We are walking in today: Let Us Walk By The Spirit!
Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Paul is in full agreement with Jesus that it is by the work of the Holy
Spirit that we have been given new life. "Even when we were dead through
trespasses God made us alive together with Christ . . . We are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus" Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;). Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.
Just as God once said, "Let there be light," and there was light, so he
"has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the
glory of God in the face of Christ" 2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined
in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in
the face of Jesus Christ. Now Paul, in Galatians 5:25,
draws an inference from how our new life in Christ began: if it began
by the Spirit, then all our subsequent life ought to be carried out by
the Spirit (read Galatians 3:1–5).
If it was by the free and sovereign power of the Spirit that our new
spiritual life came into being, then the way that new life should be
lived is by that same free and sovereign power. "Walk by the Spirit"
means do what you do each day by the Spirit; live your life in all its
details from waking up in the morning until going to sleep at night by
the enabling power of the Spirit. But what does that mean, practically
speaking? Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
So here we see what the opposite of walking
by the Spirit is, namely, giving in to the desires of the flesh.
Remember, "flesh" is the old, ordinary human nature that does not
relish the things of God and prefers to get satisfaction from
independence, power, prestige, and worldly pleasures. When we "walk by
the Spirit," we are not controlled by those drives. This is what verse
17 means: the flesh produces one kind of desires, and the Spirit
produces another kind, and they are opposed to each other. Walking by the Spirit is what we do when the desires produced by the Spirit are stronger than the desires produced by the flesh.
Ultimately, all the good inclinations or preferences or desires that
we have are given by the Holy Spirit. Apart from the Spirit we are mere

We are gonna take a selah
moment. We are gonna walk by the Spirit of God. We are gonna crucify
our flesh. We are gonna die to our flesh. We are gonna have our flesh
to line up with the the Spirit of God. Cause we walk by the Spirit to
produce what God would have on the inside, in the name of Jesus! We come right now, Father God submitting and surrendering ourselves to You, God--our response is not our will but, Thy will be done. Walk by the spirit, not the flesh. The Holy Spirit is leading us and directing us. Let he that has ears to hear, let them hear what the Spirit is speaking! He will lead us to all truth! That is how we have ordered steps, by harking to the Holy Spirit! When things are not going well check to see who is guiding you? Who or what are you listening to? We can no longer respond in the flesh or do the things that the flesh dictates. He shaped us in His image and gave His only Begotten and left us with the Holy Spirit. We were not meant to do this all alone, that is why there is a 100% failure rate for operating in the flesh. Let's be honest, it only appears that what we have done is successful but does not bear any lasting results. That is not how God intended this to be!! Genesis 1:27-29 27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29) And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Look at that, we are created in His image, blessed to be fruitful and multiply, given dominion over the earth and provided for--if you are not seeing any of this in your life, you are not following God! So go ahead and line up with His word and walk by the spirit and not the flesh!! He gave us the Holy Spirit to hold on--when the flesh would have a worldly response. "Be still and know that I AM God." The only way that we have, is His way, the righteous way. We must die to the flesh daily. Operate no more in the flesh. The Spirit knows all things. Are you walking by the Holy Spirit? In your marriage, your flesh wants to leave and the Holy Spirit says to stay. Obedience is better than sacrifice. For those who are single, why are you out there looking for a man?! Proverbs 18:22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. Follow the Holy Spirit, He leads us to all truth. We must pray without ceasing. Somethings come only by prayer and fasting. Are you walking it out by faith?! Or are you trying to work it our yourself?! We are to lean not to our own understanding, in all our ways we are to acknowledge Him and He will direct our path! Who are you leaning on, trusting in?! We have everlasting arms to lean on!! Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them. Walk in the Spirit of the Lord. He leads and guides us to truth, down the path of righteousness. Jesus, left us with the Comforter. We know that when the enemy comes in like a flood, that the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Are you walking in that lifted standard?! Walk in the Spirit of God, doing what He says. Our response must be, nevertheless, Thy will be done! Trust His word, everything will be more than all right! Get out of self and get into His Spirit! He has called us into righteousness. We die daily, thank You Lord. John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. Then the devil comes in with, you won't win and you are going down but we know that greater is He that is within us than he that in in this world! That God is the way, the truth and the life! Thank You Lord for the fruits of the spirit, love, joy, peace, long-suffering--read more about these in Galatians chapter 5. We walk by faith and not by sight. What did God say--not your friends, not your mama. God is for you, who can stand against you?! Fiveamprayer, is walking by the Spirit!! Move in the exposure of the Son, to have a Peter-like shadow. Our God is faithful, compassionate, He knows the number of hairs on our head, surely He has this all in control!! Stop looking to your friends to figure this our. God is the only one to call. No need for the listing of people on speed dial. He is #1 and your only option!! It is He who's strength is made perfect in weakness! He has promised to never leave nor forsake us! He left us with the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Let he who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying! We have two ears and one mouth--so we should be listening twice as much as we speak. And if we are not speaking God's word in faith, believing--than we should be quiet!! Be still and know that He is God! Are you listening?! Or are you distracted by preparing your response? He is calling us, His chosen. Many are called but few are chosen. God is speaking to you, so that you can hear, get to a quite place. Stop trying to work it out yourself. He is God. Your job isn't god, we serve a jealous God, He will have no other God's before Him. It is like the favorite chair at your house, growing up. Everybody knew who's chair that was and you better not sit in it! There is a place reserved for God and nothing else. You better make the correction or He will! We must keep seeking, trusting, believing in Him--not things. Walk by the Spirit! Be quiet and hear from God. You may want to put your mouth on a fast. Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Are you hearing from God?! In every move, decision that is not from God, we suffer needlessly. All the while God is telling us: don't go, stop, wait, don't do or don't say--and in our flesh we do it any way. We must be guided by the Spirit, in every way all throughout every day! He should be your GPS. Fiveamprayer, get your directions from on high--Isaiah 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. God is high and lifted up, what better vantage point is there?! How could you directions from someone who is lacking that greater vision and ability?! Are you being driven by the Spirit?! Or are you being driven by carnal desires?! Operating in lies and other tools of the flesh. They that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth! Get out of your flesh and worldly desires!! Only operate in the Spirit of the Lord. He will guide you--He will tell you, not to go that way. The Spirit will keep you, to tell you to wait, don't go that way, don't move out of position. But some of us are saying, I have waited for 1 or 2 years, even if it looks like, things are not changing, follow where the Holy Spirit leads you! He is teaching us in the waiting. We are being prepared for what God has for us. God does not want to bless us and then we are not able to handle it. Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Fiveamprayer, learn while waiting, so that you don't make the same mistake twice. Some of us the Holy Spirit is telling us to move and we are still waiting. Don't let your flesh hold you back, move by the Spirit! This is not about your feelings, what did God say?! We are being lead by the Spirit of the Lord, now walk in it fiveamprayer!! This is not about your emotions, walk by the Spirit. The joy of the Lord is our strength! Get out of yourself!! Hallelujah! Walk by the Spirit! Get your mindset right! Tell God, "I have made up my mind, I will follow where the Spirit, leads me!" You gotta walk in it!! Make up your mind that you will no longer be tossed about on a raging sea of fickle emotions and feelings. Do it God's way, by His Spirit! How God says and when He says! But you say, I am tired and have had enough! What if God had that response for you?! Many of us have been in this same situation before--should God say enough? This is not about how you feel, fiveamprayer! We are to crucify our flesh!! Some of us need to go back into the fire! We walk by the Spirit, He will lead us to all truth! Hear what the Spirit of the Lord says! We lift up prayer requests, those known and unknown. Have then to know that we must live our lives in a spiritual manner not by the flesh. We are walking this earth in the likeness of the heavenly Father. Let us be confident that we are not just dust without purpose! God is working it all out and will continue, but we must continue with Him! Lord we come asking for Your forgiveness, for how we have treated others, we were not always consistent with a kind or soft response. Lord touch us to speak to all in love in all situations! God we come to You saying we have a made up mind to put off the carnal things and take on the things of God. Keep us humble and low that we are not caught up in the flesh and distracted, missing You. Teach us how to forgive others that we are forgiven as well, that our prayers are not hindered. Thank You for forgiving us and casting our sins as far as the east is from the west.
We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit: It is not by power, nor by might but by His Spirit!
