It Shall Be Well!

2 Kings 4:4-37; Hebrews 11:6; 1 Kings 8:56-57; John 11:25-26; Revelation 1:18; John 19:30

We are walking in today:  It Shall Be Well!

2 Kings 4:17-23 17) And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life. 18) And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. 19) And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. 20) And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. 21) And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. 22) And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. 23) And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well.  We all face problems in this world.  Seasons of sorrow, sickness and financial troubles.  They are simply stepping stones to a stronger and more mature faith.  When troubles come, we can wisely choose to pray and praise God--trusting that He will deliver us at just the right time.  Or grumble and complain which starts nothing--makes us and everyone around us miserable.  Elisha was a man mentored by a great man, the prophet Elijah.  During his training period, he learned many valuable lessons from his spiritual father and friend.  So God could use him to do many great miracles.  After Elijah's death the prophet Elisha did a lot of traveling for the Lord.  One day when he was on his way to Shunem--a kind woman invites him to dinner at her home.  After the meal she said to her husband, I believe this is a holy man of God.  He passes by our house often, let us make a special guest room for him--in the room place a bed, table, stool and candlestick.  Elisha was very grateful for the hospitality of the woman.  He said to his servant, Gehazi call the Shunammite woman, when she stood before him, he asked what favor they could do for her.  The woman was content and asked for nothing.  Elisha asked his servant, Gehazi if he had any suggestions for a gift for the woman.  Gehazi answered, the woman has no child and her husband is old.  In those days a woman who had no children was considered to be cursed by God.  Elisha told the woman by this time next year, you will embrace a son.  The woman said, please don't lie to your handmaid.  She conceived and bore a son, just as Elisha had promised.  When the child was older, one day he was out in the field with his father and the reapers.  Suddenly his head began to hurt.  So his father, had him carried to his mother.  The woman held him in her lap until noon and the boy died.  She took the child and laid him in the bed of the man of God and shut the door.  The woman asked her husband to call one of the young men to saddle the donkey, so she could go to and find Elisha.  Since she had not told her husband that the child had died, he asked why do you want to go to him today?  It is neither the new moon or the sabbath.  The woman quietly answered it shall be well.(2 Kings 4:23)  She instructed the driver to go as fast as he could and not to stop unless she told him to.  The woman came to mount Carmel and Elisha spotted her in the distance.  He said to Gehazi, this is the Shunammite woman.  Run and meet her, ask if everything is all right.  Gehazi inquired about the well fare of her family.  She replied it is well.  Did you hear her reply?  She went and held on to Elisha's feet, Gehazi went to push her away, but Elisha said to leave her alone.  She is bitter in spirit and the Lord has hid it from me.  The woman asked, my lord did I ask you for a son?  Didn't I beg you not to deceive me?  Elisha said to Gehazi to go and lay his staff on the face of her child.  The mother said, as the Lord lives and as my soul lives, I will not leave you.  Gehazi ran ahead and laid the staff of Elisha on the boy's face but he didn't move.  Gehazi ran back and told Elisha, the boy didn't move.  When Elisha entered into the house--he realized the the child was dead.  He went up into the room and shut the door--praying fervently to the Lord.  Elisha laid on the boy, mouth to mouth, eye to eye until the boy became warm.  The child sneezed seven times and opened his eyes.  Seven is the number of completion.  It is well.  There are times in our own lives, when sickness or death comes to our door.  The Bible is full of accounts that give us hope, strength and faith to believe the impossible.  This woman had great faith!  For, even after her child died she spoke words of faith to her husband--it shall be well.  She didn't waste time feeling sorry for herself.  Or talking to a dozen of her friends about her problem.  She knew that God alone held the power to heal her son.  Her words of faith and quick response to her problem, brought Elisha to the rescue.  Gehazi was Elisha's servant but did n0t have the faith for God's healing power to work through him.  Elisha prayed first then followed God's instructions to lay upon the child.  When his first attempt failed, he did not quit or give up hope.  God worked and showed His miracle working power--to her family and friends.  Too often we miss out on our miracle by speaking negative words out our our mouths.  Like they say, there is no hope.  There is nothing we can do.  He is terminal.  Things will never change.  He'll never get better.  The Bible says, in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  The same God that raised the woman's child from the dead--loves and promises to never leave nor forsake us!  1 Kings 8:56-57 56) Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant. 57) The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.  Blessed be the name of the Lord!  He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus on the cross as a sacrifice for your sins and those of the whole world.  God raised Him up also from the dead--and He conquered all of the powers of satan and evil.  Beloved do you have a dead circumstance in your life?  Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, waiting with open arms.  He alone holds the power to breathe life and hope into your future.  He can heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.  All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.  Jesus said, in John 11:25-26 25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?  Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.  It is well!
