Men Of Torah Day--We Are The Firstborn!!

Deuteronomy 14

We are walking in today:  Men Of Torah Day--We Are The Firstborn!!

Men Standing On Yahweh Being First!!!

Witness wealth throughout the Bible:  H2428  chayil  strength, might, efficiency, wealth, army
Genesis 13:2, 26:13; Proverbs 3:9, 8:21; Matthew 13:22

Deuteronomy 14:27-29
27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. 28 At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: 29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.

How long will you serve two masters? Either serve Yahweh the only true Living God. Or serve Baal says the prophet. Yeshua says "render unto Caesar what is due unto Caesar and give Yahweh what belongs to you Yahweh".

Mark 12:13-17
13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. 14 And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? 15 Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.  16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. 17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

1 Kings 18:21

And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

The choices we make in the proverbial valley of decision: to walk wholeheartedly as the entire scriptures read or to play a double agent and hide our identity. As Yahweh provides the knowledge that is not known to all men and with ever growing illumination. Understanding truly face-to-face that we are walking out what we already were Jeremiah 1:15. Totally trusting in our ordered steps in a kingdom of heaven system. Not under the regime of man, but the Sovereign authority of Yeshua Hamashiach. This is the process and revelation, that causes us to walk in wisdom as a Talmidim of Yeshua. Every example and His word from the Torah throughout the Tanakh. Walking with Him in the cool of the day and feasting on fresh manna. The instructions on how to live fully functional as a kingdom citizen as well as reaping the benefits of Kingdom status.

Does His or do my own wants come first? A very fundamental yet an important principle, fiveamprayer. That which is totally connected to advancing and being instructed with Yahweh's wealth. Yahweh's test that comes with such a benevolent inheritance, is the 10th of your increase. This tests the heart of man and has been replayed by all throughout time. Who have known anything of the covenant of Yahweh. Since Cain and Abel bringing their tithes before Yahweh, when one was accepted and the other offering rejected because of the conditions of the heart. One just gave Yahweh any old thing. While the other gave the first and their best.

Genesis 4:3-5
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.  4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:  5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

The tenth of all increase is a principle that Yahweh uses to test the heart of man. Does man reign and determine life and all its outcomes? Or is Elohim sovereign and the simple command to sacrifice a tenth prevail as the second commandment? If the answer is the first, be aware of idols which include the hoarding of increase.

Deuteronomy 14:22-23
22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year. 23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

Exodus 20:3-6
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

This shows us an example of the heart. Will you please your needs first or Yahweh? So it really is not about a sacrifice--it's about the obedience. Will you trust Yahweh with a tenth of what He already gave you? Yes the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. As if He needs your money and not your heart. Men of Torah place Yahweh first, as Being Kings and Priests under the order of Melchizedek. Selfless and understanding the benefits of following the same patterns of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Trusting for the increase for our release.

A Modern Parable
The following parable speaks to those who go no further than profess their good intentions: Once, a man said, “If I had some extra money, I’d give it to Yahweh, but I have just enough to support myself and my family.” And the same man said, “If I had some extra time, I’d give it to Yahweh, but every minute is taken up with my job, my family, my clubs — every single minute.” And the same man said, “If I had a talent I’d give it to Yahweh, but I have no lovely voice; I have no special skill; I’ve never been able to lead a group; I can’t think cleverly or quickly, the way I would like to.”
Yahweh was touched, and so He gave that man money, time, and a glorious talent. And then Yahweh waited…and waited…and waited. Weary of waiting, He shrugged His shoulders and took all those things back from the man — the money, the time and the glorious talent.
Eventually the man said, “If I only had some of that money back, I’d give it to Yahweh. If I only had some of that time, I’d give it to Yahweh. If I could only rediscover that glorious talent, I’d give it to Yahweh.” And Yahweh sighed in deep disappointment.

Good intentions are worthless unless we put legs on those intentions, carry out our obligations and fulfill our promises. When we make a commitment to Yahweh, that commitment is binding and unchangeable. Our promise to be faithful to Him in ALL things was permanently and irrevocably set when we repented and were immersed into the Body of Messiah. We vowed to change our lives and obediently do all that He commanded us in His Word. Vows are irreversible, Ecclesiastes 5:4-6.
Finally, the Apostle Paul tells us to remember this:
“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for Elohim loves a cheerful giver,” 2 Corinthians 9:6-13. May we live up to our promises and receive the blessings that come with being good stewards of what He gives us.  To hear this again click here
