We are walking in today: Moving Forward in 2012.
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 12-13 12) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14]I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. If there is one thing missing in contemporary religion, it is sustain Godly cause. Updates are the mode of operation among many professed believers. Updated message, updated techniques and even updated gospel. However, this isn't the manner of the kingdom of God. It is progressive in nature, which is directly opposite of the addiction to the obsolete, believers under the administration of the Holy Spirit--go from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). The psalmist declares that those in Zion would go from strength to strength (Psalms 84:7). The gospel generates a manner of life described as from faith unto faith (Romans 1:17). These expressions describe a process, that the world is not familiar with. It is one of the advances in spiritual development. Our text sets forth a situation that is both challenging and necessary. It reveals a similarity of a objective and sustained effort required to obtain it. Faith does not change it's goal. It often requires the adjustments of ones commitment and effort, but never an alteration of the goal. That is the nature of life in Christ. One thing dominates through out the life of the Child of God (Psalm 29:4, Luke 10:42, Philippians 3:13). You will need to look those scriptures up for yourself. It is that controlling factor that is our present thing. Those that are haphazard in their commitment to Christ, find it difficult to comprehend the zeal of believers, but there is an compelling reason for insistent effort. You can not maintain nor sustain zeal by a system of law. Threats, however true they may be, are not sufficient incentive to keep people running the race and fighting the fight. Paul prior to being in Christ, was devoted to the law--the holy law. He exercised himself to be blameless, concerning the righteousness of which it has spoken, but that zeal was nothing compared with what he experienced in Christ Jesus! In him, effort reached a new plateau. The persuasion of the mark, instilled a zeal that law could not produce. Paul labored more abundantly than the rest of the apostles (1 Cor 15:10). It was not because he was stronger or because he had access to more technical aids, it was because he saw more. His heart and mind was ravaged with the grace of God. His eyes had a single goal--he was willing to spend and to be spent for the cause (2 Corinthians 12:15). The world, even the religious world could not match the glory of the things that he saw, by Christ. He had an insatiable appetite for the grace of God--that is what brought it to him. He received much, because he wanted much. That is the reason for his explanation of keep pushing forward. 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
I don't know about you, but it is time to move forward to press on, forgetting the things that are behind. M0ve forward in 2012. He will show us His glory. Don't be stagnant. The race is not given to the swift but to he that endures until the end. Go to the next level, take that next step. Walk that thing out and trust God, holding on to His unchanging hand. You will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Press on to the higher calling of the Lord! Fiveamprayer, press your way through in your marriages--stand on God's word. He is showing up with His grace and mercy. Now is the time to press like never before. We must have a new mindset and leave the old one behind in 2011. Keep walking, believing and trusting in Him. We will see His glory in this year! Stay with God! He will not leave nor forsake you. Hold on to His unchanging hand and His promises. Press your way forward in 2012. With a new mindset, holding on to the joy of the Lord, it is our strength. Keep on walking, fiveamprayer, where ever God leads you. He has already created a way of escape for you. You will see every prayer request answered. We are moving forward in 2012. There has been a release in the supernatural, we are in the overflow, we stand in expectancy. God is doing a new thing and we are giving birth to that thing that God has placed inside of us, now is the time and season. We shall reap the harvest if we faint not--move forward! He has worked it all out! Keep on pressing, even if the enemy attacks in your health, marriages, children, finances--keep pressing on to the higher calling of God. Get ready, fiveamprayer, we are about to see! He gave us power and authority on yesterday. His word tells us the the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. He is ordering our steps! He told us that there is an end and our expectation shall not be cut off! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We know that without faith it is impossible to please God. Thank God for His grace, because it is sufficient! Paul asked for the thorn in his side to be removed and God told him, that His grace was sufficient. Paul kept moving on, pressing in, going after that thing which God had laid before him. We lift up fiveamprayer, this morning, have them to move forward in this new thing in this new year. We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. Have them to stand knowing that You are a healer, the way out of no way and our all in all. Whatever they need, You got it! We must move forward to our breakthrough and healing, it is here! 2011 is over, look to the Author and Finisher of our faith! We ask Your forgiveness, for looking behind and not pressing in to the new thing. We must leave those things that are past, in the past and press forward. Thank You for forgiving us with no condemnation. That You would cast our sins away, as far as the east is from the west--that they are remembered no more. Help us to forgive like You Lord, that we would be forgiven also.
We seal this prayer in His precious blood: We are moving forward in the prayer of Jabez--that we have received our enlarged coast, that we are blessed indeed, that You hand is truly with us that evil will not grieve us!

Hallelujah! Glory to His name! Don't get stuck in 2011, move forward in to 2012. We have to press forward to the higher calling in Christ Jesus! We have to move forward to get what God has for us. Thank You Lord, for giving us power and authority and then today instructions to move forward and take the enemy out. God is faithful and all knowing. Now we are to trust Him in all of our ways and He will direct our path. Fiveamprayer, don't lean to your own understanding, that is where we mess it all up. Trust in the Almighty, He has already gone ahead of us in this thing. Thank You Lord! Stay in the race, press on, move forward. Take a step with Jesus, this morning, moving forward to the things ahead, leaving off the things behind. God is sending the latter rain, the 1,000 fold return. We can't sit here--faith without works is dead! We are like the woman with the issue of blood, we must press in and through to the Lord for our own issues: marriages, children or finances. Overflow and breakthrough is right in front of you, move forward!! You have been through hell and high water in 2011, but there is an end. Keep pressing through and moving forward. Don't get stuck in your mind. It is no longer 2011, the devil is still a liar! Get up and move forward, press toward the mark of the high calling of God. Paul had a thorn in his side and God's response was His grace is sufficient. There is favor all over your life. Move forward. Renew you mind with the word of God, don't get stuck in what happened last year. No matter what you are facing, trust God and move forward, take the next step and the next and the next. Thank You God!! You said a righteous man's steps are ordered by the Lord. So you are not walking around aimlessly--there is a plan and a purpose. Your expectancy shall not be cut off! What have you been requesting from the Lord? Have you been standing in faith and believing that you have already received it? Hold on and press in, your breakthrough is just down the road. His grace is sufficient. He is doing a new thing and we are new creatures in Christ Jesus! Strip off that old man and old ways! Walk in this word, let it come alive in your life!
