We are walking in today: The End Of Self, Is A Good Place To Be.
Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them. It is obvious that so many believers are growing weary in these dark days of oppression, that we live in. Struggles are around us at every corner and it is hard to stave off the growing fears of uncertainty. We were told in scripture that these times would come and test the faithful, but how do we keep standing when the ground is trembling and darkness is filling the sky? Fear is a tool that the enemy uses to take your focus from the truth. When you understand that your hope in Christ is secure, you can cease striving. There is nothing that is going to destroy a believer who is holding onto the promises that Jesus died to give. Your future is never determined by your circumstance. Trials that you face are only the wind that brings you closer to God. Every single one of your struggles are used by God to equip you for the battle that come against you. Throughout the bible, God allowed His people to be taken to the end to their own strength, but yet were conquerors over all that came against them. It was in the lion's den that Daniel watched as His God shut the mouths of the lions and brought him safely out. The three Jewish boys were bound and thrown into the furnace for refusing to bow in worship to Nebuchadnezzar. Yet it was there that they came face to face with the Son of God who protected them from even the smell of fire and smoke. Young David, ran against the giant Goliath, in the power of the God, in whom he trusted. He never doubted, that his God could save him--as he killed that heathen Philistine with just one stone! King Hezekiah cried out to his God for help when the Assyrian army was surrounding his people on all sides. He had no power to face this mighty army, but his God did! We are told in 2 Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses. It was God who fought their battle and saved them. You need to understand clearly that when you are in Christ, you are a force to be reckoned with! Beloved you must understand that no battle you ever face is hopeless. You don't need to run from your problems; you just need to turn to your God! Never lose faith when you get to the end of your ability, for it is at that point you discover the all-encompassing power of God! Jesus paid the price for our redemption and to give us a future with hope. The enemy may prowl around trying to rob you of your joy, but he can never steal the future that Christ paid with His blood. Death has no sting--for Jesus overcame the grave. All of your momentary trials are working out a divine purpose to prepare you for the royalty that awaits you in eternity. Your painful situation has a time to end. God knows how to take you form your distress and into His peace if you will just surrender to Him!
The enemy does not want you to get this word, this morning! So many of us are saying that we are at the end of our selves. God comes to tell us this morning, that is a good place to be. Now that we have emptied ourselves, there is all of this room for Him. No more questions if He is sure and is this really the way. We have come to a place of not being able to do anything else and handing it all over to Him!! Which for many of us flies against what we have been taught in the natural, being responsible for yourself and there is always a way out. We go all around looking and searching to find that our ways are not sufficient. At the end of self, we can surrender and take hold of God in a different way--trusting Him. No longer holding out for a back up plan, there is no other option available!! Really, it is coming to know and realize everything else was just a distraction to your blessing, of God showing up mighty because you would not let go and trust in He who is the only one worthy of blind trust! It is time for a self check--are you trying to handle something that is God's business?! He is in control. God is able and has predestined your whole life. Don't allow your circumstances determine your outcome. It is not over until God says. Be not fooled by the tricks of the devil to have you put down your faith and belief, for your own limited abilities. That is why many of us are wearied, from trying to do God's job! The devil likes to attack while you are wearied--with so much that seems like it is heaping up problems on top of situations on top of circumstances with an issue to top it all off. But who are you trusting in?! Who will deliver you?! If you would lay it all down, trust and believe--stand on His solid word, you would be able to truly rest in Him and behold His handiwork in your life! Fiveamprayer, this is our year of abundance!! We come together to stand and trust in Your word! Don't faint, the the end of self, is a good place to be!! But you say that you have been praying and fasting and don't know what else to do. You say that you are at the end of your rope and feel that you are about to slip off. Genesis 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. Many of us are wandering around looking for a place to rest, to land, God's hand, His presence is the best place. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hold on to God, fiveamprayer and let go of self!! Surrender and really give it all over to Him. Don't go back and pick it up! We must lay aside every weight, that so easily besets us! He is more than able!! The Lord has made us victorious!! Not our will, but Thy will be done!! We must surrender in our marriages, the end of self is a good place to be. More of You God and less of us! Surrender in our finances, the end of self is a good place to be. He is our Jehovah Jireh, He is our provider, not the money. Surrender in our minds, the end of self is a good place to be. He is Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace. He keeps us in perfect peace with our minds stayed on Him. Every where we turn He keeps on coming with the truth, to liberate His children from the lies. You don't have to know the outcome!! James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Fiveamprayer, we can trust that anything that God gives us is something that we will want to keep. He is not trying to trick you!! He loves you and is mindful of you. Hebrews 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him? Think of that God has us on His mind!! Sounds like love to me!! Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. So can we rest in our Father of lights, who is mindful of us, gives good and perfect gifts and works all things for our good?! Stop being wearied and rest in Him. The end of self is a good place to be. When we let go, God takes over, because He is so high and lifted up, He does more than we could ask or think! Thank You Lord for being the God who over does a thing!! Blessings beyond measure, more wisdom, knowledge and understanding; not only healing, but made whole! This is our abundant life, no matter how it appears in the natural, we walk by faith and not by sight. The end of self is a good place to be! Now you can really trust Him, turn it all over to Him! It is the Lord that makes a way for us and keeps us! If He has counted every hair on our heads, He is keeping His eye on what the end already is. We just have to trust Him to get there. This is not about our strength!! Which has many of us with sore muscles and aches have come to realize, can rest in Him who controls it all. Trust in the the Truth! Let go and let God, move mighty in your life!! The end of self it the beginning of God showing up mighty! That is why the weak can say, 'I am strong,' because their strength has shown up!! Fiveamprayer, we are strong!! God has shown up, because we are at the end of self! Hallelujah God! Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. We are to pray without ceasing. To pray and not faint! The end of self is a good place to be. Lord show us your glory. Send the latter rain. Remind God of His word. We need your grace and mercy in this situation. We are getting up early, seeking Your face. But are we still holding on to things?! Totally let it go. Trust God, what else can you do? We are in a place of trust, no doubt or fear. Our help comes from the Lord! We are on our knees, in submission to You. We are at Your feet, trusting You. The end of self, is a good place to be. We come to lift up fiveamprayer this morning to wash our hearts in Your word, to be more like You. We lift up prayer requests known and unknown, we lift up Nate`'s and Stephanie's fathers for healing, by His stripes they were healed. Thank You Lord! We ask for forgiveness for all that we have done. Thank You for forgiving us and casting our sins into the sea that they are not remembered no more. Teach us how to forgive like You, Lord so that we are not hindered.
