you argue his case? Whoever pleads his case will be put to death by morning! If Baal truly is a god, let him defend himself and destroy the one who broke down his altar!”
Torah: Genesis 26:20
Prophets: Isaiah 45:9; Hosea 4:4
Writings: Job 33:13; Psalm 35:1; Proverbs 3:30, 25:8
Job 40:2 “Do you still want to argue with the Almighty? You are God's critic, but do you have the answers?”
We have to understand that conflict is how the Most High develops leaders!! For those you walk with and if your are not able to get through the conflict, you were not meant to walk together!! It is in these areas of conflict that leaders are shaped--this training process reveals and builds discipline and integrity. When the ministry and those ministry leaders are standing on biblical foundation and principles, the world is impacted by the influence of heaven operating here on the Earth! For He must prepare those who are to influence others to return to His kingdom principles and statues! Fiveamprayer, understand that conflict is not proof of sin but can be sinful it not addressed in a biblical fashion!! We will continue to teach on the law of conflict, during this tongue fast!
Matthew 5:25 “agree with your adversary quickly”
If you have a tendency to be contentious or argumentative, remember that it costs you absolutely nothing to respect someone’s opinion—especially on matters that have no eternal consequences.
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: I will resist becoming contentious by respecting everyone’s right to have his own values and views.

As we continue the 30 days of taming the tongue. We have encountered many evils of the tongue, but still, have ways to go. Coming to the argumentative tongue and we all know someone--even ourselves that carry the characteristic trait of being argumentative. The idea that everything is up for confrontation and argumentive sake needs serious review!
Unlike divisive people, whose actions destroy unity between parties, argumentative people enjoy directly resisting anyone whose viewpoint is different from theirs. In fact, they seem to stay on high alert for anything they can discuss that will get someone else on the defensive. Never without fodder for a verbal fight, they can always depend upon any discussion of religion or politics to produce unending quarrels.
Another reason some people resort to quarreling is to bolster their own self-worth. They can only feel good about themselves by attacking the validity of other people’s opinions, philosophies, or beliefs and then maneuvering them into defending their position. The quarreler’s goal is not to add value to someone’s life by showing him the error of his way. In fact, Mrs. Quarreler would be greatly disappointed if her target responded, “Oh, thank you for shedding light on this matter.
Proverbs 17:14 “Beginning a quarrel is like opening a floodgate, so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out”
