Genesis 1:20-24
20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Meaning that which you put out will eventually come back to you--in the like manner, you sow. Whether your actions and choices be good or bad. This action comes back as the law of the harvest, is reaped. So we sow to the physical making choices in this realm that affect also the spiritual realm. Though we may not reap in our time by our own flesh, but our posterity will.
In the case of Adam's, lack of following the commands of Yahweh. The eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (pursuit of sensual knowledge, other knowledge than which Yahweh taught). Became the death of all mankind physically " lest they eat of the fruit of life." (Torah)
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Immediately the curse was reaped through the physical death of Abel and the spiritual death of Cain. This has been the case ever since. Until Yahweh Himself, stepped in to time walking in a redemptive dirt body, formed as man, Yeshua HaMashiach. For He is omnipotent and omnipresent--all powerful , all knowing!!!!
Matthew 20:28
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
So further down the timeline we see David--a man after Yahweh's own heart. Sowed his seed of lust, adultery, covetousness, murder, and lies. As he not only had an affair with Bathsheba, but had her husband murdered to cover up his want for Bathsheba. Come to think of it. Did David want Bathsheba because he impregnated her to cover this up? 2 Samuel 11
There were clear consequences reaped from David's actions. Their first child dying and later David's son Absalom slept with his concubines--in broad daylight, in front of the whole Kingdom. Another one of David's sons raped his own sister. These are the demonstrations of reaping the same kind as you sow.
2 Samuel 16:22
So they spread Absalom a tent upon the top of the house; and Absalom went in unto his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.
2 Samuel 13:2,10-14
2 And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do anything to her 10 And Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother. 11 And when she had brought them unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister. 12 And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly. 13 And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee. 14 Howbeit he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.
All this because of the sowing transference of one man, king on the Earth. Sin past to generation-to-generation. Claiming all born from the loins of Adam in the womb of Eve. To be born of this fallen nature. One person may ask are babies born sinless? We will compare that to the word.
Psalms 51:5
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me
Psalm 58:3
3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
In likewise, the law of regeneration. The promise of man's redemption was always implemented. But we see that He had the plan to redeem man to be born again. From the words, He spoke to Adam and Eve and the serpent in the Garden of Eden. The plans to have mankind placed rightfully where we were supposed to be as Kings and Priests of His creation, Earth. Giving back the Dominion and Authority that was given to Adam and Eve.
Yeshua's death was the ultimate sacrifice sown to redeem mankind. Therefore the image and likeness and multiplication,
Genesis 1:22
And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
was renewed as the generations who accepts Yeshua and all His instructions. Would reap all that comes from Yahweh, as it was restored to the original plan for man.
John 3:3-6
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:17
So as we learn we reap the same kind as we sow, whether spiritual or physical. We would want to sow positively--that the harvest may be positive. For us and our generations to come. Shema, Selah--hear to listen to obey Yahweh's word and let us pause to consider what we have heard!
