Genesis The First Smooth Stone--Lineage Of Man After The Flood

 Genesis 10,11; Ephesians 1:1-10; Luke 17:26, Deuteronomy 30; Psalm 22

We are walking in today:  Genesis The First Smooth Stone--Lineage Of Man After The Flood

This morning we are looking at the generations of Noah, after the flood washed away all the wickedness.  We get a listing of the children and children's children of Noah and where they migrated to after Adonai confounds the language due to them building the tower of Babel.  Genesis 11:4 (NIV) Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves; otherwise we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.” Which is interesting to see that they thought they would be scattered if they did not make a name for themselves in building the tower.  We have to be careful of what it our motivation--often times we are doing the right thing for the wrong reasons!  Being out of position or order with Elohim will lead to correction by Him. Genesis 11:6-7 (NIV) 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”  This event caused all of the people to gather together according to language and migrate all over the globe.  Also the large land mass Pangaea as time passed began to divide and separate the people even more.  With study of the characteristics of the fathers of the nations we can even trace a path that they followed from when the ark rested from the receded waters, to the lands and countries they are in now.  From Noah and his offspring come the 70 nations that are mentioned throughout the Bible, that we are all some how linked or connected to throughout our own bloodlines until this very day.  To hear more of this message click here.
