2 Samuel 22:28 You will save the humble people; But Your eyes are on the haughty, that You may bring them down.
James 4:6-10 6 But the grace he gives is greater, which is why it says, “God opposes the arrogant, but to the humble he gives grace.” 7 Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you. 8 Come close to God, and he will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people! 9 Wail, mourn, sob! Let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy into gloom! 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
Too many times the mixture of philosophy and theology can come from ones we love and trust. But the advice, unless we know better can cause us to believe in anything and everything other than the Most Highs teachings and instructions. We are instructed to lean not to our own understandings, but trust in The Most High with allhw up. Related to being proud the refelection that has on the family can led to developing a sense of arrogance and many more negative characteristic traits. So for those who may had this in their childhood--not knowing that these were attachments of the Jezebel spirit in full rebellion against any and every one even themselvyes. With ears of counseling and studying which can amount to a band aide placed on the wounds, but not true healing. They masked themselves into denial and many traits of this spirit, giving the appearance that life was pointless. Yet the Most High is ever watchful--our plans are not His plans. The point of brokenness can cause the hardest to humility--that only the Ruach HaKodesh can heal and lead a heart that is willing to acknowledge and confront itself when illuminated with truth. Fiveamprayer, we all have to take a good look in the mirror and find--the enemy is me. As He keeps teaching us we will be refined until we I look again and see the image and likeness of the Most High. Shema Selah let us pause and consider this weekend meditation!!
