Stop Second Guessing God!

We are walking in today:  Stop Second Guessing God!

Job 42:1-6 (NLT) 1) Then Job replied to the Lord: 2) “I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you. 3) You asked, ‘Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorance?’  It is I—and I was talking about things I knew nothing about, things far too wonderful for me. 4) You said, ‘Listen and I will speak!  I have some questions for you, and you must answer them.’ 5) I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes. 6) I take back everything I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show my repentance.”  Too many times we do that, second guess God.  Here are three biblical perceptions taken from this account of Job, on dealing with  life's unfathomable questions.  The first one is, it is enough to trust that God understands that which we just wouldn't understand--even if He tried to explain it to us.  In verse four, Job says, "things too wonderful for me..." so those things are the things we don't need to worry about.  We need to trust Him for who He is!  You gotta think about it this morning, after enduring the challenging ordeal of the deaths of his family members, the loss of his flocks, the loss of his herds, the loss of his good health and even the ridicule of his wife and friends.  Job realized that God was fully aware of the deep waters through which he had been pressing in.  In fact there are a lot of things God knows that we do not need to know.  So, stop second guessing God!  Every part of your life was already ordained by God.  He already knows the deep waters you will go into, so when you think about it--all we have to do is trust and believe God.  Trust and believe Him at all times!  Our heavenly Father never takes His eyes off of us--even when life is unfathomable, that knowledge alone is greater than understanding the deaths.  The second one shows us the most important knowledge is knowing God!  In verse five, Job is basically saying 'I get it now, I've been trying to figure out why and I should have been more concerned about who.  There is nothing wrong with us trying to understand the causes of life's problems but what we can not afford to do is to leave undone, seeking to know God better.  We often rob ourselves of peace, trying to figure out every minute detail of our difficulties, when we could be enjoying a wonderful friendship with God instead.  Job declares in verse five, 'I have seen you with my own eyes'--not a distant but, a personal relationship with God.  This indicates how we should focus more on God and less on our own pain.  What good will it do to understand our problems if we don't have a personal knowledge of God?  Think about it--because I keep hearing over and over again, we just continue to second guess God.  Jesus said in Mark 8:36-37 36) For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37) Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  Each one of us has an immoral essence we were created to know God and to live with Him forever.  This world and this existence is less than a mere fraction of the total implication of our existence.  What good would it do us to solve and thoroughly understand  all of our problems?  If we don't know God and are not therefore prepared for our real existence for eternity?!  The last and third one is that we better know God for ourselves!  Verse six, as I get to know God better and better, I see myself as my biggest problem.  It is in the adverse circumstances that create my greatest perils in life.  It is my attitude about myself.  We place great emphasis on self image and the Bible also places some emphasis there also, but not as much as we do. We need a greater image of God than we we do ourselves.  As I see God more clearly, I realize that the relative insignificance of my problem.  My job is to keep trying and not to fall in my own human nature, and to admit when I have failed to do so.  For us to keep looking to God as our hope and not to keep dwelling on my pain or problems.
When you think about it, we keep second guessing God, 'did You really say that?'  He tells where we are to go and what we are to do.  We keep praying, fasting and seeking Him on something He has already given us to do.  Stop asking if this is really the way.  He knows the plans that He has for us, to prosper us and to give us an expected end.  We come to tell You Lord, not our will but Thy will be done. We will line up and walk in what You have already given us to do.  We know that it is You that leads us into all righteousness!  Fiveamprayer, line up with His word!  We are to walk by faith and not by sight!  Walk this out, knowing it is already done, it is already finished!  We get up this morning with a new mindset!  Thank You Lord--that You would lead and direct us!  You know the plans You have for us.  We will no longer second guess, You.  You have a plan for our marriages, our finances, our children, even our very lives!  What You have for us, it is for us!  Some of us have been second guessing, what You told us to do.  We submit and turn it over to You.  Lead us, no more second guessing!  We respond like Job, though He slays me, yet will I trust Him!  Fiveamprayer, God is telling us this is the way, walk in it!  Through the fire, the flood, the separation--it will never change the fact that He knows the plans that He has for us.  That He is building us up and strengthening us for His purpose.  That is the God that we serve, He knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end!  Our God is so great that He knows the number of hairs on our head!  He is the same yesterday, today and forever more!   It is He that opens and shuts doors.  Don't second guess, God!  He is already, has been ready to bless us!  He is bringing us out--trust Him!  Look at this with spiritual eyes--not the natural.  It is all working out of our good!  Even though it may not work out like we thought, His thoughts are higher then ours, so of course not!  All things are working together for our good!  Through all of our tears, pains, suffering and pain--we have been pushing our way out, all the while God is walking with us while already aware of the outcome that He has already prepared in advance for us!  Why second guess God, He is not surprised, He is fully prepared and has all that we could ask or need at hand.  This is the time to line up with His word.  How is God gonna argue and fight with you to bless you?  James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.  Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.  He wants to give us good things and all good things come from Him!  Why was there ever a question?!  Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?  We can not compare God to man, even the Son of Man is perfect and only took on our sins to redeem us unto the Father, so obviously He is not a regular man.  We all know in the natural we don't willingly accept the blame of others in even minor things that would only cost a slight discomfort--not even in comparison to the beating and the death of the cross for He who knew no sin, and walked pure and perfect after the Lord.  God has done so much for us--why would we not quickly and confidently follow the word that God has given us?  