There is a Mark or Goal In 2012.

We are walking in today: There is a Mark or Goal In 2012.

"I press toward the mark," Paul confessed.  The mark!  So far as he was concerned, there was no other worthy objective; no other goal so compelling and rewarding.  The mark!  Something identifiable, not vague.   It was something he could perceive and understand.  When his heart was fastened upon it, he adjusted the course of his life appropriately.  It allowed him to get his spiritual bearings.  Elsewhere he used glorious phrases to denote its reality.  He referred to a "blessed hope and glorious appearing" Titus 2:13.  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.  He mentioned in, Hebrews 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil: and a city which hath foundations, whose Builder and Maker is God, Hebrews 11:10.  He spoke of receiving a "crown of righteousness" 2 Timothy 4:8, and ever "being with the Lord", 1 Thessalonians 4:17.  One of the undeniable marks of a degenerate and failing church is its lack of confidence concerning the future.  This is the dark spot on the horizon of the fearful and unbelieving.  But what was the mark or "goal" toward which Paul pressed?  Note that it is immediately related to "the prize of the high calling of God Christ Jesus, Philippians 3:14.  This is the objective of the heavenly calling.  It is the reason for the remission of sins.  It is the motivation for Christ saving His people from their sins.  This is why people believe.  It is why they obey God.  It is why they perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord, 2 Corinthians 7:1.  It is why they "run with patience the race that is set before them", Hebrews 12:1.  The mark, from one point of view, is "eternal life".  That is the sum and substance of the blessing.  It is the gift of God,  Romans 6:23.  That is a summary view of our involvement in the world to come, Mark 10:30.  Your Continuance in well doing will be rewarded with eternal life, Romans 2:7.  We are justified by His grace in order that we might be made heir according to the hope of eternal life, Titus 1:2.  The exceeding great and precious promises that have been given to us, even eternal life, 1 John 2:25.  The eternal life that we have now in the world to come.  This is a mark worthy of consistent and unflagging effort!  From another point of view, you might view the mark as life's finish line.  It is the point at which the race ends.  Paul caught a glimpse of it before he left his body.  It prompted him to say, I fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing,  2 Timothy 4: 7-8.  His warfare was good!  His faith enabled him to complete the strenuous course appointed to him.  It led him through weakness,  2 Corinthians 12:7-10.  It led him through the rejection of many to whom he preached.  He had to press on with infirmity.  Sometimes he had to press forward alone, with his brethren forsaking him, 2 Timothy 4:10.  But the mark kept him coming!!  It was a dominating goal with which the world simply could not complete!!!  Amen.
 I come to tell you, that Paul pressed towards the mark.  There is a mark or a goal.  We shall finish this race!  The people who started with you may not finish with you.  You have to keep pressing towards the mark!  He has given us power and authority!  Hold on and trust in Him!  Fiveamprayer, we know where our help comes from, it comes from the Lord!  There is a mark or goal for 2012.  We must move out of that situation.  God is taking us higher!  Everyone can't go with you.  Keep holding on--obedience is better than sacrifice.  Be patient and trust God--we have eternal life, this earth is not out home, we are just passing through!  He came that we would have life more abundantly!  He promised to never leave nor forsake us!  Last year was the year of abundance, this year is the overflow--we will see!  Keep walking in His favor and grace!  We have the mark of Jesus!  Have no doubt or fear, we must take it by force!!  Pulling down all those things that would dare to exalt itself against the knowledge of God!  We are tearing down strongholds and deceit, with His mighty arm and light of truth!  God already knew that you would be here, He has already walked around in your future and preparations have already been made!  Fiveamprayer, you are coming out transformed, looking more and more like your Father.  God is the only one you can count on and trust.  Stop being disappointed by trusting in man!  Be still and listen, God is speaking in 2012.  He loads us with benefits--daily bread and so many others.  We should be excited that there is a mark or a goal!  Continue to fight the good fight of faith and run this race.  God is teaching us in this season--there is a shift going on!!  The Greater One will show Himself mighty and strong.  God is a God, all by Himself--He doesn't need your help.  Keep moving forward, we will reach the mark--eternal life with God.  Paul had those, who he preached to and who were supposed to be walking with him, to turn away.  But he continued on unto the mark.  He would not be dissuaded on this point, no matter what!  Look to God and not man.  No man can put you into heaven or hell.  All of our actions should be to please the Father and Him only.  Hold on to God and His word!  Fiveamprayer, press towards the mark!  Our goal is eternal life with Jesus Christ!  The things of this world are temporary, why seek after that which will not last and holds no eternal value?!  We lift up fiveamprayer, this morning, Lord have them to know in their hearts that we must press towards the mark or the goal, that there is a finish line.  2012 is the year.  We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown, have them to know that we must finish this race, no matter who has dropped off, you are never alone!  Thank You Lord for forgiving us with no condemnation, that our sins are remembered no more.  Only You can forgive and heal us of the guilt from that sin.  Lord teach us how to forgive that we are forgiven and our prayers are not hindered.  We are pressing towards the mark!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood:  We got a new mindset for the prayer of Jabez, that Thou has blessed us indeed, that we have an enlarged coast and are kept from evil that we are not grieved!

Welcome to the overflow...
God is opening up a window and pouring out a blessing.  It is overflow time!  And God has granted us that which we have requested!  Keep moving forward into the overflow.  The latter rain is right now!  The 1,000 fold return is right now!  His grace, mercy, unspeakable joy, peace that surpasses all understanding--welcome to the overflow!  Revelation, manifestation, you will see--overflow time!  Bless Your name God!  It's overflow time!  We have been faithful over a few and now we will be made rulers over many.  We have to pull it down into the natural.  We are blessed like never before!  Get ready for the overflow.  He is pouring out from heaven, His many blessings on us!  Don't let the devil stop you.  The enemy is coming against your mind.  That is why we must renew our minds daily, with God's word.  Stop trying to figure it our by yourself, in all of that figuring you are missing God--that is the only way out.  We are in the overflow!  Overflow of blessings, the anointing and a new level in God!  Keep pressing to the mark!  Hallelujah God!  Look up and read these scriptures for yourself.  You have to know God for yourself--this is about your personal relationship with Him.  He bankrupted heaven for you, certainly you can spend sometime with Him in His word and in prayer.  Hold on to this word, fiveamprayer, that you sin not against Him.  The mark is eternal life!  Keep moving as God directs.  God's grace is sufficient--always!  It is overflow time!  Keep moving in 2012, finish the race.  Keep the faith and walk in this thing out.  Have a blessed day!
