1 John 3

We are walking in today:  No More Toleration!! It Is Confrontation Time!! Part 9, Jezebel Operates Through Lawlessness!!

Teaching from Unmasking The Jezebel Spirit by John Paul Jackson

Witness destruction throughout the Bible:  H1100 bĕliya`al spelled beit, lamed, yod, ayin, lamed--wicked, ruin, destruction

Deuteronomy 9:5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the Lord sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Torah: Deuteronomy 13:13
Prophets: 1 Samuel 1:16, 2:12, 25:17, 25:25, 2 Samuel 20:1
Writings: Judges 19:22, 20:13; 1 Kings 21:10, 21:13; 2 Chronicles 13:7

Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

1John 3:4 CJB Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah — indeed, sin is a violation of Torah.

Gestation Time
A Jezebel spirit matures over time. This developmental process involves individuals gradually accepting demonically inspired thoughts. Over time, these thoughts become justified in their minds and lead them to take actions which they believe are from God.

Counterfeit Voices
The Jezebel spirit is a treacherous impostor within the Church. It counterfeits the true prophetic gift, and it imitates and maligns the proper function of prophetic ministries. Other darker counterfeits to the prophetic—psychics, clairvoyants, palm readers who practice witchcraft, divination, and sorcery—have arisen to speak about the supernatural. However, a Jezebel spirit is more deceptive, simply because it is less obvious to the untrained eye, and it parades on scriptural grounds.

Allowances For The Immature
A clear distinction must be made between an immature prophetic person and someone who has a Jezebel spirit. Those who are prophetically immature are merely trying to find their rightful place in the body. They may lack wisdom and humility, however, their intention is not to destroy the church. Overly eager and immature prophetic individuals will do things that seem foolish or unwise. But just as we don’t kill our children for their immaturity, neither should we kill those who are in prophetic infancy. Pastors and leaders must make allowances for a young prophetic individual’s childishness. A young prophetic person begins with a heart to serve God. Those operating with a Jezebel spirit may have started out with a heart to serve God, but at some point, they have departed from that path into one of self-promotion. Several additional points of departure are described more fully below.

1. Selfish Ambition
Individuals with a Jezebel spirit, loving the acclaim of others, will often give themselves a title or seek after a leadership position. Demonstrating elitism, they will regard a certain position as being “the most anointed” and dismiss another as being “less anointed” or as not having a voice in the church or in spiritual matters.

Philippians 2:3 CJB Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each of you esteem others better than himself.

2. Personal Gain
While a prophetic person goes through a costly breaking process, an individual with a Jezebelite rarely makes such sacrifices. For the most part, a Jezebelite will express a persistent drive to demonstrate his or her “prophetic insight.” In doing so, he or she has an ulterior motive and will insist upon some sort of payback—recognition, fame, money, clothing, or various privileges lavished upon him or her by individuals easily infatuated with supernatural insight.

Nehemiah 5:14-19 CJB
14 Besides that, from the time I was appointed their governor in the land of Y’hudah, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of Artach’shashta the king — that is, for twelve years — neither I nor my colleagues drew on the governor’s living allowance. 15 The earlier governors, before me, had burdened the people, taxing them more than one-and-a-half pounds of silver shekels for food and wine; and even their servants lorded it over the people. But I didn’t, because I feared God. 16 Moreover, I put all my energy into working on this wall. We didn’t buy any land, and all my servants were gathered there for the work. 17 There were 150 leaders and other Judeans who ate at my table, besides those who came to us from the surrounding nations. 18 Every day one ox, six choice sheep, and fowl were prepared for me, and every ten days a supply of all kinds of wine. Yet in spite of all this, I never claimed the governor’s allowance, because the people were already bearing the heavy burden of their labor. 19 My God, remember favorably everything I have done for this people!

3. A Lust For Life
Sensual appetites will often run rampant in individuals who operate with a Jezebel spirit. A spirit of lust will eat away at their soul until it gains control of them. Such lust is not simply sexually oriented. Money, favor, or recognition may feed their ambition and offer desired results. An insatiable thirst for self-indulgent pleasures will grow. Conversely, the work of the Cross will cease to be manifested in this person’s life.