We know that He is not a man and subject to lie, nor is He powerless to deliver on His promises--Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.  We serve a no limit God, so why would we question or be in disbelief?  Time to stop second guessing God.  Line up with His word!  Isaiah 30:21 And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.  No longer loosing peace wrestling with that which you were to hand over to God awhile ago.  He has already walked around in your future, you are going through--which means in the future you have come out!  In your marriage, finances and healing--God has already done it!  Fiveamprayer, it is already done and finished!  We walk by faith--not by sight.  Stop second guessing God!  He knows the plans that He has for you!  There you are there thinking about this thing day and night, not making head or tails of it.  You are no more peaceful nor closer to a answer then when you first started.  God has already told you to give it over to Him, but we just won't let it stay there.  When you let it go, set it down and don't go back for it.  Trust that God is a God of His word and He will do all that He has promised and said.  We may suffer not knowing, but trust and know that God knows!  Walk in the direction that God has given you!  Be still and know that He is God!  Do all that He said for you to do!  No more questions, what do I do?  Where do I go?  Stop second guessing.  This is not like in the natural that you go to one doctor and then seek out a second opinion, the problem with that comparison is that there is no one equal nor greater than God!  Hebrews 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself.  Where could you go for a second opinion?!  Surely not a mere man, who was created by God Himself!  There seems like there is no real argument for this delay, besides being stubborn and misunderstanding what your purpose is and who God really is.  Give it all over to Him, your marriage, your children, your finances, your job--all of it!  Trust and believe!  Take your hands off so that God can operate on your situation, circumstances, problem and issues!  Get out of the way, God can and will work it all out!  We have one thing, to stand believing and expecting Him to deliver on His promises!  We have to move when God tell us to shift!  Line up with His word.  He told us what to do and then it was confirmed in our spirit-man by the Holy Spirit.  Don't allow the enemy to cast doubts or fear--renew your mind in the word of God!  Get out of the way!  If it takes you being separated and set aside to have your marriage reconciled, tell God, I am gonna walk this out.  Stop second guessing God.  He said move, it is time to move, no hesitation or delay!  Get in the shift of God!  Line up with His word.  Guard your minds, stop thinking those wrong thoughts.  Here Paul tells us what to think on--Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  We are transformed by the renewing of our mind.  He has it already worked out!  Stop second guessing God.  Tell Him, no more!  I will do what You say, Lord.  I'll go, doing what You have planned for me.  That we have in our hearts nevertheless, Thy will be done.  We have tried to solve this every way that we could find--all to no avail.  Move out of the way, let God takeover--in your marriage, with your children and in deliverance!  Are you depending on you getting you out or God?  Get out of the way, let God!  Stop second guessing Him!  Stop talking about it and calling to ask other people about it.  Stand on His word!  How are we gonna second guess!?  Why try to figure this out, He is making us over!  He is pruning and purging us--it is all for our good!  That we would be filled with His wisdom, knowledge and understanding.    He told us to sow while there is a famine in the land, we shall reap because we have sown and God has sent the former and latter rain.  Isaiah 55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater.  God knows the plans that He has for us!  Get out of His way!  Let Him work it out.  His ways are higher than our ways or thoughts.  Stop second guessing God!  It is all about His will, not ours.  So now you are all by yourself, set aside by Him, that He would show up in the broken pieces, while you are taking your hands off and letting Him restore and rebuild you.  Keep pressing your way in, give Him the glory and He will give you the goods.  Bless Him anyhow!  Keep seeking  His word.  Only, You Lord can bring us out and fix this.  There is a hedge of protection around us!  It is already done, and finished.  Don't give up now!  We won't second guess You, Lord.  No matter what it looks like--trust Him!  Even when we don't understand the place that we are in, trust Him!  In your situation draw, you will draw others to Him.  John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.  With all the hell you are going through, you keep telling your testimony, giving God the praise!  Telling everyone all the good that He has done for you.  We can't second guess, He gives us peace that surpasses understanding, and joy unspeakable!  He is our way out of no way.  Don't you second guess, God!  Just trust Him!  He is waiting for us to let it go completely.  The word still works!  Hallelujah!  Take your hands off of it and let it go!  Stop thinking about it!  Tell Him, I trust You.  We repent for trying to fix it ourselves. We turn it over to You Lord.  I trust You Lord.  We have to totally turn it over to Him!   Get out of the way and really trust Him!  Let go and let God!  Thank You Lord!  Don't second guess, there are some that are saying they are not sure if they were called into ministry, God tells us that many are called but few are chosen. While thinking about it, move out of the way. Give Him glory through it all!  As Job did, with all that he experienced he did stay in a position of second guessing God!  And many of us have not even come close to experiencing what Job went though.  Trust God.  Don't let the enemy lead you away from what God has already told you.  Walk in it--this is your time and your season!  Trust Him!  Acknowledge Him!  Move in which I have placed you in,says the Lord.  Transform your mind with the word of God.  Cast down every imagination that would exalt itself against the high knowledge of God!  We lift up prayer requests that they have a transformed mind, let their mind shift back to being focused on You and You alone!  Tell God that You trust Him!  We repent for wavering in Your word.  Help us Lord!  Help our unbelief!  How can you not believe what God said, and yet you are a believer!?  Trust Him!  Your very next blessing is being released based on you changing your mindset to trust God and walk in what He has given you to do.  Ask God to create in you a new mindset and a clean heart.  We know that life and death are in the power of the tongue, we must speak Your word only!  Stop second guessing!  Asking God if He really said that.  We are to wait upon the Lord to get renewed strength.  Hallelujah!  Wait on Him!

We seal this prayer in His precious blood, by His Spirit:   I will trust You and wait on You!  I won't second guess You anymore!  Thank You God for transforming my mind in Your word.  That I stand on Your word saying not my will, Thy will be done!  I am laying it all at Your feet this morning, I let go and let God!
