The Fourth Commandment Exodus 20:8-11 Remember the Sabbath
day, to sanctify it . Six days you shall work and accomplish all your
work; the seventh day is Sabbath to the Lord , your God; you shall not
do any work--you, your son, your daughter, your slave, your maidservant,
your animal, and your convert within your gates--for in six day the
Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them,
and He rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath
day and sanctified it.

lambs of the first year; they shall be unto you without blemish:
369. You shall offer the prescribed Elevation-Offerings on

371. You shall not demand payment debts remitted in the 7th
year --Deuteronomy 15:2 And this is the manner of the release: Every

374. You shall not refuse to lend to your destitute brother
because the year of remission is near --Deuteronomy 15:9 Beware that
there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year,
the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor
brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against
thee, and it be sin unto thee.

Revelation 17:5-7
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
Revelation has its way of shocking us with its truth. Especially when you think, you know a thing to be true, but you find out there is more to it. The mystery of a thing!!!! Drives one full of curiosity to search out the hidden--that can be found simply by tracing its origins.
Daniel 12:10
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

The mother of whores sticks out as an ironclad mystery to me. It poses a couple of questions as to, who is this Mother of Whores and who are the whores?
In the book of Hosea, he speaks against Israel as being a whore, an unfaithful wife to Yahweh. Yahweh causes the prophet to marry a temple prostitute a harlot. Sending a message to Israel for their treatment of His covenant with Him. This was not a contract, but a covenant forever between Israel and Yahweh. He Married to His people forever. Yet throughout the entire Tanakh we see disobedience and adultery.
Hosea 2:2
Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her, therefore, put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts
Hosea 4:11-13
11 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. 12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. 13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore, your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery
Yahweh tells Hosea to speak to his mother as an idiom. Not his physical mother, but of Jerusalem, his people Israel-Yahweh's wife in Covenant.
The Hebrew idiom reflects a double metaphor common in the culture of the ancient Near East. A capitol city was personified as a woman, and the inhabitants of that city collectively as her daughter. Jerusalem remains distinct as she whose Husband is the One God, Yahweh. Thus, her daughters, the collective inhabitants, depended on her for identity, but also shaped her future by their action.
This revelation is not something that is just contained in words, but it is something that Yahweh gives to the heart and mind of His children so that they are desirous to believe it. And they do. It does not take a lot of brain power, but it takes instead a gift from Yahweh to believe, which His children will do.
In Revelation 17:5, "harlot" is to be understood as including men too, those involved in what the Bible specifies as "harlotry," something that in usually ascribed to women, but biblically includes both men and women. Therefore, "MOTHER OF HARLOTS" specifically refers to unfaithfulness within a covenant relationship with Yahweh, not a specific human sexual sin.
The Protestant churches that revolted from the Catholic Church were certainly not unfaithful to God as churches. Neither was the Catholic Church unfaithful to God as a church. Why? Because they never entered into a covenant with Him! They were never His church! Yet it is the citizens of the nations of Israel were certainly unfaithful to Yahweh within a covenant relationship. Thus rendering the Mother of all whore's the very covenanted ancient people. To hear more of this teaching click here.
