleases it to do!  Fiveamprayer we have to see the folly of this all.  How can we put the writtings of Paul above the teachings of Yeshua?  Why is that the case in many churches?  We have yet another question before us how do we get the New Testament without the Old?  We will even find in study how much of the Tanak is found in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament).  That even Jesus Christ quoted from it, Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.  Let us turn away from the Greek mindset to a Hebraic mindset.  The Bible was written by Hebrews for Hebrews!  Most confusion is cleared up with study from a Hebraic mindset.  Fiveamprayer it is time to walk with the true rulebook!  Take time out to really study and see where this all came from.  No more putting Paul's teachings above the word of the Almighty God, the word made flesh Jesus Christ of Nazareth!  Thank You Lord God for giving us knowledge, understanding and wisdom!  Open up our eyes that we see things clearly, Adonai!  Giving us clear understanding Elohim!  We come before you and repent for the errors we have walked in.  We turn from those errors to truth!  Blessed be Your name, Avinu Malkenu, our Father, our King!  All glory and honor and dominion and power forever!  Out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let it be established--find a scripture in the Brit Chadasha go back to the Tanak and find the witness--where it originated from!  To hear this again click here.
