We are walking in today:  Check Your Conversation.

2 Peter 3:11
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.  God has taught us the meaning of decree.  God shared with us on yesterday blessings and cursing cannot come out of the same mouth!!  Now, check your conversation!!!  God is a all knowing God, the word says, you have not cause you ask not!  You already asked God in a past conversation to provide all your needs.  Now let that conversation dissolve all doubt in your mind!  God will provide!!  The word says, seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved! Keep your conversation holy!  Keep your conversation godly!  Psalm 50:23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. This is a season to check our conversation with God.  God is doing a new thing in our conversation.  Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.  Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  Let's walk in the conversation God has given us.  Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdomMatthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.  Ephesians 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearersColossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.  Check Your Conversation!!!
You know that God is dealing with out mouths!  First we learned to decree a thing, then not to speak both blessings and curses,  this morning He comes to ask us what is our conversation about?  Are we speaking His word at all times?  Being the children of God, our conversation needs to be seasoned with His word.  How can we decree a thing, speak blessings and then have a ungodly conversation?!  It is all about Him, our lives and our words!  He is the Way out of no way!  No matter how it looks in the natural--we are to bless the Lord at all times!!  Psalm 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  What did His word say?  Are you speaking His word in that conversation?  His word is always true and we are to be the bringers of the the truth unto the world.  1 Thessalonians 5:14-16 14) Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16) Rejoice evermore.  At work are you lifting up His name?  Telling others all that He has done for you?  How He keeps blessing and keeping you?  How He has covered and provided for you in the world's uncertain season?  Giving you overflow and 1000 fold blessings?  How He has poured out an overmeasure of His word that has blessed, restored and renewed you!  How you have every thought answered--tell 'em how good He has been and continues to be!  Tell them, Psalm 21:1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!  This week God let us know that we are all kings and this scripture lets us know we shall joy in the strength of the Lord!  Are you sharing your testimony, to help get someone else out?  Don't get caught up in other conversations.  Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. That is how we overcome the enemy, so why are you not sharing your testimony so that others can come out.  The Lord is our Shepherd, and He wants not one of His sheep to be lost!!  Luke 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?  How will they know if we don't tell them?  Mark 16:15-16 15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  That is why what we speak is so important.  Not only is God listening, but many in the world are starving to hear His word.  You may be the only Jesus that they come across!  Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.  Are you giving a true and accurate example of a believer?  So, fiveamprayer what are you talking about?!  Don't get caught up in just any conversation, without turning it back to God.  We are the salt of the earth.  Matthew 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.  In the natural, the history of salt was very important to many people. For preserving, purifying, and seasoning of foods.  The obtaining of salt was considered as part of ancient Roman soldiers wages.  The more that we study, His word we find that we are in constant need of being in His presence to be strengthened.  To strive for what He originally intended us to be.  His word is the treasure--it preserves us, purifies us and seasons our conversation!  Fiveamprayer, I implore you to keep in the word and stay in the word, even in your conversations!  Stand, trust and don't waiver on His word!  Does the person on the other side of the conversation know that you are a child of God?  Are you speaking the truth in love?  Do you have a soft response?  As Pastor Taffe spoke on last night, it is time for a self check--that person that you are speaking ill about is the same person that Christ died to save.  Who are you to determine if they are worthy or not?!  Thank the Lord that He takes His own council, otherwise you may not have made the cut.  Someone at some point probably thought the same about you.  Praise the Lord, His mercy endures forever!!!  God is coming to get us straight with our mouths.  There is too much power there for Him not to correct us and redirect us.  Would you give a sports car to a person who just got there driver's permit?  So there is time for practice and better understanding before you can just hand over those keys to that much horsepower!  The same is true here, God is growing us up in our mouths.  By what and how we speak.  There can be a mighty move of God and then we speak against it and tear it all down!!  So instead of tearing down your brothers or sisters, pray for them and speak to them God's word on the situation.  His word will dissolve fear, doubt and depression--John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  Check your conversation, it should be holy and focused on God.  Sometimes you are standing around and hanging out--what is the conversation about?  What is it being seasoned with?  The salt of truth?  Or other spices of the world--deceit, greed, jealousy, pride?  