We are walking in today: In This Season God Is Saying, "Prove Me!"
Malachi 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3 is one of the few places in scripture where the Lord says, "prove Me". In other words, test me, and see if I don't do it! I know we are being tested in our finances, but this is the season God is saying "prove Me". Most believers are saying I can't afford to tithe right now. This is also an area God is testing our faith in Him! God says, "now prove Me--Don't experiment with Me, but prove Me. How can we prove God? How do we prove God? Listen to Malachi 3:10, Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, I will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings. Ask God right now to ignite your faith. We need to catch on fire right now and start tithing, because the word says in, Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. We prove God when we fix our eyes on definite and declared results. It is not the result of spiritual experiment will take us, but proving has a foregone conclusion. What is proof? There will be meat in my house. God has the ability to address every need of life. I will open up the windows of heaven! I will pour out blessings! We will never be overwhelmed by the grace of God through experimentation. We expend our energies in accomplishing our proof toward God by bringing the tithe. There is another note from this text found in Malachi, not only is God an unchanging Lord of hosts; He is the Lord of hosts a demanding Lord; He is also a reprimanding Lord. In that proving of God, there is also the urgency of immediacy. Prove Me now here with, saith the Lord of hosts. There is the immediacy of God's command to our life. God has expectancy that we will follow His instructions without delay. There is an urgency for our obedience. Fiveamprayer, ignite your faith by tithing!!!!
God is letting you know, He is the provider, not the money. Prove Him now!! Where ever you attend church and are a member, take in your tithes and offerings. Prove Him, test Him--Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? So not only is God not a man that He should lie, but He also makes good on all that He has spoken. Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Because of their giving unto the ministry, Paul shares God's heart with the Philippians. This scripture only applies when we are obedient in our tithes and offerings unto God's work. This is not to say that He has need of our money--Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. As the Creator of all things, there is nothing that God does not own. Psalm 50:14-17 14) Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15) And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16) But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17) Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. Fiveamprayer, let us no longer cast His words behind us! Let His word lead us into a closer relationship with Him. All of this talk about trust and faith is for us to come closer and behold who God is. Pay your vows to the most High, your tithes, your worship and praise! So many make claims on the blessing of God and then walk in disobedience to His word and can't figure out why the blessings have not shown up? Really hear God this morning--to prove Him!! His word is true, now is the time to line up with His word!! Walk in obedience to Malachi 3:10, so that there will be meat in My house. 2011 has been our year of abundance. How can God trust you with more, if He can't trust you with the little?! We must move in obedience to His word, immediately!! No more time for delay or wavering. Prove Him! In your health, by His stripes, I am healed! In your finances, paying tithes and offerings to your church, we can claim that He shall supply all of our needs! God is doing a new thing, shall we not know it? We serve the God of grace, the God of mercy, the God of peace, the God of favor, the God who can't fail, the God who goes before us, the Alpha and Omega. Prove Him now with your tithes and offerings! It is by your faith, fiveamprayer! Line up with His word. No matter what, or how it appears--we walk by faith and not by sight. He is more than able, more than victorious, but will you trust in Him? God knows what you are facing, what you are going through. Prove Him, now in your finances, in the midst of what you are going through--are you trusting in Him or looking for another way out!? We serve the God of the overflow, overmeasure, overplus and we can't trust Him enough to pay our tithes and offerings? Prove Him and see if He won't open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive!! He is able! Set your faith on fire in your finances. Prove Him, this is your time and season. He will give unto you--Malachi 3:11-12 11) And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. 12) And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts. When you have the concept sacrifice of giving, you will come to understand that God recognizes sacrifices. Not that sacrifice will turn away what comes from our disobedience. 1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. So, line up with His word, fiveamprayer! He said, "prove Me". We know that His word does not return void nor can it be reversed, it will do what He sent it out to do. Don't let the devil attack you by saying that you can't give. The truth is, you can not afford not to give!! Read Malachi 3:11-12 again, look at what God keeps from you when you line up with His word. So that means while you are out of order and not tithing, what is all of these difficulties in your finances. Extra charges, things breaking down, and just all manner of things that are taking up even more money that you don't have. See what happens when you put your trust in earthly things?! They fail, the money does not really care how it is spent, but it does not create more of itself. The true prosperity and peace is only found in Him. There are so many testimonies of people lining up with His word in this area and tithing and things turning around so much so that it could not be explained. So you know that it was all God! This all comes down to trust. Do you trust your job? bank account? cash? Remember who owns and controls it all, how strange that we put so much stock in the creation over the Creator! Let us look to He who is mindful of us and so in love with us that He sent His only begotten Son to redeem us back to Him!! That is a move of love that is worthy of all the praise, honor, glory and trust!! Fiveamprayer, keep walking in the prayer of Jabez, He knew how to call on the God of Israel. To prove Him, by walking by faith and not by sight. The God that we serve, brings us into His marvelous light! Waking us up to brand new mercies every day. It is He that sets up the hedge of protection around us. Ask Isaac who sowed when there was a famine in the land. Isaac being faithful, showed God where his trust lied, in the Almighty! Genesis 26:12-13 12) Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 13) And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great. In Isaac we have a great example of proving God, of being obedient to His direction, and trusting in Him in spite of how things look in the natural. Fiveamprayer, this is your season of abundance. Overflow blessings and mighty out pouring in your lives!! God is not a man that He should lie. Prove Him now and bring your tithes into the storehouses, there may be meat in His house. Time to line up in the word and to walk in it. Do not delay nor waiver. No checking for back up plans, God is the one who has the plan. We are really fooling ourselves to think we have a plan. Be faithful to what God has told you to do. When God gives an order, we must move quickly--especially when it is a sacrifice. An abundant blessing that you can't explain where it comes from is just up ahead. This is the season to prove God, with your tithes and offerings, take them to the storehouse. We must seek Him--Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Ask Abraham and Isaac--all throughout the bible, His word is tested and comes back true every time. Prove Me, this is personal, God will open up a window and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive. Try Him in that area that hurts the most right now, your finances. God is the provider, not the money! He is Jehovah Jireh! He is my Jehovah Jireh! Somethings need to be broken off right now!! All of this trust that we have misplaced, for starters!! We need to just sit there and trust Him and to walk out His word. He supplies all of our needs according to His riches in glory, so it is according to His riches, not our own. We don't have the way out, it is only found in Him. So why are we looking anywhere else!? Get out of yourself and operate in the spirit-man. Prove Him, don't doubt or waiver, we will be able to tell the world how our God made us great during the world's recession! Prove Me. Prove Me. Prove Me. I AM, Jehovah Jireh! Hallelujah God!! Praise His holy name! You know you hear Him talking to you! In a financial storm, have no fear. There is a release in the atmosphere--thank You, Lord! Now that we are lining up with His word, and walking in obedience, He can open up the windows to pour out a blessing that there is not room to receive. All because you let God prove it!!