I know in the beginning, I said it shall be well, as our faith is strengthened by meditating on His word we come to know that it is well!  Fiveamprayer, it is well--in every storm, trial, tribulation and test.  Don't give up hope.  God is the only one who can breathe life into your situation!!  If someone asks you, how you are doing, your response should be it is well.  We serve the Living God who is our Savior!!  The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy!  We look to God, He is our help!  It is He that can do all things, that is why it is well!  He told us this week we are to look to His strength!  That is how we can stand on, it is well by my soul!  We rest contented because we are resting in He who is able to hold us up, cover us, keep us, protect us, provide for us--how could it be anything else but well?!  Why are we not looking, trusting, believing in His Almighty, awesome power!?  No more--it is well, my Father has already said it is so!   Deuteronomy 8:1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.  That is why we can stand on it is well, God keeps showing up letting us know that He has it all under His control.  Follow His way, do not turn from it.  God even gives us a way back to Him, if we get lost, repent and turn back to Him!!  God tells the children of Israel many times to follow Him and He will protect and provide for them.  Being kept and provided for sounds like it is well to me!!  That total trust in One who is well able to deliver on every promise!  The One who is not slack regarding His word.  The One who watches over His word to perform it!!  Thank You God!!  You are the only one who can do these things!  So our trust is misplaced, looking anywhere else!  It is well!!  Because we are standing and believing in Him and His word!  It is well with my soul!  With all hell breaking loose, it shall be well!  You gotta have faith!  Trust that He will do it!!  He will fix it!  He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him!  It is well, it is well!  You have got to get this one!  Keep telling yourself that it is well, really get this one down in your spirit!  Walking in, it is well--is a stepping on total faith in God.  That He won't let you fall, that He keeps you high above when the floods break forth.(Psalms 32:6)  We serve a God who has enough healing in the hem of His garment to restore and renew our health!!  By His stripes we were healed.  It is already done and finished!!  John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.  Healing is a part of Jesus' perfect work that was completed on the cross.  It is well.  We lift up those for healing with it is well in our hearts, looking to He who is well able to supply all that is needed!  Thank You Lord!!  Hallelujah!  There is none like You!  Thank You Lord, for coming by this morning with a rhema word.  For everything that you are facing, your response is, it is well.  Pull it down for the supernatural down into the natural!  It is well!  Thank You Lord!  Thank. You. God!  Thank You God for who You are!!  The maker of a way out of no way!  When our back is against the wall, He is the wall!!  What if we walked in the knowledge that we have a way our automatically?  No more freak out, worry or panic?  That we just hold our peace and walk in it is well!  That our words, actions, heart and mind are focused on one thing--trust in the Lord and allow Him to be God.  That He could bless us indeed, any way that He chooses.  Knowing that He is our heavenly Father and that it is His good pleasure to give unto us, His children!  How much time is freed up, walking in it is well?  No more cluttered minds--trying to figure it out.  Or running around to ask 50 people what they think and then try to cobble together a plan with nothing substantial to hold it together.  No more getting frustrated and speaking all kinds of negative things against what God has already promised you.  No more being stressed out and accepting anything that comes because you may feel that you deserve--that is nonsense!!  Stand on His word.  Trust in Him.  Keep looking to God.  That is how we get to, it is well!!  When we can really get our faith functioning in spite of how circumstances look, we are no longer swayed by the rumor mills or the bad news--it is always well because we are in the Lord and He has already taken care of everything.  We just have to walk it out in obedience.  Not going off and following our own bright ideas based on nothing substantial!!  Bless those who have prayer requests, those known and unknown.  You know what they stand in the need of.  They come asking You, because they believe that You are and able to deliver, keep, restore, provide!  We come asking that You breathe life on each situation that has been lifted up today.  We cover these requests with Your blood.  Forgive us Lord for our sins.  We don't always come to you first or we try to be You and fix it ourselves.  Thank You Lord for forgiving us, for casting our sins as far as the east is from the west, that they are remembered no more.  Teach us Lord how to forgive others that we may be forgiven and our prayers are not hindered.  Because of how You cover each and every one of us, we can say it is well with our souls!  Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all!  He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him!  You have gotta read 2 Kings chapter 4 for yourself!  We must learn to walk in the faith that this woman had.  She did not believe that her son had died, she got into motion to seek out God!!  She went to who was able to handle her situation, not only that God gave her that son, and God is responsible for all that He gives us.  That is a part of His guarantee!  So that is why she could stand on it is well, it shall be well.  She knew who is in control!!  Hallelujah!  We have a new response!!  The devil is a liar, he will not steal away our joy.  It is well!  Keep telling yourself that until you get that down in your spirit.  No more of believers rolling over and crumbling.  It is well!  Nevertheless, Thy will be done!  You have got to believe it!!  He is the one who lives! Fiveamprayer, how are you doing, this morning---it is well.  There is power on this line because we are in agreement.  We stand on Your word, this morning!!  We won't move, we are steadfast, unmovable!  The joy of the Lord is our strength!  It is well!!  Speak it out of your mouth!!  It is well.  The devil is an defeated foe.  It is well and we believe it!  It is well.  Hallelujah!  It is well!  Thank You God!  You have got to give Him some praise for this one!!  How are you doing?  It is well!  Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil!  In every test, trial, or tribulation--it is well.  He told us to count it all joy!  Don't fall a part, it is well.  The devil is still a liar!  I said it is well and I mean that!  I am walking in this one!!  It. Is. Well.  Thank You Jesus!  We must have this woman's response, it shall be well, it is well.  Many of us are facing things that appear to be dead:  marriages, children, and finances.  Our response is--it is well.  Thank You God!!  Thank You for fiveamprayer!!  Who the Son sets free is free indeed!  One of us is in trouble, it is well!  Tell everyone you meet, it is well with me!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: It shall be well, because it is well!

