Men Of Torah Day--The Law Of Harvest!!!!

Ephesians 5

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah Day--The Law Of Harvest!!!!

Series: I Give You Power To Obtain Wealth

Witness men harvest throughout the Bible:  H120 'adam meaning man, mankind, human being, mankind (much more frequently intended sense in OT) Adam, first man & H7105 qatsiyr  harvesting, process of harvesting crop, what is harvested or reaped, time of harvest boughs, branches
Isaiah 9:4; Jeremiah 9:22; Ruth 2:21

Ephesians 5:15-18
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

Failure to make a choice is still, a choice made. Yahweh presents choices for us to choose His way or our way. Most of the time or we have heard what goes around comes back around. We stand on a similar principle, that is Kingdom based.  Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.  Job 4:8 "According to what I have seen, those who plow iniquity And those who sow trouble harvest it. You reap what you sow, Fiveamprayer. Generally, the saying is attached to the negative choices we tend to follow, but as a double-edged sword, the principle can be most positive as well. Causing antecedents to be an action, meaning carrying on the work of salvation that at its foundation has already been laid out.

The positive side of reaping what we sow, this is identifying the blessings of what Yahweh, He has already richly provided for us! As well as what others have already done before us.

John 4:35-38
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. 37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. 38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Deuteronomy 6:10-11
10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full.

Rejoicing in El Shaddai, for His mercy and graciousness. Whether we realize His blessings are not--His love impacts the good and the bad of all mankind. Just as the sun shines on all and the the rain falls on us all. When you are blessed with food. Will you not feed the hungry because in your eyes he is evil? Ayin hara, the stingy eye? As if your gifts and talents are the only things that has gotten you your blessings?!  Brag not because of the gifts and talents we possess--even those are gifts are from Yahweh!

Matthew 5:45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust

James 1:17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Now briefly in closing, there is the negative side as I talked about in the beginning of this lesson. The reaping of the rebellion against Yahweh's word.  This includes the reaping of those negative things those before us and around us have done, plays a major factor in our lives as well.

1. The choices you make to follow or disobey.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

2. The actions of our forefathers and ancestral rebellion against Yahweh’s teachings and instructions.

Exodus 20:5-6
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

3. The actions of leaders placed over us.

Isaiah 9:16
For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Wicked men in leadership causing devastation upon the people. As we have seen throughout the years and our country.

1) The rapid increase of divorce; the undermining of the dignity and sanctity of the home, which is the basis of human society.

(2) Higher and higher taxes and the spending of public monies for free bread and circuses for the populace.

(3) The mad craze for pleasure; sports becoming every year more exciting and more brutal.

(4) The building of gigantic armaments when the real enemy was within, the decadence of the people.

(5) The decay of religion—faith fading into mere form, losing touch with life and becoming impotent to warn and guide the people.

The call for men to stand up and choose to serve the one and living God, Yahweh. To be taught the balances of reaping and sowing in the Kingdom. This is the cry that is echoing in our ears, right now in these days and times!! In the midst of a cry for an answer, will there be ears to hear, to listen and obey the instruction??   The harvest is ripe but the laborers are few. Following the principles of the Torah enables us to reap the benefits of the abundant harvest already laid resplendent before us. Unlocked by the choice to use the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, to follow Yahweh and Him alone!!!! To hear this again click here.
