Hebrews 6:11-12
However, we want each one of you to keep showing the same diligence right up to the end, when your hope will be realized; so that you will not become sluggish, but will be imitators of those who by their trust and patience are receiving what has been promised. -CJB
Process- a series of actions, changes, and functions bringing about results.
Patience and persistence are the protégé greatest friend. These qualities are needed for a protege to be committed in the process of being mentored.
A protégé must be:
Patient
Without patience there can be no in-depth relationship between the protege and mentor. The goal is for the protégé to become a mentor, yet the process takes time and training to become promoted. Promotion cannot come without this process of time and training. Faith in that which has not manifested should produce patience in the changing process.
1. Patience is faith over time.
Hebrews 6:12
so that you will not become sluggish, but will be imitators of those who by their trust and patience are receiving what has been promised. - CJB
2. Patience is submitting to the sequence of successes.
Hebrews 10:36
For you need to hold out; so that, by having done what God wills, you may receive what he has promised. - CJB
3. Patience is working with time to bring forth progress and results.
Luke 8:15
But what fell in rich soil — these are the ones who, when they hear the message, hold onto it with a good, receptive heart; and by persevering, they bring forth a harvest. - CJB
4. Patience is seeking for glory, honor and promotion in the right way.
Roman 2:7
To those who seek glory, honor and immortality by perseverance in doing good, he will pay back eternal life. CJB
5. Patience is having faith in the process and trusting in the outcome.
Roman's 8:25
But if we continue hoping for something we don’t see, then we still wait eagerly for it, with perseverance. - CJB
6. Patience is serving a another's dream. While waiting on your own dream.
Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength, they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings; when they are running they won’t grow weary, when they are walking they won’t get tired. - CJB
7. Patience is adapting to the time and needs of others.
Psalms 40:1
For the leader. A psalm of David: I waited patiently for Adonai, till he turned toward me and heard my cry. - CJB

Facts About The Process of The Protege
1. Pursuit is the responsibility of the protege, seeking Godly mentorship with the pursuit of spiritual growth. Must be sought with the intent to see Yahweh's nature in the mentor. No superstar or well-known enthusiastic celebrity type. In fact the mentor may look like the unlikeliest person. One who would not be assumed to be filled with the Ruach HaKodesh. David, Ruth, Solomon, and Esther all had unassuming mentors or were mentors themselves. These types of mentors look so human. It's hard to see that divine--the divine is hidden beneath the skin of the human.
2. When you build something real high you must dig deep
When Yeshua promised his talmidim that he would make them fishers of men. Their own ministry didn't start until the Messiah ascended. A few years of walking with Yeshua, became the process of protege to mentorship. This is not an overnight success story. Change happens in the presence of a mentor.
Peterm my favorite talmidim, wasn't patient, prideful, a know-it-all, and ready to go upside somebody's head for foolishness in a hot second. Yet through the process of walking with Yeshua, Peter eventually became what Yahweh intended him to become--not overnight but walking daily with Yeshua.
Yahweh is saying "you pursue, I'll perform. You reach, I'll bring to you realization. You enter, I'll engage. You follow, I'll finish. You come, I'll create"
Confession
1. I am impacted by what I admire.
2. I reflect what I submit to.
3. I become what I seek after.
4. I am not called to make myself.
5. I am called to submit to my maker.
6. I don't create my calling. But discover my calling. My calling can be seen in the life of another.
**Mentoring is the transfer of wisdom and anointing through a relationship**
When Yahweh wants to bring something positive in your life, He sends a mentor.
Jeremiah 3:15-16
I will give you shepherds after my own heart, and they will feed you with knowledge and understanding. “And,” says Adonai, “in those days, when your numbers have increased in the land, people will no longer talk about the ark for the covenant of Adonai — they won’t think about it, they won’t miss it, and they won’t make another one. - CJB
The mentors miracles are limited to where his presence is not pursued.
1 Corinthians 4:14-17
I am not writing you this to make you feel ashamed, but, as my dear children, to confront you and get you to change. For even if you have ten thousand trainers in connection with the Messiah, you do not have many fathers; for in connection with the Messiah Yeshua it was I who became your father by means of the Good News. Therefore I urge you to imitate me. This is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and trustworthy child in the Lord. He will remind you of the way of life I follow in union with the Messiah Yeshua and teach everywhere in every congregation. - CJB
Paul's definition summed up in this passage. It is the distinction between instructors and mentors.
An instructor will give advice he hasn’t followed//A mentor will advise based on experience.
An instructor is the one being paid//A mentor is the one being pursued.
An instructor is one giving the information//A mentor is one giving impartation.
An instructor sees you as part of the crowd//A mentor sees you stand out from the crowd.
An instructor can teach you about your future//A mentor is the one pregnant with your future.
The process of the protege takes patience and steadfastness. Patients and walking out principles taught by the mentor--that may take years. Yes the truth of the protege's identity lies within a mentor. Steady and continuous pursuit of wisdom and godly impartation from your mentor. A firm and tangible perception of the road your mentor and the belief that God has ordained, the mentor to propel your spiritual life. To hear this again click here.
