Similarly, urge the young men to be self-controlled, and in everything set them an example yourself by doing what is good. When you are teaching, have integrity and be serious; -CJB

We have discussed the elements of sound doctrine, revealing 4 key things that constitute sound doctrine:

1. Integrity
2. Reverence
3. Incorruptibility
4. Sound speech that can not be condemned

By combining teachings and lining up every fact or input, solely based off the entire chapter and not just a few scriptures from the verses. This is how we thoroughly relay Yahweh's message.

Everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of the word of Yahweh, we must only trust in His teaching and learn from the rich and powerful lessons of His words. These are not words made up of fictions or fantasies of men that only sparks the emotions--if that. Which results in no change to teshuva, only an emotional high. Which can be a codependent relationship with teacher and student. As long as my flesh is being fed I can scream and shout, hoop and holler yet with no real understanding of scripture. There is immense danger of only having emotionalism and no real knowledge of the word.

Furthermore, our understanding must be based on humility and in balance--not my all-knowing, all-seeing self.  We can not know everything--all that I  thought I knew to be the truth several years ago has been revealed even more recently. Or better yet, built on the truth I thought was the truth, at that time. Humbled to know that Yahweh has way more for me to learn about Him. This is not what my religious box can place Him nor His wisdom in, but trusting in the truth that is revealed through study and a close walk with the author of life. I am not omniscient--all knowing.

Titus 2:6-7

This passage for things is duly noted that point out sound doctrine.

1. Integrity
2. Reverence
3. Incorruptibility
4. Sound speech that can not be condemned

Reverence
Strong's #G4587 semnotēs- bad characteristics of a person or thing which entitle to be reverence or respected, dignity, gravity, and majesty

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of Adonai is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. - CJB

Revelations 22:19
And if anyone takes anything away from the words in the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the Tree of Life and the holy city as described in this book. -CJB

The word of Yahweh should be awed and respected as holy. Not to pimp for one's own cause!!  Our doctrine should have ultimate reverence for the sanctity of Yahweh's perfect word.

Incorruptibility

Strong's # G861 aphtharsia - incorruptible, perpetuity. Words spoken should be eternal and not fashionable fly by night fads, but based off of His words stands forever. That what is forever, fiveamprayer--Yahweh's words are forever!

Titus 1:1-3
From: Sha’ul, God’s slave and an emissary of Yeshua the Messiah, sent to promote among God’s chosen people the trust and knowledge of the truth which lead to godliness and which are based on the certain hope of eternal life. God, who does not lie, promised that life before the beginning of time but made public this word of his in its own season through a proclamation with which I have been entrusted by order of God, our Deliverer. - CJB

Sound Speech that can not be condemned

Sound speech
Strong's # G5199 hygies- sounds to be whole or even healthy.

Strong's # G3056  logos- speech, collecting, a collection of thoughts put together. Based off words spoken. Reflecting words spoken from scriptures consisting of key elements that build up correct biblical application.

1. Having a healthy and wholesome speech based on nothing but Yahweh thoughts.

2. Based on Eternal truths, not rational faddish teachings.

3. Reverential awe and fear of Yahweh's words.

The whole counsel of Yahweh's word--not parts and pieces, but harmonious with scriptural integrity. As well as eternal integrity based off of logic and not self-contradicting doctrines. This is the basis of sound speech that can't be condemned nor refuted

2 Timothy 4:1-5
I solemnly charge you before God and the Messiah Yeshua, who will judge the living and the dead when he appears and establishes his Kingdom: proclaim the Word! Be on hand with it whether the time seems right or not. Convict, censure and exhort with unfailing patience and with teaching. For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths. But you, remain steady in every situation, endure suffering, do the work that a proclaimer of the Good News should, and do everything your service to God requires. - CJB