4. Demonic Entanglement
As individuals approach an intermediate level of demonic entanglement, their purposes will become more cunning and deliberate. These individuals will try to control the actions of friends, families, and churches.

5. A Spirit of Lawlessness
Lawlessness is a term used to describe people who are not restrained or controlled by the Most High’s word. Rebellion against His word is lawlessness. Those who sacrificed Yeshiah are characterized as lawless. The leaders of the end-time rebellion, the Antichrist, is called the man of lawlessness.

Acts 2:23 CJB This man was arrested in accordance with God’s predetermined plan and foreknowledge; and, through the agency of persons not bound by the Torah, you nailed him up on a stake and killed him!

Proper Protocol
By speaking against the Most Highs appointed leaders, seeds of destructions are sown. Even if your pastor or leader is angry and controlling like Saul, you must demonstrate a heart like David. David waited for the Most High to intervene and deal with Saul. Let the Most High judge your leader or pastor. We erroneously think that because their gifts continue to be used, their actions are sanctioned by the Most High, and are not. They are out of protocol the proper procedure to carry about correction from the Torah.

1 Timothy 5:19 Do not receive an accusation against an elder except from 2 or 3 witnesses.

Mathew 18:15-18
15 “Moreover, if your brother commits a sin against you, go and show him his fault — but privately, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. 16 If he doesn’t listen, take one or two others with you so that every accusation can be supported by the testimony of two or three witnesses. 17 If he refuses to hear them, tell the congregation; and if he refuses to listen even to the congregation, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax-collector. 18 Yes! I tell you people that whatever you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.

Mathew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!

The Mystery Of Deception
A religious truth the one can know only by revelation. Thus the involvement of lawlessness entails being deceived. The individuals who are walking in lawlessness do not know they are practicing lawlessness, due to being blinded by the influence of Jezebel! Mislead by mental strongholds of self-righteous thinking and are fooled into thinking their actions are of the Most Highs will. This goes from the family unit to economic and financial institutions. The mystery of lawlessness has been and still is active and prevalent in our culture of today. When lawlessness is practiced, it becomes much easier to do it again unto perfection of submittance is obtained--they become lawlessness.

Ecclesiastes 8:5-6
Whoever obeys his command will never come to harm, and the wise person will know the right time and judgment. For to everything, there is a right time and a judgment since people are greatly troubled by uncertainty over the future.

Some Basic Assumptions
Premise 1: The Most High is infinitely wise and insightful. His Knowledge is complete it extends to the past, present and future.

Premise 2: The Most High establishes all authority in its position.

Premise 3: The Most High allowed the decisions to happen that placed our pastors and leaders in our lives, knowing exactly what he or she would do.

Premise 4: Having infinite awareness the Most High is not surprised by what leaders and pastors are and are not doing. He sees and knows.

Premise 5: If the Most High thought it important to stop the course of actions in your pastors and leaders, He would.

Premise 6: The Most High may be using the situation to correct you or the pastor/ leader.

Premise 7: In showing mercy to your leaders and pastors, and mentors. You will, in turn, receive mercy from the Most High.

Mathew 5:7 How blessed are those who show mercy! for they will be shown mercy.

Premise 8: To challenge theses authority figures. In moral failure, financial impropriety, teaching heresy, rage or uncontrolled emotions. Is to act presumptively as though we are the Most High. The consequences of such behavior can be very detrimental.

Looking in the reflection of the Torah we can who He intends for us to be! As He restores and rebuilds us--complete yet flawed unto perfection. Life itself revealed as a conquering growth to perfection. The keys opening doors that need to be confronted then shut on the roots of lawlessness. One more tentacle severed from the attachments of this spirit.  Shema Selah let us pause and consider this teaching that we would not walk in lawlessness to our own destruction!! Facebook LIVE video