Welcome to the overflow...

Your word will not come back void!  He went to hell to take back the keys to the kingdom!  He got up on the third day with all power in His hands!!  Don't worry or fret.  We can do all things through Christ which strengthens us!  In every trial, struggle, or tribulation we can say, "it is well with my soul!"  We thank You this morning God!  Some of us have been given an expiration date by the doctor.  The devil is a liar!!  We serve Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides for us!  He makes a way for us and provides all that we need.  You know that you have been pressed, the enemy is coming against us, the Lord lifts up a standard.  It is well.  It is not about feelings!!  The joy of the Lord is our strength!  The devil will try to worry you, to get you to speak death--keep your mind stayed on the Lord, He keeps you in perfect peace!  Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning!!  It is well with my soul!  Look at the woman in 2 Kings, she went to seek after the man of God after her son died, not stopping to do anything else!  She was in motion to get a word from God, seeking after the only one who could restore what was lost.  Knowing who is able to do it and not being distracted by anything.  When we are going through are we seeking God with that kind of determination, that kind of focus?  Shutting down and tuning out everything else but Him?!  Turning all that you are to a concentrated focus on the Almighty!  That is why He told us that His strength is made perfect in our weakness.  When we come to realize that we can't do it, don't waste time going all over.  Go to God!  Stay before Him, tarry in His presence, in His word.  I'm talking about a focus of intense attention on Him.  You know what it is like when someone is staring at you.  When it is so intense that you have to turn around and look to see who it is that has all of that focus on you, who is staring at you.  Let God know that you are serious and are looking to Him only, so much so that your line of sight only contains Him!!  That there is nothing else in your view.  That God is so enlarged, singular before you, you can't see nothing but Him and more of Him.  It is is like when things are our of focus that you are not able to make out what is in the picture.  But when you change the perspective, the focus you can realize what the picture is.  Be like that with God just so up close to Him that if you look up, down, left, right or even turn around that all you can see is God!  Have a single vision and the focus is on God!  When you have that kind of focus your only response is it is well.  That is the only state of response, that focused attention, on the Almighty, what else can you say?!  You are covered, surrounded, enrobed, engulfed, immersed by the Lord.  What can come against you in the shelter of His wings?!  It is well.  In your ministry, your marriage, your children, your health, your family, your job, your finances--every area, it is well!  We must say it with authority and power.  Jesus gave us back our authority, why are you not using it?!  God said in 2012 we will see.  He is giving us revelation and manifestation of His glory!  Others around you will ask, how can you say it is well, with all that is going on in your life?  Let them know you have a Keeper and that there is room for more!  That should be our response for the rest of the year, it is well!  Look to the Father, He provides all of our needs!