Stop speaking outside of God's word!  Turn that conversation around to He that is worthy of all of the glory!  I will bless the Lord at all times!!  Share how God has favored you and is doing a new thing in your life.  What is your conversation about?  You know that He is listening to everything that we utter.  We will have to account for it all.  Hebrews 2:1-3(AMP) 1) SINCE ALL this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away. 2) For if the message given through angels [the Law spoken by them to Moses] was authentic and proved sure, and every violation and disobedience received an appropriate (just and adequate) penalty, 3) How shall we escape [appropriate retribution] if we neglect and refuse to pay attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered to us, letting it drift past us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself], and it was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally heard [Him speak].  Many are in complaint, that God is not fair.  That is a true statement.  Let them know that we have not received all that our actions, words and thoughts have purchased!  Thank You Lord for your mercy!!  Thank You for being unfair, not giving us what we have earned, and some of us put in overtime in doing the wrong things!!  Thank You for the blood that washes, redeems and restores us back into Your presence.  This is the conversation that we should be having, not random conversations about things of little import.  When your friend is in need of a word from God, is that what you speak?  Or do you come into agreement with the the woe is me talk?  Or do you stand on that God is a way maker.  Are you encouraging them or co-signing nonsense?!  We are called to encourage each other.  That is another way that we can show the world our love.  Hebrews 3:12-14 12) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13) But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14) For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;  Let your minds be transformed and renewed with God's word.  Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.  We are given instructions to keep God's word in our mouths.  Why are we speaking about anything else?!  Fiveamprayer, we need to have our mind, our mouth and spirit all lined up with His word!  It is time to shut down that idle conversation.  When someone asks you how are you doing, your response should be from His word.  "I am well able to overcome anything in this day, because I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me!  Or, I am abundantly blessed because, Jesus came that I may have life more abundantly!"  We walk by faith and not by sight.  What are you talking about?  Your children are listening.  And children will repeat what they hear, what are they saying?  That is a sure way to see what you have been talking about!  Love covers a multitude of sins, cover those who are against you in love instead of trying to win people over to your side.  There is only two sides, God's side and the other side!  We are to build each other up and strengthen other believers, encourage them, pray for them.  We are not called to spread the bad news about others, we are called to share the gospel with the world!  Let not corrupt communication come from your mouth!!  Sometimes we just need to be quiet and hold our peace.  We are gonna get this mouth thing together!!  Speaking His word, only and always!  We are more than able, by the hands of our God to accomplish all that He has set before us!  God has been so good to us!  He has brought us from a mighty long way!  Thank You Jesus!  Thank You Lord!  We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.  He is a keeper and healer.  He told us we were to be blessed in the city and in the field.  Thank You Lord that we are blessed and highly favored.  God knows the plans that He has for us!  He gets gooder and gooder!  We know where our help comes from, if comes from the Lord.  He has been there for each of us!  Even when we walked out, on Him.  He was still there.  He is a reconsider in marriages, a provider for all of our needs, healer from any attacks in our bodies.  God can do it, nothing is too hard for Him!!  With God all things are possible!!  God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.  John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same God that gives us living water--what are you talking about?!  Is it encouraging or doubting, agreeing with nonsense.  Stand on the prayer of Jabez--we believe what God said.  Thank You Lord for correcting us.  Proverbs 3:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.  Fiveamprayer, it is time to check your conversation, what are you talking about!?  We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, bless them Lord for what they stand in the need of.  We come to ask for forgiveness for talking about people, instead of encouraging and praying for them.  Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation and casting our sins into the sea, remembered no more.  Teach us Lord how to forgive like You.  To let go of the the former conversations of dislike and take on Your conversation of love with all that we meet!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood:  1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Welcome to the overflow...
Let your conversation be what Jabez said, that Thou would bless me indeed, enlarge my coast and to keep Your hand on me and keep me from evil.  That I may not be grieved!  Fiveamprayer, we are to pray without ceasing.  Behold, God has done a new thing, shall ye not know it?  Check your conversation today.  Thank You Lord!  Watch what you speak!  The words of a king have power and are lawful.  Be mindful of what words are coming out of your mouth.  God is listening--what are you talking about?!  Visit us on facebook, it will encourage you.  Have a blessed day!
